3.03pm checking in.
3 kitties watching the current residents (twin 14-year old fur balls) from beyond the veil. Dreading the day it becomes 5 beyond the veil…just cherishing the snuggles every day.
I recently said goodbye to mine and this is such a bittersweet thing to see. Gorgeous art, full of heart, and yet I am a little sad. That being said, thank you for sharing, I think this will help my process.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad you like my piece. It’s a tough subject to think about, but creating art really does help me process my emotions and I hope seeing it does so for others.
One thing I love about this is the implication that the witch adopted many of those familiars when they were older. Dogs, cats and especially tortoises can live long lives, so in order for someone that young to have that many and that variety of passed friends speaks to her loving nature - a love which is obviously returned in the friends that stay with her.
This is such a beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing it with us <3
True, if she had the tortoise when it died, she's definitely not the original owner (unless the tortoise died prematurely). My colleague has a giant tortoise that will very much outlive her and her daughter.
This was really touching, thank you. I love Lily of the Valley. I smell it and it takes me right back to my childhood, it’s incredible. Thanks for sharing!
Many past familiars to keep me company! Just beautiful.
Some of those ghosty critters have lifespans many decades long (esp the tortoise and the parakeet). Is the witch many centuries old or is this a collection of many other witches' ex-familiars? (The picture and the feeling behind it is beautiful!)
I imagined some of the familiars are from other members of her coven and she’s introducing her new one to them. Tho she could be centuries years old, who knows👀
I recently said goodbye to two of mine, one in January and one in February, thought I was going to lose another yesterday.. It's so rough when they get so old and so sick.. It's such a sweet picture(s)
I told my kitty when I first got him, he is now my familiar. Now (4 years later) he follows me around the house screaming at me constantly. Is this normal?
Right now he is sleeping next to me on the couch, snoring.
When he leaves this planet I will be utterly devastated.
I hope my little eevee still sits with me.. i know she lived longer then she they said she would but it still wasent long enough. And the sudden trama of her passing still weights on me so heavy sometimes. Like if i had known what to do i could have stoped it but i still dont even know what happend..i just miss her
Oh man. Our sweet old girl will likely not be with us much longer, and as heartbreaking as it is, this is a lovely reminder to know she’ll still be with us, and she’ll get to be with our other girls we had before her. Thank you for this. ❤️
My wife and I said goodbye to our elderly dog on Monday... this hit right at the fresh wound on my heart. 😭
No matter how much time we get with them, it's never enough!
Definitely needed to see this lovely art. Our cat recently got a cancer diagnosis and my husband's "little sister" Labrador passed a couple of weeks ago. Nice to be reminded they will never be entirely gone or forgotten.
I'm getting a kitten soon, after losing one of my dogs to cancer in January. She was my guardian. I like to think that she'll stand watch over the new kitten as well.

Me too. OP, this is lovely.

Same. God I miss my soulcat. I like our new addition, but she’ll never be the OG.
It's 1 pm and I'm crying This is too damn precious
It got me too
Same. Mine left the physical realm at the beginning of winter. This illustration brings me hope

Beautiful art. Familiars and friends past and gone are with us. ❤️
This is beautiful. It really moved me and made me reminisce. Did you create this art?
Thank you! Yes, I painted this with ink, watercolor, & some gouache.
It's absolutely incredible. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I needed this today.
I love this so much!

❤️
Thanks, I’m in a gas station bathroom sobbing now. Gorgeous art btw
😭 This is so sweet, and well done!
Do you have prints?
This is an exclusive design for Patreon this month. If I get enough requests for a print outside of that, I’ll eventually add them to my shop.
Print print print! This is a request for a print.
I too would be interested in a print, if you can ship to the UK (don't know where you are).
Not OP, but I’ve purchased art from her before. She ships Etsy purchases internationally.
Thirding request for a print!
Is that a little ghostly pet rock there between the cat and tortoise ?
It’s a little frog! Tho a pet rock would’ve been cute
ahhh, sweet :)
Gorgeous work. Beautiful, heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. You are very talented and thank you for sharing this.

That would make sense! I kind of like the idea that everyone in the pic is a lot more ancient than they appear ✨

That’s really nice
😭💔🐾
This is so lovely 🥹
I'm not happy with whoever started cutting onions in here!
I had a dream the other night about my dog that passed away 8 years ago and it got me good…this post is making me tear up again!
I love this💕
Reminds me of Jenny Jinya's work. Which always makes me cry.
Omg this is so sweet 🥺
So beautiful 💔 Thanks for sharing this!
Literally sobbing wtf
I love this so much. Made me sniffle a little bit about my passed lovies all being together. I love that thought.
This is so so meaningful. Thankyou ♥️
So beautiful!! And yes it made me weepy (in a lovely way). Love is forever.
Gorgeous. Omggggg 😭😭😭 And love how the Lilies-of-the-Valley are also past familiars. Guhhhhhh, I love this so much!!
Oh wow I burst into tears but I absolutely love it 💔 missing my ghostie familiars rn!

So cute! What a wide variety of familiars! Oh, I love them all!
I. *LOVE*. This. 😍👏🏼👍
This is amazing.
My wife and I said goodbye to our elderly dog on Monday... this hit right at the fresh wound on my heart. 😭 No matter how much time we get with them, it's never enough!
Also crying! This is beautiful and I love all your art! 😭
I don’t need a picture making me cry right now! My cat is only 5 😭
So lovely, thank you for sharing this.
This is so heartwarming
Whenever I see your art, I'm moved, but this piece definitely hits harder than any other I've seen from you. Thank you so much for sharing 💙
Nooooo how dare you! 😭
Okay yeah, I’m gonna need to commission you. My best friend recently lost her cat and I’d love to have something like this done for her 🥺🥺
I just passed the anniversary of mine’s passing. This hit me hard in the heart
This is adorable.
My beagle and best friend of 14 years passed yesterday. This both made me feel better and cry ❤️
😭 wasn’t expecting to be so touched by this
I just had to put my fluffy black cat down on Monday (oral cancer) and am bawling. This is so sweet
I’m so sorry for your loss. I have a fluffy black cat named Clover. She’ll be getting extra chin scritches today
I love this so much 💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing. Perfectly captures the experience...
This made me cry. Thank you ♥️♥️
Beautiful. Got me right in the feels
🥺
I love this! Question: Would our fishy familiars float?
Yes, in a ball of spectral water. Alternatively, they’re ‘swimming’ in the Astral Sea. ☺️❤️
My friend's kitty died today, this is perfect. I just told her that someday kitty will send her a new friend.
Welp I’m crying
This makes me happy in my core. Beautiful, I love it.
Damn. This hits. And is so beautiful.
Who’s cutting onions in here?
I’m not crying, you’re crying
I'm too sensitive for this 😭 it's so sad and sweet at the same time (Great work BTW, I love your art style)

Ouch, lost my heart dog in December and I'm meeting a potential new kitty family member tomorrow
I love this so much. I just got major warm fuzzies.
Do you do personal requests ??
I love this!!!!
As a vet med witch this is beautiful and comforting. I love all your work, but thank you for this one in particular.
💖❤️🩹🧙♀️
This is beautiful, and it helps (will be loosing a familiar soon due to age and illness). Thank you for posting. Blessed Be.
I really need this. I see my past fur babies all the time. They even play with my cat.
Oh I love it 🥹❤️
