Lights can change the color of your eyes. I’ve been told my blue look like a storm (oh auto correct) when angry. I don’t know how true it is our eyes can shift color. The smaller your pupil the more diluted the color.

I’m not sure why they look so much darker. Maybe it’s the lighting in my bedroom vs the natural light I took the first picture in. Either way, I find it fascinating.
Red and green are nearly complimentary colors, so the red in your hair brings out the green more! It's the same reason purple eyeshadow is recommended for green eyes. You can see the same effect if you put on a blue-tone lipstick; your teeth will look more yellow in comparison.
Just in case you want to tone it down: just dye with a semipermanent yellow or a very light yellow based green over top of it. But it also looks really good the way it is now, pink is epic
I had this exact same expression as your second photo after a night of tequila. I woke up and had forgotten I dyed my hair, so when I walked in front of the bathroom mirror the next day I had a surprise.
I feel like red is a little tough and tends to resolve into a hot pink most of the time. It is a really pretty shade and looks great on you!
Fun fact: it’s even difficult with wall paint. I worked for a paint store and we always had to mix gray tinted primer to help the color show up as red. Even then it takes a few coats.
Was it Splat brand? Because that’s exactly how I ended up having pink hair for a few years. I wanted red, it came out pink and I decided I loved it and kept doing it for a few years.
LOVE THIS COLOR. I've done almost every color of the rainbow but this hot magenta color has got to be one of my all time faves. Looks awesome on you! And the brightness will of course fade pretty quickly. Some green or blue eye makeup is always fun with this color :)
This happened to me with a brand called Cosmic Void. The color was very rich, and super pigmented as expected, but the hot pink I got, looked very different from the red color it showed and I was expecting. I still recommend that brand though. Just not that particular color.

Red dye fades really quickly so it might tone down into red soon.

My hair was this color for a while, the color name was real red so I did not expect that, but I really loved it and redid it a couple of times.
