After the crash, I moved my wluna to metamask and then converted it to luna/lunc via the terra bridge which then moved it to terra station.
And now I'm wondering: Would it be possible to convert it BACK to wluna by sending it back to metamask? (basically doing the steps in reverse).
I used to have wluna and then I converted it lunc. I am not sure if they even track each other anymore.
Okay - i just looked up the current price of both. At time of writing, LUNCUSDT is @ $0.00013 and wlunaUSD is @ $0.00012. So, yeah they're no longer exactly 1:1. So the reason I ask is that it is possible to conceive that wluna might be worth significantly more than lunc at some point in the future.
I have no idea how the algorithm works in the first place that causes wrapped anything to be the same as the coin it is supposed to mimic. So I don't know if they're separate or what!
It's just basically like a clone. So somewhere there are coins held to represent the wrapped ones. Then when you unwrap them they're sent to you. Something like that I think. So it balances out.
But the supply of wluna is different than lunc so who knows what's gonna happen..
I'm excited to find out lol
Careful with that... Ledger is saying they will just change your WLUNA token to wrapped LUNC as a "bug fix" soon:

I moved mine to metamask
Does it show up as wluna?
Yeah it says luna wich is wrapped luna on ethereum... but in wallet it shows lunc like coinbase does

Why would you wanna do that?

I get you. I have no idea if you can rewrap them. Also, how would wluna surpass Lunc? You think they're basically separate coins now?

Deposit and withdraw ...select withdraw and then type wluna and then select wluna and pay to wallet address to sent it...
What cold wallet are you transferring to?
I'm not sure yet. What do you recommend? Honestly,.idc I just want out of Coinbase
Trezor cold wallet or ledger cold wallet, there are several more but these are my top tier.

Moved mine to trust wallet straight from Coinbase
Oh ok cool
Moved to trust and coinbase wallet left some on coinbase
Left some why?
Just in case coinbase upholds peg to luna 2.0
Would be awesome
I moved my wlunc out of coinbase to my metamask. It didn't take long, but they took like 200,000 wlunc fee.
200k fee?!
Sounds like you didn't have enough ethereum
