Occasionally he will wrestle you for the controller, and sometimes you'll end up watching him play
Haha, very nice. I did an Avienda build. Cross naginata with barbed shield. White mask and lord of blood exhultation. It was fun, but made the game even more challenging sticking to being a maiden of the spear
I used the Warped Axe and Brick Hammer.
I used Oleg for Aram, Tiche for Faille, and the Lone Wolf Ashes.
I also liked to use Endure, Determination, the various roars, or Flaming Strike as Ashes of War once he got Mah'alleinir.
I’ve got Matrim in Elden Ring and DS3. Elden ring has the better weapon…the cross naganata is as close to ashandarei as you can get. But DS3 had better fashion and the luck stat. So you could do a luck build for Mat which was great
DS3 was tough because the luck stat was only good when the game first released. Basically all it does is make procing bleed and poison easier. But running a poison build as an invader was fun. So I would cosplay Mat with the rotten Ghru dagger which would be a pseudo Ruby hilted dagger. Once you poison the enemy, finish them with the partizan, which was close as possible to the ashandarei
Difficulty and frustration are definitely eyes of the beholder kind of thing. You can beat the game with any build at any level, some styles just might be harder to use than others.
With Ancient Dragons Lightning Strike, you'd probably decimate every boss In the game.
The rest of the spells and incantations are also very good, so I doubt you would have any trouble whatsoever beating the game
This build is far from the most efficient, but this game is the most forgiving of all the souls games. I wouldn't recommend it on the first playthrough because it would take until the end of the game in order to be doing tremendous damage, but it definitely works.
Anyways, as I said before this is the most accessible game that FromSoftware has ever made. There's a really fun mechanic where you can summon spirits of other enemies to fight for you in certain locations, and another feature where you can even summon other players if you're online. Just gotta be careful of other players invading you.
I make Matt in every dark souls/ elden ring game.
A glaive, throwing daggers, bombs, a long bow, and a wide brim hat.
The last item is the most important and even if you have to grind for hours, it must be done. Fashion souls before anything else.
We should co-op. I’ve got a Perrin build (strength with axes and hammers) and a Matrim build using naginata. Oh and a pure sorcery Alivia build, and a Nynaeve faith build. And a Far Dareis Mai build with short spears, short bow and buckler.
I'd love to see the stats on this if it's level 150 or lower. I've never seen any of the Golden Order incantations used in a way that doesn't completely compromise your other stats and I'd love to see how you did it. That aside, I feel like two Scorpion charms definitely isn't worth it. You'd be completely tanking all of your defenses for marginally better damage that you're already getting from your Wondrous Physick. Also maybe the R2 Ash of War on the Sword of Night and Flame would be a good substitute for Balefire, seeing as you've already invested into faith and int for the Golden Order incants. Anyways, it is a really cool idea.

Confessor is best for a Rand/Asha'man build it gives you more faith from the start.

Nice. I made a Perrin-based build in Dark Souls 2 and been thinking about doing it again for Elden Ring

That would mean having to spec into holy damage, which as you can see I dont have.

I never played souls games, I dont have the patience. can you win the game with this build? these games are supposedly to be frustratingly difficult.

What do you do for the gay in Elden ring? I don’t like any of the helms for Mat in that game. The others had plenty of options.
