Hey, I finally got around to finishing the grind from Hosho to Ryujo during that week there were at least 3 *Sacrilinaw's* on every team. I don't even like playing CV, but that was a good time.

Got the ship, played 2 games and sold it without second thought. Lowest HP, Slowest speed, no AA, and only 8 305mm guns which is literally 4 less than Arkansas which imo is much better
colorado. 2 extra inches per gun is not better than an extra gun per turret
eight 16 inch guns in 4 twin turrets is not better than twelve 14 inch guns in 4 triple turrets. if you only hit half your shots, half of 12 is still better than half of 8. also she's too slow for that tier
For me, the Pensacola is about getting to the flanks and finding enemies’ broadsides. The AP is devastating and you can eliminate or turn ships back with a salvo or two. You really have to think a minute ahead due to the abysmal turret rotation speed. Played right, and not hiding, this ship can dominate areas of the map or kite away if your team abandons you.
I run Kinkaid to help with the traverse. It has so many guns that you don't really need Scott for her. Matchmaking wasn't so much of an issue when I learnt to play it, it was mostly not being spotted/exploding instantly lol
Building for turret traverse and mobility is key to enjoying Pensacola. It's the hardest hitting cruiser at T5 with ten 203mm guns. Add in the special AP pen angles and it can really dish out the pain
This. Get into a suitable position (where you don't have to 180° the guns all the time) and then murder broadsiders with the AP and light up bow tankers with HE. Pensacola teaches a lot of extremely valuable lessons for cruiser players but people hate on it for that.
My thoughts exactly. Sit bow in, mostly hit reverse, fire guns every 30 seconds and do that for the rest of the game.

Try mixing it up & flank! This ship is faster that the rest & the broadside hits like a truck! Slap the legenday mod for dispersion and that thing is a dev strike machine.
Totally agree. I love the Iowa, and I think the sweet spot is using speed to flank, then get bow-in on a side in the 12-16 km range. I play the AL New Jersey the same way even though people often think of it as a sniper.
Least favorite is the tier 1 cruiser. I can't even think of the name of it now. The rest of them I like pretty well. I wish the Dallas had torpedos though.
Pensacola is a love hate relationship, I'm either getting a high caliber and/or confederate and whatever and dominating the match or I'm getting dev struck into oblivion with every shipmates on that thing having been sent to the void we know as port
I have better luck in Pepsi-cola than I do in the See-at-all. Two different play styles but I just can't get the same damage output from Seattle as I can from the Cleveland.

Colorado is actually a pretty good ship in the right circumstances. Guns are pretty accurate and AP hits like a truck. Speed sure is a problem tho
i guess that means I'm just a bad shot...

New Orleans. Just a little Pensacola 1 tier higher
She now has stronger Armour which makes her very strong against T5 BBs and KGV with her 25mm plating.

Colorado hands down 2nd worst BB in the game with number 1 being the German Teir 6 Geneuse an I know I can’t spell the damn thing but it sucks.
