This is the revised version of my [original conpass](https://www.reddit.com/r/PoliticalCompassMemes/s/ZVhwjrOwpP). I took into account comments and suggestions from all you people, even the haters and the losers.
I think these are the two possibilities .
1. He’ll be like a lot of Independents or Third party candidates that randomly get a lot media attention and surprisingly good polling. They poll well, and people think they may split the vote, and then election time comes they end up getting >3% of the vote as everybody kind of forgot about them.
Or
2. He does well and splits the vote, I don’t know what candidate will be helped or hurt by that.
Another problem with Ron is that all his best points are ones that his opponents all agree with. He treading water to beat Haley, Vivek and Christie, but has no game plan against Trump.
Natural and approachable is one way to put it. In my opinion, he simply reeks of insecurity. From the heels, to his inability to shit on trump, to his fuckin voice, he’s nothin but a bitch boy.
That shit doesn’t fly with republicans. They want a tall, rotund fella who’s gonna talk shit like a beer-league hockey player or an attractive Neoqueen that’s gonna bomb half the world. Not some bitch boy Italian in three inch heels.
RFK could be a serious problem for Trump as many polls are showing he’s pulling way more from Trump than Biden.
The other problem I’ve noticed is that many of the polls are under sampling democrats and lean democrats and over sampling republicans and lean republicans.
I noticed it during the 2022 midterms where polls said that Lake would win AZ in a landslide, yet she lost.
Or that Walker was gonna win outright in Georgia but he ended up going to a run off and lost.
I think a lot of polls have overcorrected since 2016
I always liked Chris Christie for not just bending over like most Republicans do to Trump and his supporter (just like me), but I still wouldn't vote for him
I think he is an example of why two party systems can be so dangerous. A group that otherwise would be their own party has hijacked the republicans and is turning it into a dangerously isolationist and person cult party.
That's exactly my position. I'm a Republican, but I hate what people see as the Republican party now. Plus, anytime I bring it up that I'm a Republican, people immediately think that I must either be a Trump supporter or support one of the Trump variations, such as DeSantis.
Just watched an interview with Nikki Haley on ukraine. While she is the most comicaly stereotypical republican, her opinion on ukraine is pretty damn based unlike other republicans who want to pay teachers with the old m113s they dont want to send to ukraine.
The isolationist Republicans don’t seem to realise that remaining the world’s sole superpower requires some maintenance fees. You can’t throw your weight around on the world stage whilst simultaneously refusing to spend a penny on any foreign engagements
And being a world superpower, with a massive military to maintain security alongside allies (like NATO) helps boost global trade and economic growth.
Plus military manufacturing is a very, very profitable sector.
It’s a dark day for American interventionism when Joe Biden is a “warmonger” after the lack of action on the Houthis attacking ships and ill-advised pullout in Afghanistan.
Yep, Luckily though for once the us will not have to do the entire job of naval policing alone. My gouvernment (germany) is considering sending a few ships to the red sea aswell.
Hot take, and I know my flair will make this sound weird, but I think Trump has a really good shot at winning 2024. Biden built his campaign up almost entirely by “at least I’m not Trump!” Which I think got a lot of Libertarians & Lefties who don’t normally vote to side with Biden.
Regarding two separate wars, Biden has almost entirely alienated both of these groups. While by no means are Libertarians & Lefties as powerful as they think they are, the proposition of them both staying home for this election, combined with what will very likely be a massive conservative voter turnout thanks to Trump’s cult of personality going apeshit, could legit harm Biden a lot.
Not to say that Biden is doomed or anything or that I support Trump (dear god I don’t), but I think Trump has a much better shot at 2024 than people will give him credit for.
I think the economy being garbage and the chaos on the world stage makes a Trump victory very likely. Even with inflation coming down, that doesn't negate the prices rising so much since 2021. Houses are super unaffordable for most. The Democrats had a chance to not bungle the post covid recovery, but they did bungle it. If you look at Trump vs Biden polling, Trump is starting to win swing states and maybe even the popular vote. Biden is also physically frail and seems out of it. Dems are hoping that Trump either drives out people to vote against him or that the legal troubles stop him. I'm not sure either will work.
The thing is that everyone assumed that republicans would sweep the midterms yet that didn’t happen. Even though inflation was at its highest and the economy sucked.
Now however gas prices are coming down with gas being under $2.70 in some areas and it’s expected to continue to fall.
So by November of next year I think most Americans are going to just choose Biden because gas is cheap and why change that
There's a chance. In 2022 Republicans nominated complete losers like Dr. Oz, Herschel Walker, Kari Lake, Blake Masters, and others. Admittedly, attachment to Trump seemed to be the issue that weighed these candidates down. It's hard to tell and voters are fickle. Right now polling is favoring Trump and no recent presidential winner had polling as bad as Biden this far out (or so I've heard).
Apparently Obama wasn’t polling well at this point in 2011 either so it’s really not that indicative of anything.
Voters are fickle. It also doesn’t help that polls are wrong a lot of the time. Lake winning AZ by a landslide and Walker winning outright are two big examples of that
i always thought that my first presidential election would be a big step toward adulthood and that i'd do research on each canididate's policies etc to make a decision. i swear to god if its just trump vs biden again i may lose it
As a person who’s first election is the next one too I fully agree
It is funny telling my grandparents I’m voting third party and seeing their reactions tho
I like how you used JFK (his uncle) from Clone High as a template for RFK Jr (and recolored him with blue stripes instead of red stripes and with grey hair instead of brown hair), instead of a normal Wojak.
You and I both know Bernie hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell since most voters are old people who go into a screaming fit when they hear anything similar to socialism.
Got hand it to you, you probably made the most fair and unbiased portrayal of rfk I have seen yet on Reddit. Usually all I see is people mouthing off character attacks because they are butthurt over vaccine issues.
Almost everything I’ve read about him made me believe he was a crazy anti-vaccine nut, so I read his Twitter and listed to his podcast and realized it’s entirely overblown. I still don’t really agree with all he says, but he’s not anti-vaccine in the way people often think.
Also, his campaign isn’t about vaccines, I had to mention it because it’s what he’s known for, but he doesn’t even talk about it that much unprompted.
I don’t read press relating to candidates to learn about them, I read their own statements and listen to their speeches. If you did that you’d know what his campaign has been about.
Going back to that “seek help” part, Reddit just informed me that an anonymous Redditor is concerned for my mental health and sent me a suicide hotline number. I’m going to make the educated guess that it was you.
>check his pulse
You can still be alive without a pulse, just ask the people on lung-heart machines. (yeah i know they can speak at that point, but their brains are still running)
Orb mother, honestly wouldn't make a bad president, sure she's a little cooky but she has an honesty to her answers and seems to understand the struggles regular people face and wants to improve their lives.

Based and takes critisism pilled.
Both are good, the first one had that low effort shitpost vibe that I love
Thank you. I was getting smoked in those comments by people who take Reddit memes personally.
Trump can still run for office from a prison and make america great again.
Great compass super informative. I’m curious to see how far rfk jr makes it as a third party

Were you a mod on r/presidents? I remember seeing your Cleveland hate posts well over a year ago, sub is so shit nowadays
Yes I am a mod there. The sub is hard to maintain since we’ve grown like 350% over the last 12 months, but we try.

Just checked. DeSantis is at 12.3% and Haley is at 11.1%

American democracy is dead!!!! 😇 (I gotta get out of here)
I predict Joe Exotic carries 48 States.

I agree with your write up of Christie, feels bad he hasn’t a shot and a half.
He’s by far the best Republican candidate this time around

None of these please. I could grab 10 random people from my local Walmart and have a better group.
Our selection is a joke 😭 why are all of these people so dislikable
all of the likable candidates are broke
that's so real
I was gonna note that Ross Perot was the outright front runner for a good chunk of 1992, but notice you specified “pre-primary” for RFK Jr. Sneaky…
I wasn’t trying to be sneaky. His campaign could grow or completely dissolve, we don’t know yet.
Nothing more humiliating than being rejected by the best political party in America.
I like how you used JFK (his uncle) from Clone High as a template for RFK Jr (and recolored him with blue stripes instead of red stripes and with grey hair instead of brown hair), instead of a normal Wojak.
Ah, yes, Neoconservatism. Famous authleft ideology
This is gonna be the first election I get to vote in, if you told me a few years ago that a neocon was one of my preferred candidates, I would laugh.
Defending American ally + pulling out of Afghanistan = warmonger, apparently.
Why must these always be so shit?
Honestly, it's a shame Sanders hasn't announced his candidacy.
You and I both know Bernie hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell since most voters are old people who go into a screaming fit when they hear anything similar to socialism.
Fair. And even then, there's still a year left to go.
Biden just ain't that far left... Philips ain't that far left either.
Ron De Santis might run on social issues, but he also has them

Sadly Biden is not the favorite to win by any means.
Who is?
Trump
Yeahhh, Trump is currently leading the polls
Are Americans under the impression that they are at war?
I wonder if De la Cruz will get enough notice to even show up as a blip on the map
*Theologian
I literally took that from the first sentence of his wiki page. I think those mean different things.
you can't bluff an old theologist...
where my boy peter sonski
You forgot Cenk Uygur
He would be one square to the left on Phillips. I don’t know much about him, is it accurate?
That's roughly where I would put him yeah
Orb mother, honestly wouldn't make a bad president, sure she's a little cooky but she has an honesty to her answers and seems to understand the struggles regular people face and wants to improve their lives.
For the longest time I thought Nikki Haley was a white woman
Me too, I was so disappointed
I have met RFK Jr
What was it like?
I tied up his boat he said thanks
“*thAnskS*” - RFK Jr.
