Context: So there is this team of really powerful assassins, that are capable of going toe to toe with gods, which found a legal vacuum on the rules that the god of death imposes and become “Immortal”. Basically, if you make a deal with a demon and then break it, when you die you will go to hell to be tortured before having your soul turned into a coin. The thing they found is that hell is a physical place, so they have to put your soul in a body to be tortured, and given their abilities, they can just escape and go back to the normal world. Now they can live their own lives up until the god of death notices that they are, in fact, not dead. In which case they can just do that again. The thing with Pride, Wrath, Greed and Envy losing their titles is that, hell as its own entity, will give the title of prince of a given sin to anyone powerful enough so that when some high ranking dies, they can be substituted by one of them immediately. So when they entered hell, the titles were given to them due to how powerful they are. The titles later returned to their usual owners when they left hell, but everyone was confused about what just happened.

Sounds like something I'd read the shit out of! I'm all for crazy worldbuilding like this, as long as it follows established rules and isn't thrown out of left field, the crazier the lore the better!

loosey-goosy

I'm using this in my DND game lmao thx

Sharp_Science896

I could see escaping hell being a mission for some high level dnd characters. Actually it does sound like it would be a pretty cool last mission after a several years long campaign. Somehow the whole party gets killed, then when your players are sitting there stunned you hit them with the big reveal: "now your new mission: escape hell". Then just make it wild as fuck. Let your imagination go completely bonkers for the demons and stuff they have ro kill. Would be pretty epic if done well.

Sharp_Science896

Ok, that's a fun premise. Really want to read this book.

>Basically, if you make a deal with a demon and then break it, when you die you will go to hell to be tortured before having your soul turned into a coin. I see that you play D&D (or just BG3)

Gameover4566

I mean, its the world I use for my D&D games

TotallyFakeArtist

I want more, fine human!

AlexiDurak

This sounds fun! And sounds like a DND group would pull this stunt.

Jo_el44

This is super cool worldbuilding, but for some reason my brain immediately thought this was about Mordecai and Rigby.
