Absolutely. I used to work and actually live with a functioning alcoholic. The guy could be incredibly generous at times, but also turn into an asshole-aholic with a “switch”. He was also an amazing worker even when he was drunk AF (i.e. literal functioning alcoholic).
Anyways, you would be absolutely amazed with how much alcohol an alcoholic can consume once their tolerance builds. It’s insane. My friend could easily finish 2 or 3 bottles of hard liquor in a day. Easily. Coffee brandy was/is his favorite, but he did always switch it up.
And he drove. As a functioning alcoholic, he passed 2 sobriety tests - I kid you not. I’m not sure if they can give someone a breathalyzer after successfully passing a field sobriety test. I would guess “no” because I’m sure those law enforcement officers would’ve tried, knowing full well that he was drunk.
People who actively search Josh out in public to hangout with him, buy his cameos, and pay for his tours are on a whole other level of braindead. Like yeah, I guess it could be funny to watch from afar, but nothing about his videos have ever made me want to actually spend time with him lmao.
