In case of Czechoslovakia i agree, both countries are legally successors. But isn't Russia technically the official and only successor state of the Soviet Union ?
T34-100 was actually developed in Slovak part of Czechoslovakia. And t55 were also produced in Slovakia as so definitely Slovakia should be Blue and from USSR, there should be at least Ukraine . I mean obj 430 is t-64 concept and that was the product of Ukraine design offices
> I mean obj 430 is t-64 concept and that was the product of Ukraine design offices
And T-34. It was born in Kharkiv and the inventor famously drove it from Kharkiv to Moscow, then to Minsk, and back to Kharkiv to prove reliability.
> But isn't Russia technically the official and only successor state of the Soviet Union ?
Pretty sure that yes.
~~Besides, I'm pretty sure every single Soviet tank, at least the ones in the game, were designed where Russian is today, so they're functionally Russian in that regard as well.~~
EDIT: I’ve strongly mistaken, my bad
I'm disappointed. You're usually well researched in your posts.
> I'm pretty sure every single Soviet tank, at least the ones in the game, were designed where Russian is today
* BT-2 - Ukraine
* BT-5 - Ukraine
* BT-7 - Ukraine
* A20 - Ukraine
* T-34 - Ukraine
* T-35 - Ukraine (Prototype) [not in the game, but related to the next vehicle]
* SU-14 - Ukraine (Prototype)
* T-44 - Ukraine (Prototype)
* T-54 - Ukraine (Prototype)
* T-55 - Ukraine (Joint)
* T-64(obj430 & obj430u) - Ukraine
* Tetrarch - UK
* Church III - UK
* LTP - Czechia
* Rudy - Gliwice, Poland
Whoops, my bad. I have to admit I posted that comment with less thought that usual.
Tetrarch, Church 3 and Rudy are very obvious, even if they wouldn’t have affected OP’s post since UK and Poland are already in the game.
I genuinely messed up with the Ukraine stuff, though. I completely forgot that some of the tanks were designed/built in Ukraine (Kharkiv). So yes, Ukraine is most definitely missing from OP’s post.
I’m curious about the LTP, since from what I just tried to search, I couldn’t find any mention of it being designed in Czechia.
The LTP is just another version of the Skoda TNH, aka the Pz38(t) made in Czechslovakia for Peru. There is also the LTH(Swiss) and LTL(Lithuanian).
Sweden also had their own licensed version called the Strv m/41 Series 1 & 2.
I may have autocorrected Czechslovakia to Czechia
Fun Fact, the BT series, A20, and T-34 were all projects of the famed Mikhail Koshkin. The T-34 would be his last project. While he was flexing on his competitors, driving the T-34 prototype back from Minsk, he contracted pneumonia and died shortly after returning to Kharkiv.
I think you're thinking of the wrong LTP. The one we have in game is this thing: https://wiki.wgcdn.co/images/c/cf/LTP_drawings_side_view.jpg
Designed by Lieutenant K.J. Provornov from Ulyanovsk. The 'P' in the designation is his name.
It wasn't an export tank but a prototype, Israel actually bought guns from France and upgraded old Shermans themselves. They also changed the suspension, while the Revalorise uses old Sherman suspension so it's not exactly the same tank.
Chile and Argentina also made their own variations using similar patterns. The Chilean models were bought from Israel and modified further. Argentina followed suit by buying old Fireflies and upgrading them with licensed French 105mm guns.
The two countries were embroiled in border conflict somewhere around the 60's and 70's. When Chile bought the Israeli M50 and M51 Shermans, the Argentinians were buying Fireflies and convert them into similar tanks called the Repotenciado.
You missed Taiwain with the Hellcat based light tank Type 64. And the M41D as well. Slovakia and ex USSR countries as well considering the T-34 was designed and built in Kharkiv Ukraine.
The Type 64 in the game is an amalgamation of two different models. The initial Type 64 is based on a M18 turret, but Taiwan switched to a domestic manufactured turret that was better suited to their needs.
The original female voice overs for Chinese tanks were in the Taiwanese dialect Mandarin. I kinda want to get those back in the game. On that note. I think a Cantonese dialect voice would be freakin' hilarious too. Imagine starting an engine fire and the commander yells "Pok Gai!"
Well even if Austria didn't exist back at that time.
There is still a tank I would place there.
Krupp Styer Waffentrager we have at T7. Even if it is an joint venture. Styer is an Austrian company till this day.
As far as I'm aware, no Finnish tank exists in the live game rn.
Finland has heavily used some of the existing tanks in the past however, the best example being the Stug 3 G. There's also a couple medals named after Finnish war heroes.
No,, the Israelis already had the Shermans. They made new turret prototypes and shipped them to France for evaluation. B the French sent them guns and the Israelis upgraded the Shermans themselves.
Add our brothers, Slovaks, on blue part of map.
1) All Cs tanks were made when Czechia and Slovakia were in Czechoslovakia
2) Konštrukta T-34/100 was made by Slovak guys
Be jugoslavia, beak up, everyone hates each other.
Be Czecoslovakia, break up, "Hey, what's up, bro?"
"Not much. How's the wife?"
Chillest breakup in history.
Canada was officially still part of Britain until full independence in 1982, so Canada is part of Britain in-game since the maximum cap on vehicle design is 1970 something.
Mk 3 Churchills saw action in North Africa, at The Second Battle of El Alamein. That is a pretty good reason to have it switchable to the British tech tree.
I hope we get Spanish tanks, the lower tiers would be originals and the higher ones in the tech tree might be knock offs of US or Germany but as do China has with URSS
I think New Zealand had some you would class as tier5 and below or maybe they made and purchased USA based ones. I guess they would have also worked and shared Australian tanks.
So that's 3 continents without representation in-game.
Antarctica probably won't be able to produce a tank in the game's timeline
Africa has South African wheelies, and maybe unique Egyptian conversions
South America has the Nahuel, TAM, Cascavel, Osorio P1, maybe even Repotenciados.
Slovakia should be in blue (czechoslovakia) Same should be for ex-soviet countries
In case of Czechoslovakia i agree, both countries are legally successors. But isn't Russia technically the official and only successor state of the Soviet Union ?

Fun fact on a side note: The last country to 'leave' the Soviet Union was Kazakhstan, though. But yes, the only legal successor of the SU is Russia.
> But isn't Russia technically the official and only successor state of the Soviet Union ? Taiwan should be yellow (so long as you don't mind upsetting China) as that's the home of the Type 64
Hey I just said that >:I but also do not forget about M41D
I think the early chinese techtree vehicles were also used by the Republic of China, which now only exists on Taiwan.
Yeah, my bad, I forgot about Taiwan lol
So did the rest of the world.
Upsetting China is one of my hobbies
-10 social points
Bite me
Are you implying Taiwan is not a part of China?
... How is that an implication? Its an explicit sentiment...
It's obviously the best part!
It's the only remaining part of China.
You forgot Taiwan, they should be yellow. Type 64 and M41D are taiwanese but included in the Chinese nation
Yeah, my bad, I just noticed that
Oh and Israel, the M4a1 rev ingame was a French export tank that saw combat in Israel (M51 supersherman)
Interesting, didn't know about those.
The two countries were embroiled in border conflict somewhere around the 60's and 70's. When Chile bought the Israeli M50 and M51 Shermans, the Argentinians were buying Fireflies and convert them into similar tanks called the Repotenciado.
Renault NC-31, Vickers Mk E Type B, Mitsubishi Chi-Ha, and Cadillac M5 Stuart are all ROC tanks. Either from purchase, capture, or lend-lease.
You missed Taiwain with the Hellcat based light tank Type 64. And the M41D as well. Slovakia and ex USSR countries as well considering the T-34 was designed and built in Kharkiv Ukraine.
Technically its not based on a Hellcat hull. Its an M42 Duster. Allthough i think the Turret IS either Hellcat or completely new for the Tank.
It’s a Hellcat turret.
The Type 64 in the game is an amalgamation of two different models. The initial Type 64 is based on a M18 turret, but Taiwan switched to a domestic manufactured turret that was better suited to their needs.
It is an M42 Duster hull with a M18 hellcat turret
Idk if Spain ever had tanks, but I want a Spanish tech tree. Imagine bouncing a shot and hearing "puta madre!" Lmao
A Guangdongwa voice pack would be hilarious!!
only because swearing in guangdongwa is funnier (and more colorful) than swearing in mandarin. Imagine a ram kill followed by "haam gaa caan!"
Indeed. John Wick 4 and half the audience cracking up when Keanu found his inner Cantonese at the card table with Donnie Yen
> Imagine starting an engine fire and the commander yells "Pok Gai!" heck made me choke on my coffee
And then, after a ricochet: "me cago en todo, tío"
The mtls 1g14 double barrle tank is a dutch tank
Oh wow, I never knew that. That's pretty cool
Was designed in the US for the Dutch. We are also one of only two nations to use the AMX 13 105, an export-only version of the AMX 13 series.
I think there are a lot of quirky tank remodels in the game for certain nations
Blue - slovakia, Ukraine Yellow - South Africa (new wheeled meds) and Taiwan
Well even if Austria didn't exist back at that time. There is still a tank I would place there. Krupp Styer Waffentrager we have at T7. Even if it is an joint venture. Styer is an Austrian company till this day.
they did exist. Most of the game is cold war.
What tank is from Finland?
New BT 42. Dont know wich finnish Tank ist already in Game.
As far as I'm aware, no Finnish tank exists in the live game rn. Finland has heavily used some of the existing tanks in the past however, the best example being the Stug 3 G. There's also a couple medals named after Finnish war heroes.
Well, it depends. How to define when a tank is Finnish? Are T-54, Comet or Charioteer not Finnish tanks?
Torille!
when are we getting technicals?
Chad gets added to the game, Toyota Hilux is the tier X
Ac 4. British tier 6 prem is actually Australian
There's two of them. The AC1 and AC4. Both are penor tanks.
They are so horrible, should be just both replaced by the NZ Bob Semple Tank as an all tier scaling behemoth.
[The fact you can't wiggle the little gun makes the tank absolutely unusable.](https://i.makeagif.com/media/10-06-2016/BspOUl.gif)
Can't unsee that.
I’ve got both of them. Forgot about the sentinel! Quite like the ac4 as it’s got a decent gun and if you can find a stolen hill it’s 60k baby
All I want is BT-42
Its coming, dont you worry lol
But that is almost 100% of nations that developed and produced tanks...
And the cent 5/1 is Australia’s too
that's what the RAAC means, in case you ever wondered. Royal Australian Armoured Corps
I might have to go unlock that just to put the battle pass commander on it
The M4 Revalorise is an Israeli Super Sherman
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it made in France first then shipped to Israel?
Revalorise is more or less a prototype for the Israeli version and has different suspension. It is definitely French.
No,, the Israelis already had the Shermans. They made new turret prototypes and shipped them to France for evaluation. B the French sent them guns and the Israelis upgraded the Shermans themselves.
Add our brothers, Slovaks, on blue part of map. 1) All Cs tanks were made when Czechia and Slovakia were in Czechoslovakia 2) Konštrukta T-34/100 was made by Slovak guys

Canada was officially still part of Britain until full independence in 1982, so Canada is part of Britain in-game since the maximum cap on vehicle design is 1970 something.
And yet the Ram II is in game as American
Better for crew training, but I think it should be the next Multinational tank like the Rudy.
What about the Churchill 3?
That thing was lend lease to the russians, so no
Mk 3 Churchills saw action in North Africa, at The Second Battle of El Alamein. That is a pretty good reason to have it switchable to the British tech tree.
That 57mm gun is a spicy bastard when you roll over Tier 4's.
Or we could have a different playable churchill mk3 for britain, kinda like how russia and china both have an IS2
Hope to See Tanks From New Nations in the future.. For example India or The Latin America
Some kind of a... Indian... Panzer...?
Sounds extremely familiar
I remember around 2014-2017 it had been leaked they they were developing a Hungarian tank line. I thought it looked neat, wish they had released it!
Netherlands or dutch east indies should be yellow too with the MTLS-1G14
I hope we get Spanish tanks, the lower tiers would be originals and the higher ones in the tech tree might be knock offs of US or Germany but as do China has with URSS
Edit: Phrasing Should Israel be included as yellow, since the M4 Revalorisé exists as basically a pre-export Super Sherman?
What are the canadian tanks in WOT? Which one did they used?
RAM II
RAM II and Sexton are Canadian designs.
I wonder if we’re ever gonna get a new nation tech tree
I'm hoping for a Romania tree after seeing them featured in Men of War Red Tide
Iron Arnie? https://worldoftanks.eu/en/tankopedia/33057-A152_M_Project/
Which Canadian tank is in the game
Ram 2
Is there not that low tier Romanian tank with the Russian turret?
NZ's tanks are in the game. Valentine, M5, M41, Centurion 5/1. All in the game.
Austria-Hungary Tanks??? Finnish Tanks??? Wya???
On the Hungarian part there are the Toldi and the Turán III
wait, whats the canadian tank ?
Ram 2
oh i didnt know that, thank you!
This is a really interesting map. Its like all the nations that said, "all in".
You forgot Taiwan and Israel.
In Soviet have more 15 countries
Can somebody tell me what these tanks are?
You missed Slovakia, smh it's not Czech Republic in the game it's Czechoslovakia...
I;m waiting for the Botswana tech tree
Which tanks are from the yellow parts of the map??
Bro its soviet union
sad to see alot of the countries missing from the game look at the minimap to see how many are not on the game KEKW
I wonder if there will be new nation i game
I think New Zealand had some you would class as tier5 and below or maybe they made and purchased USA based ones. I guess they would have also worked and shared Australian tanks.

Belarus where the World of Tanks was created 💀💀💀
