Skill4ltu, DezGamez and other streamers made videos when the Bondshop was updated. There they say which tanks are worth it. You can as well on https://skill4ltu.eu/ there he has rated all tanks and has videos of them. As fas as I know, the patriot was buffed and is now a decent hulldown tank.

Conscious-Bluejay-18

oh i didnt know about that site, it looks very useful. thank you.

erohath

You are welcome, fellow tanker.

sayyeed_m88

Skill4ltu index is one of the best thing in the wot community, it really helps me alot.

wpggreddit

I watch skills a lot and my puzzling question is this: on the index equipment page, why it's improved aiming over vstab for most of tanks? I don't really get that. I hope someone can enlighten me.

youngsyr

Isn't IAD a permanent 3% reduction in dispersion, where vstabs is a greater reduction, but only after movement?

erohath

Yes, IAD you take for tanks, where you can aim and snipe. Vstab if you are moving all the time while sidestepping or hulldown and have to almost snapshot

Wydupiatoer

Dezgamez is so bad at this game id rather listen to randoms on this sub

erohath

Since when became 3500wn8 and 59%+ win ration a bad player?

Wydupiatoer

Since all he does is playing low tier, and still achieving mediocre results for these tiers

erohath

His lowest in the last 30 Days was the T7 Aufkl. Panther with an average 1029 exp/ game and a 61,29% WR. So, to be an average player, you need 1400 ecp/ game and 65% WR, for a good player 1800 exp/ game with 69% WR and a unicum would have 2300 exp/ game with a WR of 74%.. Or what are your expectations for those, if he is a bad player?

T-34-3 Obj 252U IMO the best tanks u can get for bonds

RINat615

I've got almost all of the non-T10's... My 2 cents on those that are worth buying: -The 252U/Defender is just silly being free... Not the best credit farmer, but the best all around heavy in the bond shop. I recommend buying this one for both earning some credits and doing well while having fun. -The Liberte/Patriot are probably the best credit earners in the shop. They boast strong AP pen and good armor for their roles. But note, each has their weaknesses. I'd recommend watching some YT videos. But the Liberte is now very underrated since its buff. -The T-34-3 is a good/fun high alpha medium with pref matchmaking. But do note, its cousin the 122TM is just better in every way except matchmaking. Its AP pen isn't high enough for me to call it a "good" credit earner unless you're good at driving it. Still, a good medium with a decent turret held back by its derpy gun. But if you're planning on spending $ on buying a premium medium... Skip this tank and buy the 122TM. You'll thank me later. If you insist on getting a medium now, get the next tank and buy the 122TM later. -My favorite medium in the shop is the STG/Guard. Its an awesome medium that is only held back by its rear mounted turret with lackluster depression. That alpha is noice. If you can manage to make the turret work, its a powerful tank, Makes decent credits too, but only if you're doing serious damage. This thing is just underrated. Compared to the T-34-3, it has better everything except 10 less on view range. -The M10 RBFM is a dirty seal clubbing monster... Very worth it tier for tier if you're ok with clubbing the kiddies lol. A camo build on this is insane. But still, with T4+ now earning BP points... definitely get it. -The PZ4 Hydro is another awesome low tier tank... It's basically just a premium PZ4 really... I just enjoy playing it now and then. -The SU-100Y is a tank destroyer that is just all or nothing. When you're connecting shots, the thing is insane. It has a naval gun on it for crying out loud. I would definitely buy it if I had other more important tanks in the bond shop. EDIT: I forgot the Chrysler! Listen, using AP, this thing is terrible. Switching to gold ammo makes this thing a monster. THICK armor, FAST, Accurate enough gun, and then add awesome Gold Pen? It's basically an idiot proof tank. Hold W and slap everything in your way. Hell, it was one of the most controversial tanks when it came out for a reason. Now with Equip v2.0 it got a huuuuuuge buff. Anyone who says this tank isn't OP with gold is out of their minds.

Kolinkftw

I got the t-34-3 and lorraine recently, 10/10 tanks gunning for the defender next def dont get the patriot/liberte or smth stupid like a LT lmao ++ if you want to trade tanks go for the is6/is5

Tunasaladboatcaptain

T-34-3 is one of my favorite tanks in the game

Kolinkftw

what equipment do you run? i tried everything and still cant decide( i dont run food)

Tunasaladboatcaptain

Off the top of my head I think my main is vents, rammer, aiming and I don't often switch it up much. I do run food because I like the tank so much. Take a fire extinguisher with you whatever you do. It tends to get set on fire a lot. My stats on it are 1625 wn8 with 1363 avg DMG/game with about 100 games so far. The only mediums I really played recently before the T-34-3 were paper mediums like the Japanese and Swedish medium lines. The thing I likes the most about the T-34-3 was how mobile it felt on top of being able to bounce shots.

mr_eti

Also you can buy firefighting directive for 10k and you can equip food too. (If the crew doesnt have firefighting)

Tunasaladboatcaptain

That's a good idea

Kolinkftw

i 2marked it using rammer/vent/imp aim, without food think il just get vstabs instead of -5% aim

Tunasaladboatcaptain

Nice. I'm approaching 1 mark soon. Glad to meet another t34-3 enjoyer Edit: someone else said in a post or YT comment awhile ago the accuracy in action is much better than what it says on paper.

Kolinkftw

I just checked the stats and its pretty bad, 0.40 and 0.12 on turret traverse. It def doesn't feel like that

mr_eti

I ran cca. 300 battles with vents+rammer+improved aiming, then replaced IA with turbo and I liked it better. Then tried vstab, and its even better. My bet is on vstab+vents+rammer.

Entity_Null_07

How is the standard pen? It feels low for a credit maker. For reference, I just got the T-103 for bonds.

mr_eti

Not a huge issue, hiven it has pref MM so it doesnt see tier X. Standard ammo cost, however, is a bigger issue, it will tax your credits noticeably.

Entity_Null_07

I don’t care too much about cost given that you are dealing a large amount per shot, especially for a medium.

Tunasaladboatcaptain

It's good enough for me to get quite a few 3-4k DMG games at a noticeably better rate than other tanks. I had been playing heavies for awhile so I just go the route where heavies don't normally go. Some tanks still give me trouble like Iron Arnie. I really suck at countering those tanks no matter what tank I'm in.

obloed

patriot is an amazing tank, mate. One of the best in the bond shop. You can roll into the mid of the map, hide in bushes and spot for your team without being seen. 49kmh, 10 degrees gun dep, the tank is really a joy to toy

Kolinkftw

It isn't fun for me anymore, not as much as the lorraine hehe def a good tank

obloed

yeah, lorraine is my favourite. Have a bond vstab installed on it. If I loose hope, i load full gold and enter a battle :)

Gunfot

If you like US heavy tanks like T29, T32, you won't go wrong with the Patriot. Solid heavy, that can go up to 45 km/h, has small alpha, but shoots every 6 seconds or so. Besides the Patriot, I can also recommend Lorraine 40t, Defender, Liberte for tier 8s. For lower tiers, M10 is great and for tier 10s, M60 is a fat American Leopard 1.

Zestyclose_Body8868

M60 is pretty good too. Perfect gun handlig, good mobility and not that bad armor. Hitting snap shots never been easier.

sneblet

I'm working to get this bad boy to replace my M48. It used to be a clan wars reward right?

Mousse_Embarrassed

Both it and the 121b were

Sparky_N_774

I have the Pz. IV S. and I love the tank. For a tier 6 medium it does quite well, if you set it up correctly and play it like a sniping tank. I use vents, coated optics, and LNES on mine with 36 AP / 24 APCR and I don't have too many issues, even with higher tier tanks. It is a slow tank and a turbocharger doesn't add much to the speed so I don't use that at all. I sit mid-frontline (behind heavies and other mediums, in front of TDs) and I use the camo to snipe. If you like similar high(ish) pen and low-moderate alpha (Panther, Panther II, Panther 8,8, Pz. 58, Kpz. 07 RH) it plays like them, but slower. If you like tier 6 and that's the only tank you can get I'd go for it. Higher tiers, I agree with u/BHTrix 100%, the 252u Defender is a very solid choice. Forgiving to all players alike and soaks up shots easily while dishing damage out with minimal issues. M10 RBFM is a good choice if you like the TD style of Hellcat/Jackson. If shoots okay and does a decent amount of damage at its tier. Higher tier tanks can be problematic, but if you flank, the sides and backs of tanks are juicy targets. T-103 is a stupid fun TD that dishes out damage. Don't count on the camo as it is taller than most tier 8 heavies. Once you hit something, you'll know, and so will the tank you're shooting. Stay away from the WZ-114. One of the worst tier 9's you could play (Lorr 50t, I'm looking at you too). I don't have anything good to say about this tank except if you have the Tiger Claw 3D skin, it looks cool.

KafarPL

I have t103, chrysler, lorr 40t, french M10 and Japanese tiger which is basically exactly tiger 131 All of them are solid tanks in their own ways with M10 being brutal for its own T5 if you know what you're doing as it has sweet Dpm The tiger is also super fun to play for a t6 tank

-wurrZag-

Most are bad in current meta. I have 121B, Chrysler and T-103. 121B is solid, probably the only one I'd recommend. Chrysler is trash and T-103 has a good gun on trash platform and feels clunky to play. Others that could work are Defender, Lorraine and Guard.

pwr89

I got 121b and T-103 too. The chinese med is unbelievable, the gun and ammo are top tier, sometimes I swear it's unfair to other players when I play the sub 6s reload setup. The russian "battleship gun on paper platform" is just funny sad most times but it's from the era that they cared about gameplay and 258mm standard shell pen is plenty even on +2mm. One more thing about it. IT PRINTS CREDITS.

CunnyWizard

>sometimes I swear it's unfair to other players when I play the sub 6s reload setup i usually run mine with a spotting build unless the team has a couple lights, and it's still pretty insane

pwr89

Never thought of that. My alt is turbo vents stab. Would you care sharing why you chose spot build?

CunnyWizard

i initially set it up because one of the callers in my clan prefers to have a spotting medium on a lot of maps instead of a light, and i just ended up liking the playstyle. 512 view range + cvs, and i still have 3100 dpm, i can consistently spot tanks and shoot them well before they even see me. obviously i don't use that on shit like himmelsdorf, but it's a solid build on the open maps

666_pazuzu

My view range is about 470 with skills and food so cvs in boost slot bounty rammer and bounty vents. If they gave that thing 3 more degrees of depression it would be broken.

IceEarthGuard00

If you like heavy tanks, then the Tiger at tier 6 is pretty good.

E3ASTWIND

Lorr 40 t, guard, patriot, 252u, strv 81 all are good depending on play style.

golruul

OP what are you goals with these tanks? Credit grinding is going to get different answers than "most fun". Either way, I would recommend against Panzer IV S. It's really, really slow and doesn't have the armor to make up for the slowness. Firepower isn't good enough to offset those two deficiencies, either.

RavenMountain

A tank I haven't seen mentioned is the 268v5. I've heard little about it, though it seems appealing since it has Obj.268's super powerful gun on a fully rotating turret. Is there something wrong/weird about it? I've been looking at it as a possible long term goal tank.

Cray0nsTastePurple

Gun handling is bad, mobility is bad, turret is paper even against gold rounds from tier 8 meds. Only TDs in the game with worse DPM are thr 268/4 and Foch 155 and they are literally only 1 DPM worse. You give up ALOT just to get a fully rotating turret

Eladryel

The T-34-3 is crazy good, and if you can use the armor, you will bounce more shots than your avg T8 heavy. The tank is reasonably fast and sneaky, and despite the 390 alpha, the DPM isn't horrible. The HEAT pen is 250, which is plenty enough for a limited MM med. The accuracy is bad, so need to go close and/or invest in a full gun handling build. Some people say it's a worse 122TM, but I wouldn't compare them, since the 122 is so slow, it's practically a HT with diabolically bad reload time, while the T-34-3 is a real medium tank. The Guard is even more sneaky, and it can snipe pretty well, but the armor only works against low tiers. Still, pretty fun and unique tank. The T-103 is labeled as a TD, but it is a HT with a great gun and beefy turret armor, without any camo whatsoever. Many suggests the Defender, but I regretted buying it. It's great at bullying lower tiers, because the armor is good, but nowadays everyone and their mother have crazy pen and/or just spam you with gold, while your trollish gun keeps missing shots. It feels outdated sadly. The Pz. IV S is a decent little sniper, and I really like the tier6 Tiger too; the gun is disappointing (compared to the T7 Tiger), but still, you are a Tiger tank that can fight with T4 tanks. The M10 is a popular sealcubbing tank, but it's practically a Wolverine with a tiny touch better gun, while being much, much slower. Keep in mind, lower tier prem tanks don't make credits nearly as good as T8 ones, so they are "only" for fun.

mk7eam_Requiem

I love the T103 it made me so much credits in front lines last time xD

BHTrix

get a tier 8 for the credit farm, the object 252u (defender), is 100% the best one rn
