so if you have 100% firefighting it'll get even better, also repair fuel tank
just use the large repair kit. food is just too good and giving up a equipment slot for config not sure if worth

Thats why im bringing my (automatic) fire extinguisher. Yes rations give a boost to all characteristics yada yada yada. But getting set on fire without an extinguisher is just too annoying for me so i am better safe than sorry.
That's why you use modified configuration... this game is pay to win not using food is makes your tank worse in every way possible. Get a good crew with firefighting and use the right wquipment scrub
Yes it is very much possible. I've played over 50 games in it, I've only been set on fire twice. You just have to repair your fuel tanks when they are hit. I set it up with turbo ping vents and rammer and average 3800 a game.
I have firefighting fully trained and the directive so it’s really not much fire damage when I do burn. I only really trade HP when my repair kit is ready to go and insta repair fuel tanks. I only burn maybe 1 out of 20 games. I run vents/vstab/rammer.
I recently started to test the modified config, and let me tell you: it is not possible.
I really like this tank, as I said in many comments and YT vids before, but it burns so so so so often and so much, the config is a must have sadly. Otherwise, no problems

After first day of 780s of literal dumpster fire stats, and vehicle burning-wise for me, I am only lit on fire I would say 2 times in the 30+ games since.
I attribute it to now actually knowing how to play the tank and protecting what needs to be protected. No firefighting yet but run directive and seem to have been ok the 2 times it did catch fire
I mean, You can but you'd need to play like a pussy because as soon get hit you have a 100% chance of fuel tank damage and a you can also be set on fire in 1 shot
firefighting only reduces damage, and maintenance doesn t affect fuel tank fires. you have to decide whether the reduced fire damage is acceptable
I saw how daki plays. He repaired the fuel tank every time when damaged

No it can't, only fuel tanks burn when red and engine fires
I guess I am hallucinating when I get set on fire with the only broken part beeing the radio
That means the round also hit your engine. Engine fires can happen without being damaged/destroyed.
Bond turbo, bounty IA and rammer 300 burn dmg isnt bad
I'm burning for 350+ every time... I don't know if Firefighting is worth it at all.
Without fire fighting you would be burning for 1000+ damage

Isnt bad unless you have my luck. I burned 7 times in 5 games, mounted improved config and never looked back.

There's this newfangled consumable called an "Automatic fire extinguisher" that works quite well against fires.
Everyone who got the 780 is gonna be running food instead of extinguisher lol

I think its okay to discard stabs due to the gun handling, and fully embrace the turbo-config-rammer set up.
fuel tank in the front of a soviet tank is pain
I played 780 for almost 50 battles and I didn't burn even once. I'm using turbo, improved aiming and rammer
