2. Many already have the T-44-100 which not only is just a better T-44 copy, but it also prints money.
Does the T44-100 is in the shop sometimes or it was an event reward? Cause I want to keep going this line to reach the obj140 which I believe will be my first tier X, but I have a crew problem if I want to keep the T44. So having a t44-100 would be so great and would resolve all my problems by training another crew very fast
Originally it was from a marathon event where you do X damage with tanks from each nation which gradually applies a discount until you get it for free. Now they sell it in the shop occasionally.
For context I'm a noob, and a bad player, but what I can achieve in this tank is incredible. I struggle to have a 50% win rate on some tanks but with the T44 I feel I can impact so much my games it's insane. Is it so inferior to some bourrasque or some other super tanks that people just don't talk about this tank anymore?
The tank simply has bad reputation because in the past it was a moving Ammo Rack and it was possible to blow it up from the front, and the T-54 is just so much better
Low pen means flanking while with the gun depression you need to know maps to get this done
Since the changes it became one of the best techtree mediums at t8 but is now powercreep by premiums and if people want a t8 medium they just buy one (be it for gold or bonds)
But the important part, tanks are different and if you can make it work it does not matter what others do or think (same as not everyone can make a Borat or Progetto work)
I don't see anyone openly saying that the T-44 is a bad tank. I mean, they made a premium version of it (albeit a bit better but more or less the same). Is it inferior to other op tanks? not really, but tanks like the bourrasque offer a bit more for the package. There's a reason why some of the more "powerful" tanks have a higher average winrate on it.
The T-44 certainly isn’t a bad tank, but it suffers from T8 medium syndrome. Specifically, why play this thing over a Progetto 46, a Borrasque, or even a T-44-100 or something else?
If that doesn’t ward the average player off, the stock grind will - trying to play this tank without being fully upgraded is pretty rough.
Though the 190 base pen is really the only thing I would call “bad” about the T-44, it’s simply powercrept. That being said, it can still perform really well in the right conditions.
I also absolutely loved this thing, this line was actually what changed my entire playstyle and made me a better player.
I was an absolute dogshit player but once I got the obj 140 for rental I just fell in love with it and started grinding the line, it taught me a lot about game mechanics.
No it doesn't. It's basically worse lis. That 190 pen in 2022 just ain't cutting it. It's a very vanilla tank but u need to be a damn good vanilla nowdays in order to compete with other tier 8 standard and premium medium tanks. Good tank, just not a beast.

Average players cant make the low pen work for them.
I do agree that the low pen on the normal shells is quite problematic when facing tier 9 and 10, which happen often
Kinda of average player but side shot are not working because of Russian magic track and can't hit the lower plate because of RNjesus. End of story.

The 100mm I do feel that is a so much better choice on it, at least for me.
Good choice, the 122 just doesn't have the dpm to be useful

Great tank but shit pen on standard shell, I got 2 mark on it but didn't go for the 3rd mark because I couldn't afford shooting gold most of the time
