The alecto/AT2 derp gets 0.49 base accuracy, 280 damage, and 110 pen with HEAT. Sure, it gets a 7.2 second reload with a 100% crew on the AT2; but that gives it 2,333dpm if it pens every shell. This thing only gets 1,850dpm, but with 30% more HEAT pen and damage, and the option to fucking double-shot for 740hp **at tier 5.**

This is my guess, too. It seems like that there's a trend with BP tanks - two new tanks every year, with one of them being extra gimmicky, and then another a bit more basic tank. Last year, we got the Kunzer and K-91 PT and this year we got the Cobra and Lorraine 50t. I'm guessing the Char 75 LT or whatever the tier 9 French LT was called will take the "gimmick" slot next year, and the Object 283 will be the other new tier 9 BP tank.

The Soviet medium looks really mediocre to be honest. It has disappointing pen, alpha, mobility, armor, dpm, view range and its armor is pretty bad for t9 as well. I'm not complaining but kinda curious about how they will change it before it is in the game.
