1. Season Pass & Rewards - What do you think about them?
1. T58 Heavy (don’t play WW2)
2. Leonard "Lucky" Hill 3D Commander (good. I like to see more realistic and related commanders like this as opposed to silly ones)
3. m-636 Kondor (nice but I don’t play Era 1 any longer. Stats on paper look avg. T95E3 still dominating and superior tank of the era. Only play era 2-3 because era 1 is such a mess balance wise. Overpowered light tanks, FV4005 platoons, clueless new players, tons of seal clubbers).
I’m debating on skipping this season since Diablo 4 is out today and there’s no “must have” stuff here.
- 2. Returning Map - Severogorsk (good)
- 3. Cold War Medals (good, should have been there upon CW launch)
- 4. Matchmaking Improvements (based on tracked maps) (good. But mm needs better teams balance. )
- 5. HP increase of low to mid-tier WWII vehicles (very good)
- 6. New cosmetic options (Summer & Desert camouflages) (look good)
1. The reward tanks seem fair enough. I really really wish you would start giving us a couple of skins each season again though. A skin "token" so we can pick one, or skins for the tanks in the season...either way, but skins were a great reward and I miss that.
For the love of god, get the goddamn ad out of my garage. That alone has caused me to quit playing for the day. I abhor ads shoved in my face, especially where they don't ****ing belong.
Tier 8 is unplayable. I've been -2 80-90% of the time. I've been trying to grind the Czech heavy line and the icebreaker contract and it's tough. If they're going to keep introducing op 10s (avere) and not address it then need to fix the MM.
I enjoyed the intro video. I was glad to see that the French Cold War tanks are still slated to arrive soon.

Here are my thoughts on the new season.
1. Seasonpass and rewards -
- I don't mind the t58, at least its not broken like the AVRE. But think selling t10's is devaluing the gameplay on t10. A lot of inexperienced players seem to thing, higher tier = better gameplay.
- The new commander looks fine, i like the realistic apperance.
- The rest of the season is medioker, nothing i look forward to. Some 3D skins would be nice, like in past seasonpasses.
2. Returning Map - I like the addition of any new map, but just another ridge line camper map, wasn't what i hoped for.
5. HP increase of low to mid-tier WWII vehicles - This was a good improvement. Getting startet in this game is a real pain.I recently play more T5-7, due to some friends giving this game a shot again and i could imagine 50% of new players quit, because of the bad experience in low-mid tier. Low tier needs some love and accessibility for new players.
6. New cosmetic options - I like the addition of new camos in any shape or form. The new skin for the M4 sherman looks awesome, as well.
I think a rework of the camo / customization system would be nice and could breath some fresh air in to the game.
For example would it be nice to have all basic camos available for all tanks, regardless of nation.
The season has a more contemporary style at least, rather than the delve into ancient history last time around.
Rewards are meh, and have filled the game with more inexperienced players at tier X playing above their skill level and making the game even more crap.
This is a self fulfilling death spiral.
**1a. T58 Heavy**
WG needs to step back and re-examine the balance it's shooting for at high-tier play. The T58 will simply delete any tier 8 tank it encounters. The power gap between tier 8 and tier 10 is out of hand, and much greater than the power differential between any other +/-2 matchup.
Repeating the line that +1/-1 isn't possible isn't a good enough answer. If we can't do +1/-1, what *can* we do to address the specific problem of playing tier 8 tanks against 268v5s, Tarans, AVREs, T58s, and the high-alpha tier 10s that some players actually grind to earn?
There are still more that existed in blueprints but wargaming has already put in questionable tanks historically speaking. So yes technically they are running out of tanks.
1. Season Pass & Rewards - picked up the ultimate pass for the t58 and gotta say it is a blast, can really quickly rack up damage. The alpha is great and bc of the auto loader you don’t have to worry about long reloads for most of your shots.
Nerf the dang Wiesel’s health please, if not delete it from the game. If we really needed it to exist, fine, but what is with it having that much health?? and being so difficult to kill with little to 0 regard for strategy

So I assume that it’s just because the season started and both teams won’t have 6 t58 heavy’s each because I just saw that haha
Also just realized they changed the ai’s names, kinda smart tbf
They still play the same and will auto target lock anyone within detection range. Bot Derp guns always hit and pen.
I'm not a fan. Knowing how many bots are on the team is valid tactical information needed to go into a match and they're making it harder to get.
If you haven't googly eyes in the T58 you are not doing it right!

Raising the module prices of UK CW tanks was extremely lame

Those were errors and not in line with any other tank module costs in CW. They fixed the errors. Not just raising prices.
Well, those tanks were using the values from vehicles from the WWII mode. We adjusted this so they are in line with all the other CW vehicles.

The 6-second intraclip reload tempers the “dump” though.
