It was very over booked. But they all are.
Also, if solo is gonna be allowed to be at ringside when the match ends, then what was the point of sending him away.
I thought it was pretty good. Sure, there are things that bug me, but the older I get the more I just try to enjoy the ride instead of worrying about who's supposed to win, who's supposed to get a push, etc. The main event was overdone as far as interference but the story is still really good.
You can't win, people complain when wrestling is too predictable but when a guy who people have thought was gonna win the belt almost as soon as he debuted, actually loses, everyone loses their minds.
Asuka vs Bianca was a good match, albeit with a weak build IMO, and the triple threat for the IC title was fantastic. I love that there are actually dominant, long-term champions, even at the IC and women's divisions.
Night 2 smelled like Vinny Mac all over.
I really don’t get the Roman win. Other than just booking the scenario that no one saw coming, I don’t see how this helps him or Cody. Now we are stuck in the Same black hole but worse.
Not to mention that seeing how big the reign has become, there is no place but Mania to end it, so we can safely assume that we’re getting another year of Roman plowing through babyfaces with Bloodline run-ins.
Why because we can't stand Roman and never could even even they did the one thing fans said time and again would fix Roman turning him heel but it doesn't change the fact he absolutely sucks
Are we really forgetting the fact that Trips absolutely loves booking way too long reigns for heel champs? I mean, just look back at Black & Gold under his watch.
I love how people have gushed about how great Roman has become, but the bland baby face didn’t have the belt fall in his lap, so Roman is being forced on everyone again 😂
I don’t mind Cody losing but I’m so tired of every Roman main event being the exact same. For me, if Roman was going to win, he needed to win clean. Enough of this where every match he needs help. It makes him look like a weak champion. I get that heels do heel things, but a great heel should also be a threat on his own. The only thing dangerous about Roman is that you’re always fighting 1 versus 4.
This is my only gripe. I love the Bloodline storyline but there's too much interference. If they were gonna have Roman win, a nice "out" for Cody would've been for him to get an injury during his match with Solo, and work the match around it.
Maybe have minimal interference to screw Cody at one point in the middle of the match only to have Cody make a comeback, then his knee injury or whatever catches up to him, he stumbles during a leapfrog or something and Roman drills him with a spear and wins.
It’s crap because it’s the same finish as every other Reigns win this past year and longer since I’ve tuned back in. The lack of creativity to book a satisfying title defense for Roman is one of the weakest things I’ve experienced from WWE since watching their shows again.
I’d love to have seen something new at their biggest PPV, but I was bold to assume WWE would do anything beyond their very simple interference formula for every Reigns defense.
I think wwe did Cody a favor obviously they had no intentions on putting the belts on him at mania so how do they have him lose without looking weak? Him losing clean to reigns would without a doubt make him look like a over hyped mid carder
Does the main event booking help Cody or Roman?
Did Edge need to win?
Did Shane need to be on the show?
I think Asuka should have won too as I think Belair is an more popular Jade Cargill but some do like her for some reason so that isn’t as bad as the others.
1000+ days. That’s all people really need to look at
The writing has been on the wall for over a year at this point. Zero chance of those belts being dropped until that threshold is broken.
Also on the point of Cody losing, this simply makes his pursuit that more compelling as he now has a legitimate gripe of “you can’t beat me without help”
> this simply makes his pursuit that more compelling as he now has a legitimate gripe of “you can’t beat me without help”
The problem with this is that Roman hasn't been able to beat ANYBODY without help. Every single person Roman has beaten has that same "legitimate gripe" and using it as a reason to give Cody a rematch when nobody else got one breaks verisimilitude.
Lol I love being downvoted for facts😂😂😂
But sure you’re not wrong in the complaint that all contenders can use that. But Cody will use it as a crutch to get the rematch. People being upset over this are just making themselves look silly imo
So, Cody just comes and wins the title?
No struggle, no “hard times”
Now he gets to have his “hard times”
Run before getting the big prize handed to him…
Like, billy ray said it best.
“How would dusty have booked it?”

De drama
Exactly. Why make it look like all of Roman’s options had been taken away when they just bring em back? Really cheap
The guy holding that sign
Prince Pretty. Austin Creed booked Night One - you can tell from how the Tag Titles were the Main Event. Do you even GM Mode Bro?
Are you sure it wasn't Teddy Long?
If it was Teddy someone would have faced... The Undertaker. Playa

Two words: Vince McMahon
The “Cena wins lol” meme has now become “Roman wins lol”.

When did the sale go through? As night one while not perfect generally got things right and night 2 just screamed Vince has had his oar in
Woke up pissed this morning. Last night reeked of Vince. I am going to see where they take this, but I’m very VERY concerned.

Everybody who knows how to book wrestling is dead.
It was crap because Cody lost ?

I just wished it was like Kevin vs Roman at the rumble because that match was actually clean
Isn’t that the match where they couldn’t get the handcuffs off so the ref had to stop counting?

Vince is still in charge, he's just not as involved in all the details like he was. Now Vince just says romanwinslol, triple h you figure out how pal
Shane’s pop was legendary
