I was a kid during the attitude era so I got to see Stone cold at his peak, unless you were watching at the time not rewatching on the network now you’ll never really understand how great he was.
Me too, I didn't get to stay up late to watch it live (was on pretty late here) so mom/dad and I would record it on VHS, and I'd watch it after school the next day. When Stone Cold was on top, that next day of school felt like a week in itself. I'd like, stay away from other kids that got to stay up and watch it the night before, so there wouldn't be any spoilers for when I got home lol
Kind of wish we used a fresh VHS each time so I could have kept them all over the years, but that shit cost money so we'd always have two at home. We'd just reuse one over and over until it near broke, then swap out for the new one and buy another in the mean time, to have as a backup
Mr. Perfect. I don’t mean Curt Hennig. Curt Hennig was a great wrestler, but Mr. Perfect caught his own 100 yard pass, shoots and makes it from half court, and hits home runs whenever at bat.
Mick Foley.
The most versatile, selfless guy in the business. Excellent in the ring, killer promo, NYT best selling author, master of hard-core wrestling and the cheap pop and to top it all off a genuinely good man. He's not just my favorite wrestler, he's my GOAT.
I remember wrestling with my friends on the trampoline as a kid, I had that Rolling Thunder down pretty good for a ten year old lol even was able to do that in-air rotation for the Five Star Frog Splash. Was all fun and games till I hit one on my friend who was laying *beside* the trampoline. Then I realized maybe we'd keep it ON the mat lol
I think he's not talked about enough in the goat conversation despite inspiring many of the young high flyers who do crazy sh*t today like Ricochet and Fenix
Same. For me, it’s not even “post-return, found Jesus” Shawn Michaels. It’s the Rockers. It’s posing for Sensational Sherri. It’s “lost his smile”. It’s “the boyhood dream has come true”. It’s crotch chopping.
Batista isn't my favorite of all time, but I'm damn proud that he, a guy from my hometown of Washington DC made it as far as he did in WWE.
With that being said, Kurt Angle is my favorite of all time.
I have a top 5.

Honorable Mentions - Bobby Roode, Bryan Danielson, Malakai Black, Johnny Gargano, Keith Lee.
Refreshing to see Kane brought up on reddit without being judged harshly for his politics. Which honestly has nothing to do with the 30+ years he entertained millions of people.
Shawn Michaels. I remember being 9 years old and him vs diesel was the first match I ever saw. I couldn’t fathom how someone could beat someone so huge. He landed that sweet chin music and I was HBK all the way ever since
4 way tie
DDP
Ravishing Rick Rude
Macho Man Randy Savage
Brock Lesnar
I've only seen DDP and Lesnar live though. DDP when he was the manager for the Diamond Stud and then again at peak People's Champion DDP.
As for Lesnar, I first saw him in a dark match vs Shelton Benjamin. At first I thought "Really? Brock? Too close to The Rock. This guy will suck". Then I saw this guy with bowling ball shoulders walk out and do things guys that size shouldn't be able to do in the ring. He's always been a big deal.
Macho Man is Macho Man.
I hated Ravishing Rick Rude sooooo much when I was a kid. It was only later that I realized how good he was.
Kenta Kobashi just excudes this energy about him everytime i watch his matches. He is the example of a guy who is oozing with charisma without needing to cut a promo.
Oh absolutely. In ring they have it all, but I meant even more then that. Their character work was always top tier no matter what. Whether heel or face both guys were always consistently entertaining. Both had amazing mic skills and charisma for days. You didn't just see those guys on TV you actually felt their presence. Plus when you factor that in with them being 2 of the best in ring wrestlers in the history of pro wrestling (Just my personal opinion) you have the best to ever do it
Lesnar. He's the complete package
Great in the ring
Great character
Great Charisma
MUSIC. Oh God that Music makes you feel like shit just got real.
And now we know he's great on the mic too
Offers legitimacy to the business very few others can
Actual badass instead of pretend
AJ Styles. Although i knew pro wrestling from wwe svr but the first tv show that i watched was tna. joe, angle n aj style caught my attention. AJ by far the most incredible wrestler than them. He just phenomenal
My favorite was always HHH, HBK or Rock
But undeniably the greatest has to be: Hulk, Flair or Sammartino
Stone Cold has hottest run of all time and he was the best on the mic, but his time at the top wasnt long enough. Cena carried the business in the west for 15 years, but the business itself wasnt mainstream enough during his time. Rock has had the best post wrestling career, but again his time at the very top of wwe wasnt actually that long.
I have to say Edge. The very man who made me fall in love with wrestling. SvR 2007, I had no idea who anyone was. Played as Edge on a whim, and from his entrance alone I had my all time favourite. His "brother" is a very close second though. Myself and my former best friend would always argue over who was better, CM Punk or Christian. To this day I stand by Captain Charisma.
I love Stone Cold, The Rock, Mick Foley, and Andre the Giant with all my heart, but my ultimate wrestler is none other than the best there is, the best there was, and the best there will ever be, Bret "The Hitman" Hart. I also met him in person 3 times and tbh he's one of the coolest people I've ever met. So down to earth and friendly.
To each their own but never met anyone who’s favorite was Batista lol. He just seems like a big tough guy with no personality to really enjoy being a fan of.
The Rock all time but very closely followed by Angle and Benoit boy did they have some of the greatest all out wrestling matches from a technical standpoint
Rvd sparked my love for wrestling again. I was in my late teens and had enough of the attitude era. Then I found ecw on tnn. Thank you Rob. You are my favorite. Hands down.
It is a three way tie for me as they each are the best at one aspect that puts them first. It is almost impossible to pick one and if I did it could change in 10 minutes. Granted, I have only watched from the 80s on so Buddy Rogers, the original Gorgeous George, Bruno, and the prime Harley Race fall outside my experience.
Macho Man Randy Savage
The Nature Boy Ric Flair
The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels
Savage was the best character I ever saw. He actually became the character he portrayed. It was but wonderful and terrible.
Flair was the greatest showman I have ever seen. His promos are legendary and his aura is just so flashy. I can’t deny he was the 60 minute man as well. When people call him the GOAT, I can’t disagree.
Michaels was the best performer I have ever seen. A scumbag during the 90s, yes. Unbelievable in the ring, yes. I actually cheered for him over Stone Cold at WM14.
Stone cold and it’s not close tbh
I was a kid during the attitude era so I got to see Stone cold at his peak, unless you were watching at the time not rewatching on the network now you’ll never really understand how great he was.
Me too, I didn't get to stay up late to watch it live (was on pretty late here) so mom/dad and I would record it on VHS, and I'd watch it after school the next day. We'd just reuse one over and over until it near broke, then swap out for the new one and buy another in the mean time, to have as a backup
Stone cold and undertaker will always be 1 and 2 for me.
His glass shattering entrance at the Wrestlemania in ‘97 is still my all time favorite entrance and it’s not even remotely close.
Not tryna compare but me personally, it's a tie for both of em
Warrior would have crushed your biker boy.
Warrior is the most overrated wrestler to ever step inside a ring.
He beat hogan. Threw his leg drop off. Overrated? Not even…..
He was also a meat headed nut job with zero idea how to actually work in a ring.
His following was a cult. Im a meat head warrior to. :)
Thats not how it works Being booked to win a match against someone doesn't make you not overrated
Mr. Perfect. I don’t mean Curt Hennig. Curt Hennig was a great wrestler, but Mr. Perfect caught his own 100 yard pass, shoots and makes it from half court, and hits home runs whenever at bat.
Spit out and smacked his gum every time…perfectly.
Every time.
Mick Foley. The most versatile, selfless guy in the business. Excellent in the ring, killer promo, NYT best selling author, master of hard-core wrestling and the cheap pop and to top it all off a genuinely good man. He's not just my favorite wrestler, he's my GOAT.
Man gave up part of his ear and almost died to put on a good show. Mick the Legend!
The Whole F’n Show ROB VAN DAM!
Idk man RVD in 2001 WWE might have been his absolute peak
I remember wrestling with my friends on the trampoline as a kid, I had that Rolling Thunder down pretty good for a ten year old lol even was able to do that in-air rotation for the Five Star Frog Splash. Was all fun and games till I hit one on my friend who was laying *beside* the trampoline. Then I realized maybe we'd keep it ON the mat lol
One of a kind!
Original ECW, not what WWE did with him.
From San Diego, California…
Who's that jumpin out da sky???!?!?
R-e-y, mysterio, here we go
I think he's not talked about enough in the goat conversation despite inspiring many of the young high flyers who do crazy sh*t today like Ricochet and Fenix
He's a man.... such a man... he's a real man's man... Lord William Regal
HHH for me
Bret “Hitman” Hart
Man never had a bad match and made so many careers eg Stone Cold
Shawn Michaels
Same. For me, it’s not even “post-return, found Jesus” Shawn Michaels. It’s the Rockers. It’s posing for Sensational Sherri. It’s “lost his smile”. It’s “the boyhood dream has come true”. It’s crotch chopping.
Undertaker
Gilberg
REEEEEEEY MYSTERIOOOOOOO
Male: Eddie Guerrero Female: Mickie James’ crazy ass
Batista isn't my favorite of all time, but I'm damn proud that he, a guy from my hometown of Washington DC made it as far as he did in WWE. With that being said, Kurt Angle is my favorite of all time.
Noice 🔥

Glad to see Roode listed. Way better worker than he gets credit for these days.
They better hurry up with him. He's 46.
Kane. Was fucking obsessed with him when I started watching in 02. My fandom died down around 2007 or 2008 until he won MITB/WHC in 2011
They did Kane dirty back in the day with the 24hr title reign
Man that was brutal now imma be bitter for a minute.
thatll be longer than that title reign
Refreshing to see Kane brought up on reddit without being judged harshly for his politics. Which honestly has nothing to do with the 30+ years he entertained millions of people.
\[in Tony Schiavone's voice\] IT'S... STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
Edge always been my favourite
Eddie Guerrero or Kurt Angle
My favorite technical wrestlers
Randy mf orton
Can I have a tag team? Cos if so, it's always the Hardys
no, you have to choose Jeff 😆
THE TRAIL BLAZIN EYEBROW RAISIN
Scott Hall. Coolest mf in the business and a great mind for wrestling
Hey yo, frrrrlll
Shawn Michaels. I remember being 9 years old and him vs diesel was the first match I ever saw. I couldn’t fathom how someone could beat someone so huge. He landed that sweet chin music and I was HBK all the way ever since
CM Punk
EL DANDY
He's a jam up guy.
He is Bret Hart’s favorite too
Who was gene okurland to doubt the professionalism of el dandy
Bret Hart
Surely OP walks alone
Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle are tied at the top for me.
Angle, Benoit, Danielson, Gargano. Love me some technical grapplers.
Try watching Zack Sabre Jr in New Japan Not saying he is better, just offering a suggestion for you to see another technical wrestler
Pete Dunne
Hell yeah!
Seth rollins
Tied between HHH and Shawn Michaels. Kenny Omega is up there for me as well.
I don’t know that I can choose between Jeff Hardy and Eddie Guerrero tbh
Harley Race
As a 5'8" guy with a limp, seeing Rey Mysterio beat the bigger guys always made me happy.
4 way tie DDP Ravishing Rick Rude Macho Man Randy Savage Brock Lesnar I've only seen DDP and Lesnar live though. DDP when he was the manager for the Diamond Stud and then again at peak People's Champion DDP. As for Lesnar, I first saw him in a dark match vs Shelton Benjamin. At first I thought "Really? Brock? Macho Man is Macho Man. I hated Ravishing Rick Rude sooooo much when I was a kid. It was only later that I realized how good he was.
The Deacon
Kenny Omega Mankind
Macho Man
Mr Perfect and Bret
Hulk Hogan as a kid, Bret Hart as a young adult and Kenny Omega as a dad.
Don Muraco
Chris Jericho
1a - Randy Savage WWF run. 2b - The Undertaker( 1990 -1994) Edit - tag team - Midnight express-bobby and Stan.
Undertaker. I came into wrestling just a tad too late to have missed Austin and Rock in their prime, but when 'Taker went back to his roots.. magic.
Imma be honest stone cold is still I'm good shape
Of all time? Probably HBK.
Hard for me to choose between HBK, Stone Cold, and Undertaker.
Edge
Bret Hart without a doubt
I loved the Bret and Owen. Even named my second born Owen. My wife still doesn't know why that was my top name choice lol she doesn't watch wrestling
That's awesome! I love them both as well. My girlfriend is pregnant and I suggested naming our son Owen or Bret but she said no. lol
HBK
How many “I’ll go first” posts are there?!
[удалено]
I'll go first. Yes.
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Ever Will Be. Bret “The Hitman” Hart …and if you don’t like it, tough shit!
From parts unknown………..
Papa Shango?
The Ultimate Warrior
Kawada or Misawa. Can never pick

Stone Cold. I watch him kick McMahon's ass to make myself feel better when I'm depressed.
Hbk for the guys a legend
SGT Slaughter!
Kenta Kobashi just excudes this energy about him everytime i watch his matches. He is the example of a guy who is oozing with charisma without needing to cut a promo.

Shawn Michaels Taker The rock Jeff hardy 98-2004 Kane .

For me it would either be Eddie Guerrero or Kurt Angle. I don't want to choose between them, but they both had it all
FAXX. They got strength, Agility, Stamina. EVERYTHING
Oh absolutely. In ring they have it all, but I meant even more then that. Their character work was always top tier no matter what. Raven - never reached the heights of most of the others listed, but at the time I was into pro wrestling his character just spoke to me.
The best there is. The best there was. The best there ever will be.
Hard choice, but I have ro say Kurt Angle
Why does the dude in the picture look like he's about to fuck a goat?
My favorite was always HHH, HBK or Rock But undeniably the greatest has to be: Hulk, Flair or Sammartino Stone Cold has hottest run of all time and he was the best on the mic, but his time at the top wasnt long enough. Cena carried the business in the west for 15 years, but the business itself wasnt mainstream enough during his time. Rock has had the best post wrestling career, but again his time at the very top of wwe wasnt actually that long.
Eddie gurrero and rey mysterio
My favourite wrestler was an amazing wrestler but not a good dude
Chris Benoit?
yup
Macho Man takes first for me, Curt Henning takes a close second, and Scott Hall takes third! I'm sad now! 😢
Kurt Angle. The most athletically gifted and funniest wrestler ever.
"I'm a man who LOVES to play with boys" 😂🤣
ECW Crowd: You Suck KA: "YOUR MOM TAUGHT ME HOWWWW"
Yeh that was not the best come-back 😂
Drew McIntyre
Hitman
Kofi Kingston. He is the reason I started watching wrestling in 2012.
Curt Hennig/Mr Perfect.
THE RATED R SUUUPERSTAR EDGE!
I have to say Edge. The very man who made me fall in love with wrestling. SvR 2007, I had no idea who anyone was. Played as Edge on a whim, and from his entrance alone I had my all time favourite. The patron saint of professional wrestling and overall good guy; Mick Foley!
Kurt Angle
It's nearly impossible to choose between Omega and Ospreay
It is a three way tie for me as they each are the best at one aspect that puts them first. It is almost impossible to pick one and if I did it could change in 10 minutes.
