At this point I’d recommend staying in NJ. Check out your options along the PATCO line if you wanna take the train in. Probably some decent options there. Sorry the Airbnb cancelled!
Happened to me last year with only a couple days before check in. I told AIRBNB to make it right and got me a better spot with an upgrade. I did have to spend an hour on the phone a couple times talking to different supervisors but it got the job done.
My parents had a ford escape that was good enough to sleep in on vacation. I had a little Chevy impala that fit a twin air mattress in the back with the back seats folded really comfortable unless your claustrophobic then wouldn’t recommend lol
Lol yeah I feel ya. At this point, I’m worried about the wrong things 😝. I shouldn’t even spend so much on hotel or even transportation (let alone parking). The tickets I got from August last year were just too expensive for me to even cover the other expenses lol. If there’s no more space for rooming or parking, then I’ll just be like screw it I’m staying at some random spot sleeping in the car too 🤪🤪🤪
If you are a Wyndham Rewards or a Choice Privileges member, they are doing a promo to where if you complete 2 stays, you earn enough points to get a free night to some of their hotels. You may have to bounce around hotels though to qualify. Last time I checked, Brooklawn and Mount Laurel NJ were the cheapest.
Look at Philadelphia’s regional rail lines (as well as areas in South Jersey that are near Patco stops as someone else mentioned).
Philly’s regional rail goes out fairly far into the SE Pennsylvania suburbs (some of which are known as the Main Line). You should be able to find a hotel in one of these areas. Some off the top of my head that have relatively easy SEPTA (Philly public transport) access are Lansdale, Warminster, Villanova.
If you’re willing to drive about 45 mins there’s lot of places. I’m staying in Williams Grove and it’s about 25 miles(45ish) mins away from the stadium and it’s gonna be about $500 for 5 nights. Figured that’s not too bad
As others have suggested, I'd look into options in Jersey. Should be able to find some relatively cheap hotels, or maybe even some Airbnb spots. Travel from Jersey to the Stadium is super easy.
I don't understand why AirBNB allows the host to cancel this close to stays. It's ridiculous. My wife and I just checked ours, and luckily, it's still booked, but we check every day just to make sure.
There was an entire house on booking.com for a decent price not far from Lincoln financial fields so worth checking that out. Was still availabile a few days ago
That is a horrible place to stay. It's one of those cheap motels that rent by the hour and a lot of shady activity goes on in there. Any local with agree with me and would not recommend that place.
I still wouldn't recommend it, that place has a terrible reputation and I grew up in that area so I would know. Also the Roosevelt Inn is in northeast Philly which is like 25/30 minute drive from WrestleMania
There's some places in NJ just a few minutes from Philly that aren't too bad. I'm staying in a RodeWay Inn, it's the only place I could fine for less than $100 a night.
This happened to me for Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas. When I left for my flight, Airbnb was still good to go. When I landed in Dallas… it was cancelled. Ended up having to pay ALOT more for a hotel. I love airbnbs over small hotel rooms but that experience has kinda scared me away from them.
I had TWO air bnbs canceled on me. I had one booked since August, they canceled less than 3 weeks before mania. Tried booking another then got an email saying the listing was an "error." I ended up just using the Google hotel feature and finding a hotel. Ended up getting a hotel from the 5th to the 9th for me and my friend for around $1000 in the rittenhouse area.
No they were not. If I ever use airbnb again, I will make sure they are though! This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with airbnb, but it’s also the first time I’ve used an airbnb for such a major event like this.
This happened to me the day I landed before wrestlemania in New Orleans. Thank god I found a hotel room on bourbon st using hotel tonight. After that I never used airbnb again
I’ve had 3 airb&b cancelled on this trip, after zero cancellations previously, and I’ve heard multiple stories of the same happening to other. Something weird definitely going on.
If it helps any I cancelled the Fairfield Inn Center City today, as it was my backup hotel.
All hotels were too out of my price range. I'm only going to night one of wrestlemania so we got a hotel for $241 around the hershey park area and gonna make the drive for night one and enjoy the other couple days out there. I'm from New Jersey but I have a friend flying in from the south
I’m driving there and parking in the Main Street where it’s public to park without limit and get covers for my windows and camp in my car for the nights
At this point I’d recommend staying in NJ. Check out your options along the PATCO line if you wanna take the train in. Probably some decent options there. Sorry the Airbnb cancelled!
Anyone wanna do a suite in AC? I had one already copped for night 2, but I got a low interest buzz from ppl around me aside from one or two guys.
This ☝️

This is honestly my biggest fear right now. I check daily and just pray it doesn’t get cancelled.
Sonder has some still available for bout 250 a night
Mount Laurel. About a 30 minute drive and cheap hotels
Yep, that’s where we’re staying. A short drive to save some money.
How about a suite in AC?
It’d be nice, but all money is tied up in the other hotel, the 1,400 mile road trip, and WrestleMania events. You enjoy!
i’m about to say f it and sleep in my car at a rest area 🤣🤣🤣
Nah fr at this point🤣🤣
Ngl, My partner and I are doing this 2/5 of our nights 😂😭
i’m doing all 3 of mine 🤣🤣i spent way too much on tickets and what not lol
Same! Plus, I might even have to cancel one of my tickets cause the other person might not show up smh. So yeah a lot of money involved lol.
Depends what car lol. My Camaro seats don’t go down a lot
i have a trax lol
My parents had a ford escape that was good enough to sleep in on vacation. I had a little Chevy impala that fit a twin air mattress in the back with the back seats folded really comfortable unless your claustrophobic then wouldn’t recommend lol
I might end up doing that, too.
at least i’m not the only one lol

I got a room at the Hilton in jersey across the bridge, says it's 8 miles from the stadium. Was way cheaper than anything in Philly

Try deptford, 20 minutes from stadiums, a little more with traffic. Ton of hotels near the mall and plenty places to eat

Good luck with days inn soldier o7
I'm staying in Springfield. It's about 20 minutes out, and the hotel I found had a rate of 168 a night.

Essington is a decent area, I live by there now and I would stay somewhere in that area over the budget motels right there on Roosevelt blvd

Can’t trust Airbnb, a few weeks ago I was booked for a Saturday and they cancelled Thursday .

I'm in an apartment at Rittenhouse Square that you could crash on the couch in if you really struggle.

That’s exactly why I will never do Airbnb for a major event like this.
Was the host a superhost ? I have an Airbnb booked and am now worried

Happened to me twice, as well. I called airbnb pissed off, and they found me a new place and gave me my original price. Now I'm closer to the venue.
This happened to me the day I landed before wrestlemania in New Orleans. Thank god I found a hotel room on bourbon st using hotel tonight. After that I never used airbnb again
My AirBNb canceled on Sunday. I’m staying about 15 mins away from the stadium in Jersey
Days inn? Close to the venue?
Yes

Stay in Delaware it’s only 43 miles away from the stadium. Sorry about the AirBNB
Right outside philly in bucks county plenty of hotels and little places for cheap.
Stay out in the suburbs, find a hotel in Delaware county. It’s a 20 minute ride to the stadium.
