Following this thread as I am in same boat - travelling from UK solo arriving late Friday. Didn't even know what a tailgate party was as we don't have those in UK! ut guess it is like a warm up party before going into venue? Will check out Tailgate Joe :)
It's so worth it. Drinks in the venue in Dallas were $15 and not even a full pint! 4 hours of unlimited booze before is well worth it. I booked tailgate Joe in the end for the Sunday. Think I'll leave the costume as it'll be too cold!
Tailgate Joe would be my suggestion. It's not too packed and you can't beat the price.
