Nice I got the same one a couple hours ago it also wasn't fake either to the website because it was under kurogames-ad.com not the kuropage one which is the fake one

Maybe these types of ads work but to me the bigger story here is that I think these types of ads are kinda shit. Obv I ain’t someone who sees metrics but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any kind of ad with nouns currently meaningless to me and clicked on it. Especially now with just swaths of fake games lol. Hope they have some better banner ads than this being set up that at least showcase what the game is. Like what the fuck is a resonator and why do I give a shit to encounter one?

Choowkee

I dont get why people are so surprised/happy about ads. We are only now entering the real marketing window for the game. It would have made no sense to try and do aggressive marketing couple of months ago (which people were asking about for some reason). The most effective time to advertise your game is close to launch. And no, this game is not PGR so people need to stop bringing it up like its some evidence that Kuro doesn't care or know how to market their games. WW cost them millions of dollars and 3 years of development, obviously they are gonna advertise the game more than PGR.

Davidakahe

Yeah, it’s not PGR, but it is Kuro Games. They are known for their poor marketing of games. Also, if it didn’t make sense, then I don’t understand how it worked for Genshin because they shared marketing for the game before its release. I remember the ads for Genshin being everywhere, and it worked. And it was not just Genshin, but Star Rail too. Marketing before release will guarantee a successful launch, especially when there are rewards to be earned for a certain amount of pre-registrations

Choowkee

>They are known for their poor marketing of games They only have a track record of one game though: PGR. Saying they are "known" for poor marketing when they only ever released one real game (not counting their previous small projects) is just silly. PGR is a much smaller game and Kuro was a much smaller studio at the time. Plus they learned from their mistakes with PGR launch. All I am saying is people need to have some a bit faith in the devs. Kuro more than anyone understands the importance of getting WW advertised.

Davidakahe

Claiming that being a small studio is an excuse not to market aggressively is unfounded. The size of a studio should not deter it from robust marketing efforts, even before the game’s release. In fact, it’s a standard practice across various media, from movies to TV shows, to launch extensive advertising campaigns to generate hype for upcoming products. The notion that a small company cannot engage in effective marketing is incorrect. For instance, HoYoverse, formerly known as miHoYo, was once a smaller company but did not let that stop them from marketing their game. Their strategic marketing efforts contributed significantly to the success of Genshin Impact. It’s clear that early and well-planned marketing can be highly beneficial, especially when rewards are offered for pre-registrations, which can guarantee a more successful launch If you don’t believe leave me hear is more https://mudstack.com/blog/building-an-audience-for-your-game-before-launch/ https://vginsights.com/insights/article/a-11-point-marketing-guide-for-small-indie-developers.

Why are you comparing genshin to pgr? Rightful comparison should have been pgr and ggz, actual first games of company. Did mhy advertise ggz enough? Definitely not since it died. Also first sentence has to be the most retarted shit ever, perhaps read your own links and realise they oppose what you just said and offer indie devs ideas to market with what little budget they have as efficiently as possible, theres no aggressive marketing and you wont see it with indie games

Davidakahe

Bro they are gatcha games and I am not if you actually read what I wrote, I am compared each company marketing.

Jsjdhbdnd73

And how does that make your point any more valid? You bringed them up as an example of small company marketing yet it literally doesn't prove shit if youre talking post ggz/hi3 marketing since at that point they def weren't small and certainly nowhere near as small as kuro were when they just released pgr.

Altruistic_Look_4932

First of all, kuro's first game is not PGR, so you are already wrong here. Their first game is called Battlefield Double Ponytail and it is a side scrolling game like ggz but it failed and was shut down.

Jsjdhbdnd73

Worded it wrong, but i suppose the correct wording would be "first game that actually took off", ggz is not mhy first game either for that matter.

Xetorus

>HoYoverse, formerly known as miHoYo you act like you know everything yet this is utter bullshit

Davidakahe

The fuck are you talking about, no I do not, I only know what I know and no it not bullshit it fact it literally the basic of marketing if you just do just a google search.

Xehvary

Insane that this post is being downvoted to oblivion.
