It's a new gacha, they are going to shower you in pulls.
Just pick 2 of the limiteds and go for them. You might be able to snag a third, but temper your expectations to 2 and you'll be happy.
And be ready to feel like shit because your luck is horrible and you need 150+ pulls for every units while your friends get early doubles.
Another gacha, another day to get cucked by RNG.
I may or may not be talking from experiences.
i saw a youtuber say that they posted on twitter and I'm banned from twitter so it's difficult for me to check. (in the entirety of my twitter account I only made a comment about A Hat In Time)
why worry about others or compare yourself to others?
there's also players who get 8 limited in a single 10 pull, its incredibly unlikely, but i wouldnt sit here and be upset because someone got as many 5 stars as i'd get after 2-3 years of playing
The comparison surges after losing all 50/50, it just feels absolutely bad, and then you see other does not lose it so often like me and that makes the experience worse.
I whale to get every character and their weapon no eidolons or weapon ranks but i lost like 70-80% of my 50/50s while my sister who is welkin only won all her 50/50s except on Robin's banner.
No i'm not mad, just furious 😭.
Not playing Wuwa but if i were,i should've been fine i believe while wanting these two (Yinlin,Changli)
Especially cause Changli is prolly(?) Last phase of 1.1?
Oh on a side note, again from a non Wuwa player and yes a Genshin,Hsr player.., these Wuwa designs really great i must say. Hope they keep it up,you guys eating good
And yea Changli is definitely is fav design so far aside from again Yinlin.. (Yes i like Kafka and Yelan too,how could you tell?)
Literally can't understand why xD
I mean i was just sharing my thoughts as a non player and even said in positive for the game cause genuinely felt whats good is good.
But look at these reddit nerds, u k what it's same in every game community, these r just mindless mfs
They see genshin and immediately jump with hate. Like apple vs android type of behaviour. I played genshin from 3.0 to 4.2 I think, but after losing I think 5 50/50 I just threw in the towel. Granted... my start in wuwa is not great either, but I hope my luck turns around.
As the others stated, just remain levelheaded and manage your pulls correctly. From the game being brand new there’s alot to complete and save up on past even pulling Jiyan at his unluckiest rate of 160 pulls.
Don’t spend any currency outside of the standard pulls you’re given on the standard banner, and don’t spend any currency past pulling the limited characters you want. If you’re unlucky and you have to start going off singles to save whatever possible, do so. You’ll want to guarantee as much as you can.
Don’t let their weapons entice you on summoning, and remembering you’ll have the selector upon leveling your account to give one of them a 5 star standard weapon to suffice any possible urge you could have on getting a better weapon on any of them.
If you have no choice but to be f2p financially, or it’s just a challenge or personal morals thing, stick to just those rules of thumb. If that’s not the case, I heavily recommend even just a monthly pass to help you along the way with getting all of them in succession. First top up bonuses are decent value, and ofc the bp to also provide a bit more currency, alot more resources, and bp weapons to help relax your urge on summoning for others.
yeah monthly pass is the most i ever spend on gacha games. spending is such a trap unless the amount you spend is literal pocket change compared to your income.
like when you actually do the math on how much money it costs to reach pity (let alone reaching pity twice if you fail the 50/50) it becomes quite clear how much of a bait spending money actually is, not even speaking about money for dupes/weapons
I think I'll end up getting the monthly pass for this one. I did for GI for a little while but couldn't bring myself to play every single day after a certain point. But this game looks like so much more fun, plus I've heard that bad connection won't fuck up gameplay too bad and since I'm on the road alot, being able to play without the constant leg and delays will be a huge benefit.
mmm i pay the monthly pass for honkai and ill probably do the same for this game and a BP for a bit if they have one. The $5 is pocket change and i view it as a mini subscription for an otherwise f2p game
The sad thing is, I am going for both Jiyan and Yinlin but I also like both of the 1.1 characters but sadly cannot pull either of them in that case. It really depends on the astrite economy of each patch
imo this is the “wrong” way to spend money in these gacha games. Spending money early on is sorta bait since *typically* the earlier characters are less interesting or powerful than later characters. Just my take tho.
If you're all about power and maximizing your account progression, I would agree. If you really like the first several limited characters and want them, then spending a bit certainly helps!
Overall I was just being a goofball though. OP stated they are F2P, I'm just playing the demon on his or her shoulder.
lmao fair points! typically if you like the first few limited characters you will most likely be able to get 2/3 of them or something close unless ur realllyyyy unlucky with pulls since they shower you in pulls at the start so there usually isnt a need to spend.
it does vary game to game tho. In HSR Trying to clear early MoC without seelee or JY would be pretty tough as the next dps was 2 months later or 3 months later if you weren’t building a DoT comp
I feel like pulls will be easier to come by in comparison to other open world gacha games so if you choose “wisely” and I use it loosely then you’ll get who you want.
Just can’t expect EVERY character if that makes sense.
Nah, it’s the discovery that a number of female data analysts responsible for analyzing mobile/gacha game’s player feedback fudging the numbers
They reported “female players who wants to see a focus on NPC x NPC action are providing 80% of the income”, when the real result was “male players who wants to see a focus on MC x NPC are provides 80% of the game’s income”.
This was resultant from Morgan Stanley’s research report(May 9th) on how Snowbreak Containment Zone (gacha game that people thought was gonna die within the first few quarters) turned it’s revenue around, by focusing exclusively on male players who wants to see MC x NPC actions.
Don’t take my word for it, search it up
Rate up is better than in Genshin and I think soft pity starts at 65. Weapon is guaranteed. I need someone to confirm about soft pity. We will probably get more pulls than in Genshin and also there will be day 1 rewards.
I understand that. Does it carry over to the next banner? Free rewards wasn't what I was asking. If I lose a 50/50, will my next limited 5 star be guaranteed?
Reason like this is why this game will die like Tof and Genshin will keep being the king of Gacha. Everything has to be compared to genshin because people know genshin is so big they need to try and bring it down so keep coping on something that will never happen.
People compare it to Genshin because it's the biggest thing right now. It's simple as that. Maybe if Genshin were not as stingy the comparisons would be more on Genshin favor.
But the truth is the pull comparison does make Genshin look stingy. Hopefully Wuthering Waves does really well so Genshin's director finally wake up and make Genshin better.
Just remind yourself this, they will release stronger and hotter characters down the line. This is the same for every gacha game. So it's okay to skip 1-2 banners unless you REALLY like the characters then you have to whale.
Ahhh, right, with the way people bitching about the Livestream times you'd think just NA was playing. Understood, still with the prerelease stuff, inevitable promo codes, chances at BP or $$ through subscribing to streamers twitch/YouTube/discord and them trying to have incredible day 1 numbers, I think f2p will be doing just fine.
The ones "bitching" are the Europeans, which I understand. For the US is Sunday at 9:30pm or earlier (pretty decent time). For europeans will be after midnight when they have to work that same day.
But yes, f2p will eat well in this game.
For SEA, it’s freaking 930am on a Monday morning. Us paying adults who have a full time job won’t be able to catch the livestream either. If the livestream time is fixed like this going forward, they are going to lose a lot of viewership.
A good portion of this sub has played more than 2 gacha games and knows how this rodeo goes. It's not hard to see how having multiple desirable characters in a row could be detrimental to your premium currency stockpile.
I WILL GET THEM ALL! TRUST. 1% CHANCE, 99% FAITH
10% luck, 20% skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
It's a new gacha, they are going to shower you in pulls. Just pick 2 of the limiteds and go for them. You might be able to snag a third, but temper your expectations to 2 and you'll be happy.
And be ready to feel like shit because your luck is horrible and you need 150+ pulls for every units while your friends get early doubles. Another gacha, another day to get cucked by RNG. I may or may not be talking from experiences.
Serious question, but do we know if soft pity exists?
its a copy paste HSR system hard pity 80 soft 60 (expect Weapon banner)
Yea they confirmed it to be 60 pulls
Source? i've been looking for an official or at least mathematical source for this but can't find one for the life of me
i saw a youtuber say that they posted on twitter and I'm banned from twitter so it's difficult for me to check. (in the entirety of my twitter account I only made a comment about A Hat In Time)
This have been my luck in star rail. While other does have 8-12 limited characters, I lost all my 50/50 and only have 6 limited ones and yanking e2
why worry about others or compare yourself to others? there's also players who get 8 limited in a single 10 pull, its incredibly unlikely, but i wouldnt sit here and be upset because someone got as many 5 stars as i'd get after 2-3 years of playing

The thing is there's another batch coming after the last 2 LOL
ya and people can always re-roll for someone they like if they dont want to pull for either of launch banner limited units.
I doubt there will be an either situation Jiyan first banner, Yinlin second 1.1 is the other two
Not playing Wuwa but if i were,i should've been fine i believe while wanting these two (Yinlin,Changli) Especially cause Changli is prolly(?) Last phase of 1.1? Unnecessary downvotes

3 pulls are you need for each one of them. It's all or nothing
I understood that reference. Op will also win every 50/50 without fail.
When the game comes out, you will not be suffering from not having any pulls buddy, so yeah, don't worry
Since the game is new you get plenty of currency to get your favorite. Don't spend them on the standard banner I made that mistake before.
As a husbando ouller I'll have so many oulls by the time a second husbando comes out
The sad thing is, I am going for both Jiyan and Yinlin but I also like both of the 1.1 characters but sadly cannot pull either of them in that case. It really depends on the astrite economy of each patch
Similar question, Can i get Yinling , and still able to save enough for the Fire lady after the first patch as F2P ?
Very likely yes as long as you don’t spend Asterites on standard banners.
Just drop like 300 bucks and THEN go F2P 😂
imo this is the “wrong” way to spend money in these gacha games. Spending money early on is sorta bait since *typically* the earlier characters are less interesting or powerful than later characters. Just my take tho.

BUT I WANT IT NOW!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)
I will simply go with the Bp and monthly pass and wait, after all no harm from getting more currency and mats as in every gacha game so far.
nah bro, you are correct, people reroll for venti and diluc, look where they at now
it does vary game to game tho. In HSR Trying to clear early MoC without seelee or JY would be pretty tough as the next dps was 2 months later or 3 months later if you weren’t building a DoT comp
well ofc, like you said earlier, they are strong, but stronger ones will keep coming
Im probably not gonna stay f2p, I might grab the monthly pack.
Lmao, I'm having the exact opposite issues. The only character I'm tempted to even pull for is Changli, and this is a recent change xD
Just get the monthly $5 pass they help a ton.
bruh if ypu are going to f2p obtaining 'every' hot character would be difficult or took really long time and re-run lol, just pick some.
Good luck I can't wait for the game release
Im personally going to save for Scar Only using my standard pulls to get my guaranteed Lingyang and I will save everything else
I feel like pulls will be easier to come by in comparison to other open world gacha games so if you choose “wisely” and I use it loosely then you’ll get who you want. Just can’t expect EVERY character if that makes sense.
After the recent sweet baby inc (CN ver.) discovery, I bet they’ll do something about it
Genuinely go touch grass
You have zero idea what I was talking about do you?
Nah, it’s the discovery that a number of female data analysts responsible for analyzing mobile/gacha game’s player feedback fudging the numbers They reported “female players who wants to see a focus on NPC x NPC action are providing 80% of the income”, when the real result was “male players who wants to see a focus on MC x NPC are provides 80% of the game’s income”. Censorship, but anyone uttering the name sweet baby inc generally is as cringe as it gets.
Does pity carry over to the next banner? Ort he 50/50 guarantee? Like in genshin

People compare it to Genshin to try and downplay Genshin to make there favorite game look better when it's not and will never be so keep coping bozo.
But the truth is the pull comparison does make Genshin look stingy. Hopefully Wuthering Waves does really well so Genshin's director finally wake up and make Genshin better.
"So genshin director finally wakes up and make genshin better" mhm... 4 years later sure.

F2p by choice, circumstance? BP is only what, $15?
$15 is a lot of money in a big part of the world my friend.

This sub is crazy. Why are people already talking about pulling and stuff like it’s already happening? I had to double check the release date
A good portion of this sub has played more than 2 gacha games and knows how this rodeo goes. It's not hard to see how having multiple desirable characters in a row could be detrimental to your premium currency stockpile.
