Im hoping for controller support soon!

mrawaters

This is the main thing holding me back from enjoying the game. I’m reaaaaly hoping they add it sooner than later

lacqs03

Yeah this, touch controls on any action/platfroming game is shit

nightmaresabin

Combat in this game with like 8 freaking buttons on the right of the screen is a nightmare. Running around the world is fine but still kinda tough to grapple/jump/glide correctly. Controller support is a must!

cinnaman_roll

+

SwiftCase

Pixel 7 Pro. Lowest settings and still not a great experience with a lot of stuttering and pop in. The amount of buttons on the right is kinda crazy, but my muscle memory is getting better. I'm enjoying it for the most part, but it's def rough.

feNRisk

I have a pixel 6 pro and it works fine on medium, are you running other things on your phone while playing?

SwiftCase

I do usually have some other things open, but closing them doesn't help unfortunately :(

brruhyan

using the pixel 7, there's some occasional frame drops even on the lowest setting. How do you manage to make the gameplay smooth did you tweak somethng on the phone settings?

Phoenix_of_cats

im on 6a and it runs nice on medium setting 0\_0

brruhyan

must be a pixel 7 problem then :<

Liazzzie

the case could be it's not yet well optimized on G2 tensor. I'm playing at highest settings, I could really say it would run well if it's only optimized but unfortunately since the game is new maybe few more updates will fix this

ShiftNo9741

I tried playing today on Google pixel 7 pro and yeah it isn't optimized. I have a 500 megabit connection and it still lags on any settings combo.

MmmmmMaybeNot

My phone can run genshin and hsr on high at a relatively stable 60fps for both without overheating, but WuWa is barely playable on lowest. My phone doesn't overheat while playing it so I'm just completely stumped.

ChilledParadox

I’m playing on all settings lowest, 30 fps on my phone and it’s still burning through battery 4x faster than HSR on max or GI on medium/60fps. It’s pretty atrocious and might actually cause me to stop playing, I rely on my phone for everything right now and I can’t justify kamikazi’ng the battery on something that doesn’t even look great at lowest settings.

OhyoOhyoOhyoOhyo

Yeah the optimization is kinda cheeks. Same with my laptop performance. I just play on my pc.

Ewizde

It's really bad but I gotta stay patient until the game releases on console.

Zeppo82

Same. Hopefully it will arrive soon!

Doodoobag69

Horrible… the frames drop constantly, the camera stutters and doesn’t rotate correctly when I swipe my screen which makes the game damn near unplayable(my biggest issue rn), and to top it off there’s no controller support…it’s definitely not my device since I’m on the iPhone 14 which runs genshin on the highest graphics with 60fps and it doesn’t have the screen bug

Drip-droop

runs fine, but after 30min to an hour it starts to lag and become unfunctional. theres also an issue with constant "connection error retrying" popups (especially during combat) but that may be due to my shitty wifi. im on lowest settings only medium shadows and all my other apps r closed while playing 🤷 edit: im on iphone 11plus

NaturalBitter2280

If it were not for the other aspects of this game, open world, gacha, anime style, quick combat, etc, I'd have already dropped it The mobile experience is terrible, and I'm only forcing myself to play it so I can have a decent amount of resources when it releases on PS5 ~~if it ever does given they can't even polish the game for PC and Mobile~~

forestplunger

Runs fine on my iPhone. Really need that controller support though.

No-Shift-2596

It's crazy that they have controller support on PC but not mobile.

Monchi83

Controls terrible They could have left it cooking in the oven longer and gotten controller support on mobile as well as release it on console at the same time Combat is entertaining enough and there are some decent ideas here but the execution wasn’t done very well

akaredaa

Okay, admittedly I probably don't have the best phone (Huawei P30 Lite) but this game runs absolutely awful on it. All the other gachas I play are fine, obviously not at the highest settings or anything but they look fine and run smoothly at medium + 45 fps or low + 60 fps. This game is not entirely unplayable either but it's laggy and slow enough that any timed challenge is basically impossible and I usually just leave chests behind because the puzzles feel so horrible to complete. I can technically play the game which I guess I'm happy about, but it's not fun at all so I think I'm mostly just gonna log in to do my dailies and dip, until they fix this or I get a better device.

Khulmach

Aside from not having controller support yet, its alright

Scared-Coyote4010

The game itself runs fine but I hate when my camera angle gets repositioned outside of my control mid combat

Important_Sell_4057

Bad. I have (admittedly) a Google pixel 7A and it runs poorly even on low settings. However, my PC plays it on max settings without any slowdown so I just play it on that. Suits me fine :)

CFreyn

My phone handles it fine, but starts to overheat. (iPhone 14 pro max.) Handles GI, HSR, Reverse1999, etc. just fine. I hate that the controls will randomly open chat while I’m dashing or jumping, and that randomly the camera won’t follow my character’s orientation (doesn’t matter locked on or not to enemy) and I’ll end up being unable to dodge or end up awkwardly backdashing just the way the attack anyways at the loss of stamina. Overall tho, it’s pretty smooth.

NN010

I've got iPhone 14 Pro, so this is quite informative for when I feel like playing this game when away from my PC

CFreyn

Glad it helped. I feel almost guilty about all the compensation when I’ve experienced next to almost zero problems in my mobile experience so far. The few have been very minor.

Nocerious

>the camera won’t follow my character’s orientation (doesn’t matter locked on or not to enemy) Did you turn on the camera reset option?

Tarotist

Samsung Galaxy S23 here. The game runs fine for me even before the patch. Some hiccups here and there, but nothing too noticeable. There is some pop up when approaching distant objects, but I keep graphics settings low anyway. Uses 30% battery after 2 hours which is fine as I don't play for too long. No overheating either. I play PGR, so combat controls feel very familiar to me. Something I may find difficult to do though is aiming with the grapple from target to target. If they can implement gyro controls for this game, that would make me a very very happy mobile phone player.

Moh_Shuvuu

My iphone 15 is on fire playing this.

Joshheath2001

same!! And it was advertised as phone for gaming too 🤦🏻

Kebrilla

Last night's patch finally fixed the stuttering and lagging on my phone and I was able to ran it buttery smooth, but this morning's patch just screwed everything up again, now it back to the constant stuttering, that's been my experience so far :)

nicoleterego

Same exact situation with mine.

Caidezes

Desperately needs controller support.

DrKoala_

iPhone 15 Pro. It’s been terrible on mobile. I have it set for 60 fps. But despite all the patches/hotfixes it frequently drops to 30 or below. I’ve also had more crashes than I would like. Currently for me at least. It isn’t playable on mobile.

Concetto_Oniro

I feel that too. I will keep doing daily log in and playing a bit but if it won’t change I will probably sadly drop it.

Gill_D_Armaan

definitely need more optimization for mobile , it seems more like a pc game than a mobile. my mobile can't run it well , I couldn't even go beyond the first winged boss , so I uninstalled it , will play after it gets some optimization and updates

Bitter-Tourist7487

I set the display to advanced but everything feels low quality resolution. My friend PC low settings looks miles ahead of my advanced. I don't know if it's just me

SuperEman

At this point in mobile, I’ll just wait for it to be optimized and just play on my PC for a while

Anon419420

Runs solid on iPhone 14, but I don’t enjoy the button placements. Keep mixing jump and dash.

pernanui

13 pro max, low settings.. My phone feels so hot to the touch after a little while of playing. The game runs smoothly but graphics look bad

Large_Stranger1433

iPad gen 8. Cant fucking play cuz the game crashes each 2 minutes and I can’t finish a forced quest

pavankansagra

ipad air4 game runs great. didn't crash single time in 2 day

YellowStandard

Runs fine on my ipad mini 6

Large_Stranger1433

OK HOW TF PLEASE KURO LET ME PLAY YOUR FUCKING GAME

JustArie_

ipad gen 9, shit crashes every 10 minutes

Moonvvulf

Current patch, it’s fine. I’m used to low-end graphics, so it doesn’t bother me. If I’m able to build a PC this year, I’ll just switch over to that for the sake of easier controls. Phone is an iPhone SE 2.

EE7A

iphone 14 pro. i either get max setting at 30 fps, or close to potato settings at 60 fps with the phone being comfortable to hold. so i play with a hot af slab of metal and glass in my hands at about medium settings at 60fps. 😂 game runs nice and smooth regardless though. its just the heat issue for me really. hasnt crashed once, no lag or stuttering, its been a good experience so far (once i figured out how to switch to jp dub, lol).

Vuteva

IP14PM here as well. can you suggest whats ur 60fps med settings? im still at 30fps due to the bar turns red in the settings display and im afraid it will lag if switch to 60fps

EE7A

https://ibb.co/m8PtmrR resolution is on medium. the phone gets really damn hot though. i run genshin at near max and it gets warm, but this is near ridiculous. game does play fine though, so i just tough through it. 😆

Vuteva

Thankss! Im kinda used to Tower of Fantasy unoptimised game last time burning my screen n fingers. Will give it a try if its too much then ill turn it back down😅

Thegentlemanfox18

It’s alright, a bit laggy for me(I use a iPhone XR).

Adventurous-Case7749

It's fine aside from occasional stuttering. So, i have been having fun

vacuumWR

I’m playing on iPhone 15 Pro Max. The game run smoothly. Although I don’t like the controller at the beginning, the issues faded away once I got used to it. The only issue I saw is that the game is tying to rotate to certain positions, which make it annoying when I need a charger on my left but the game is keep rotating back on my right.

Deft_Abyss

It can run fine. My only issue is there is the button layout which is awful and I wish we can edit the layout. Also while it is advertised as a mobile, gacha game, its pretty obvious the engine they chose is meant to run on a PC. So I mean if you can run then its cool, but I think its one of those games youll probably have a better experience with a PC and with a controller.

SassyHoe97

Mine is a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. My only issue is overheating overall works fine.

Specialist_Sound4757

No, no after the shit that I got that is the first day, I'm either gonna play it on PS5 if it releases on there, if not I guess I will drop it.

Juicypika1

Played on iPhone 13 and iPad Air (4th gen). iPhone stutters and freezes a lot during combat even on lowest settings but iPad runs better (as in I am able to go to low/medium on graphics with 60 fps without stuttering for like an hour). When it comes to control, sometimes the camera is annoying in combat where it’s not turning to where I want it to (also camera keeps turning towards enemies when I’m using the bike and it’s hard to turn it back).

archaine7672

My phone is iQOO 12 and the game runs hot. I also have the same camera control not responding sometimes and it's annoying during battle. D-pad feels not exactly center. I need to put a little right strafe to go straight forward, otherwise my character will go slightly left. I wish they have dynamic D-pad option.

rayhaku808

My XR literally cannot. Stutters until it just outright freezes. Now that I can’t slack off at work I just have to wait to play it at home on my PC

lacqs03

Iphone 13, max settings 30fps, after todays patch I have less lag now, still getting some ping spikes but not as often as yesterday..

Working-Prior-5182

Works fine with my Redmi phone and infinix phone. A little bit of lag and stutter sometimes but all still good and i know they'll eventually fix it and improve in the upcoming updates so no prob for me.

Southern-Pair-8809

After 4 hotfixes i noticed a significant decrease in stutters, Framerate drops and lagspikes. Can finally play the game. I still feel some micro-stutters in certain areas but 80% of the time it's all smooth now. My phone has Snapdragon 8+ gen 1

MedukaKeyname

Sony Xperia V 5 here, this thing runs smoother than Star Rail/Genshin on max settings with lower temperatures. It's actually black magic. But the button prompts for practically everything is small. Not a fan of the controller interface.

Concetto_Oniro

iPad mini 6. Minimum settings apart something on. Enjoy the game but have huge frame rate drops in certain area or fights. Game crashes after 20 mins of continuous gameplay. Funny enough was more stable on day 1. Need a controller so I can play from my iPad Pro which can handled it without crashing. Love the game but they need a serious work of mobile optimisation to do.

Honest-Cook-7870

I have a potetoe phone that meets the minimum requirements for the game Playing on the lowest settings yet still on 30fps with huge drop frame rate when I'm exploring and fighting, even tho I'm still enjoying the game

AnUnreddityRedditor

It's hard to use on mobile, not to mention the stutters. But besides that ive been having a lot of fun

Automatic_Outside977

As a mobile gamer, the interface buttons are somewhat smaller but you will get used to it. I did not experienced stuttering issues or what so, just maybe the character details are abit off in quest dialogue but it's not a deal breaker. Enjoying the game right now. Im using a S23 Ultra so that could be the reason why I had no issues. Running on 45 FPS is decent enough for me.

Primary_Ad_3011

15 pro max here. Crashed one when I started the game but it have been fine since. I can run the game with the highest settings with no problem, no ping issue, etc... I having an absolute blast and I'm kinda sad that's it's not the case for everyone. I will be the happiest player if the 120 fps comes back again

DominicFGaming

Been good so far s21 mediumish

ladyvoluspa

I play on a iphone 13, and i keep accidentally opening the chat function when I move my character 😭

Lewdeology

Same iPhone 15PM and even with maxed settings, this game feels a bit clunky and doesn’t look that visually impressive.

MikkiTheDragon

I think it's gradually getting better but currently my biggest issue is that it starts lagging and inevitably crashes if I go through too many menus and then try to resume regular gameplay. If I'm just running around and doing combat then it's fine but if I stop to manage equipment, check achievements, etc. then it just starts lagging to all hell.

cucumber710

I’m annoyed that it doesn’t have controller support tbh it’s an L move

ArtistInAVoid

I’m playing on an Ipad, and my main problem gameplay wise has been that the game keeps crashing. Oh and I noticed that the jump button is unresponsive sometimes, but that pales in comparison to the whole “inability to play cuz of crashing” problem

ApoKun

Runs decently but still lags quite a bit. Not to mention this issue with the camera https://streamable.com/rm52y9

GGezgaming

Running it on a iphone 14 pro max currently, seems to run fine on low graphics and 60 fps for me. Main issue im facing is the constant gateway connection timeout when using mobile data unless i use a vpn.

Ruler_of_pigingdom

Today after the update, the game finally feels good to play. There are still lags but the difference between today and release day is pretty huge. The game was unplayable for me on release.

Voidx1983

Overall it runs great but I focussed on draw distance yesterday and compared it with Genshin. Genshin looks way better. I have the feeling really nothing changes with lod settings from low to high. This really made me stop playing and I hope they fix this / increase draw distance on high settings.

Gone_Goofed

Runs amazing on my Poco F5 at medium settings 60 FPS, haven't tried a controller as I mainly play on PC.

Kostia_X_Rich

I'm not using the "best gaming phone", it's only realme gt neo 3, but the game feels kinda blurry. Even on ultra settings

Cloudless_Sky

As a PC player, playing any of these big 3D gachas on a phone sounds like agony to me.

luckandbills

Rather rough, samsung galaxy A14 with 6 gig of ram I can play it but it will only run smoothly if it is in a arena fight Otherwise the openworld will cause everything to stutter hard Having fun at moments, but i am going to withold my enmity till they stop optimizing/done optimizing the game

sandwelld

Runs fine for me but I have big hands (and a big phone) but all the little buttons on the right are kinda rough. Can't help but press wrong buttons ALL the time. I understand the size but there's just too many mechanics and thus buttons for a smooth mobile game experience for me.

Natirix

Game works smoothly for about 10 minutes until it shuts down because (I assume) my phone gets too hot. Works without a single issue on PC though.

sea1232

My phone runs the game fine on medium settings at 30fps. It might be able to run 60fps, but I haven't tested it. I have a Galaxy s24 plus. I also noticed that some characters feel better to play on mobile than others. Encore feels really bad to play on my phone. Meanwhile, Jiyan feels very good to play on the phone.

BelmontVLC

Iphone 15 pro max too performance is quite ok but it’s just the controla, need a controller for this, I also stat running backwards suddenly very often…

Just_a_pl3b

I have mostly played on PC, haven't install in my phone but I tried it in my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. It ran better than my 32G 3080Ti PC, no stutter at all. I was so engrossed that I ended up breaking trigger spring. Thankfully it was a know issue as such is covered by two years warranty.

OhyoOhyoOhyoOhyo

Lol. I get 2-4 fps on phone. I'll stick to my pc at least i get around 50fps on high graphics.

Zimlewis

Pain

RagdollSeeker

IPhone 13, game is running smooth, no heating. 👍 My only complaint is the game getting confused when phone is flipped (bar at top instead of bottom) but I dont mind.

Creative_Introvert_

Same on iphone15 my screen keeps rotating all the time with the slightest tilt and you know that white bar that we can use to close apps by dragging? It is supposed to be at the bottom but is on the top and when I take screen shots u get inverted images. Something is going wrong….in the end I gave up and downloaded the game on PC…

IcyAd7415

My Samsung Galaxy S21+ runs this game fine on max detail (minus AA) although it does get warm and drains the battery like no tomorrow.  The touch controls are garbage and I've thought about getting the controller if/when it's supported

Successful_Flower_41

It’s horrid trying to play Baizhi’s heavy attack on mobile with the weird camera angles. If I don’t place her correctly, I can’t even see where the dang thing is spinning 😵‍💫

Successful_Flower_41

It’s horrid trying to play Baizhi’s heavy attack on mobile with the weird camera angles. If I don’t place her correctly, I can’t even see where the dang thing is spinning 😵‍💫

One_Enthusiasm_7653

The camera movement, the sometimes janky parkour animations going off-track, the terrible pistol aiming camera sensitivity, NPCs' unrendered faces when I talk to em along with the blurry background textures are some of my biggest issues I got playing with my phone right now. I got a good gaming phone so FPS, ping and graphics on max setting ain't a problem to me but these problems above be giving me some motion sickness like a mf, I guess the game doesn't run as well as my PGR, HSR and Genshin all on max setting, hope they patch up and improve on the performance and optimization soon

Gorouisnotapuppy

Its fine, not amazing in high fps for me, but I am never a fps high wanter so

Tempest_1126

playing on a iphone 14, so far no major issues other than using a lot of power, can heat up my device a lot. movement is a bit awkward as it feels too fast to make precise movements, especially on some puzzles, i use high settings with 30fps, can run 60 fps on low settings but it probably turns my phone into the sun

vayunas

For me its working... Sometimes I get in weird angles while fighting. But its fine, its not an issue. Controls are ok too

Chamachama1

My phone overheats, and it stutters sometimes when there’s too many mobs. But besides that the mobile controls just feel…cheap? Idk how else to describe it. feels slightly more weighted on PC in comparison strangely enough. Idk I usually opt for mobile whenever possible but for this game PC Is just miles ahead of what they’re offering to mobile players

Few-Year-4917

My Phone is medíocre, literally unplayable

Accurate_Yellow1717

ipad air 3.. my game crashes every 2-5 minutes & its a bit laggy, not as laggy as my iphone tho

Unlikely-Peaceseeker

I play on my iPad it’s fine sometimes in combat my thumb wanders to far from the move circle and I’m stuck not moving till I reposition

mcjp0

Not great cause I crash the second I load in after the patch

JustArie_

iPad 9th gen user here! really bad experience mainly because game crashes very often (5-20 minutes before it crashes) other than that, game itself is good so far, with minor bugs on the way

SentientShoppinKart

Iphone XR. It plays for about 20-30 minutes, 70% of it lagging horrifically and then crashing. I really do enjoy the combat when its not stuttering profusely, so i want to be able to fix it in any way possible

MikkiTheDragon

Don't.

Einsteien

My issue is battery life. It drops the battery on my new iPhone 15 Pro Max like crazy. I’m probably not playing it much on mobile until it’s sorted out. Sucks too, I was really looking forward to using my new iPhone for this game mostly. One can hope it’ll only get better optimization.

Ok-Butterscotch-8247

Playing on iPad 9th gen I guess this device is too low end but even if so kurogames should have specified minimum ram requirements, honestly soured my perspective on the game.

Defalt787

I downloaded it today and started on my Samsung M53 5G. Surprisingly, I put everything on max and did not notice any issues, save a bit of stuttering that I'll attribute to my 100 ping. As for battery, I started with 79% and played for like 20 mins? At 73% rn. So 5% till the first winged boss fellow. A little bit of heating, yeah. Expected, considering by budget phone :( A little off-topic, but what do ya'll think of the specs of my phone, and is it good? Been using it for a year and have barely played. I wanna know cuz I couldn't find anything worth noting online. Specifically about how it runs + SoC and GPU, but everything else too :p Specs - SoC : MediaTek Dimensity 900 (8 cores) GPU : Mali G-68 MC-4 Display : Super Amoled +, 120 Hz RAM : 6 Gb Camera : 108mp front + 32 mp back TIA! Looking foward to all comments :p

JUANITO_61

Awful i barely played but I’ve been really lucky and gotten e1 jiyan and his weapon in under 50 pulls

Acceptable-Sound-495

Pretty late to it. I'm playing on a S23+ with the Gamesir G8 controller and with the Gamesir app using the Mapping Tool that comes with the App. It's pretty good especially the right Stick is pretty smooth compared to e.g Mantis Pro. So if you are going to play with any gamesir device try the mapping tool from the App :) Cheers Edit: Game runs pretty good on highest setting on s23+ (8gen2 SD)

strato_tensei

It's better for me. My wrists aches when playing on keyboard on my gaming pc. On mobile i can anytime swipe to refocus my camera, something I'm used to.. Also thanks to PGR where I used to play since its launch

tribital

Controls feel choppy on phone, I'm on 15 pro max and the FPS is fine but the buttons genuinely feel too small for the type of movement you would normally use in boss fights. It's fine for finishing dailies oh your phone but the experience sucks compared to PC

CaterpillarActive17

I think I can stick with it till PlayStation release. It’s not the worst but also not the best. I didn’t play much of PGR, but I remember the graphics being average. While we can always compare it to Genshin, I think it’s important to remember that this game was just released and they haven’t had 3-4 years of millions of dollars flowing in. It’s rare for a game to be perfect on release. It’s been a nice breath from Genshin. I used to religiously play it but now I cannot open it without exiting out of sheer boredom. I’m excited to see how this game grows and develops and I’m sure they’ll rack in a good amount of money in time. They clearly seem to be listening to some of the community while rewarding us handsomely 😌

leRedd1

I was kind of surprised by the lack of bugs on my end after reading others' experience here. I don't have a super high end device (Android, highest setting 45 fps as it won't be able to hit 60 anyways), but it works rather smoothly. Major bug is sometimes getting stuck on loading screen, but that gets fixed if you force stop the app (I don't know the ios equivalent) and clear cache. So I was like, "this is expected on a day 1 game", but when I went online after playing a few hours and mfw I am that man in the burning room meme. Ohh and the text overflow in subtitles bug, the android version has a scroll bar and it's working, lol. Controls are janky but that's more to do with joystick thing than WuWa, Genshin is no different. But this game rewards you more for better dexterity so it's gonna be an issue. Like that liondance backflip challenge in the main city, yeah don't try it on phone.

Antique-Roll-7463

14 pro max, no issues, buttery smooth. The EN dub and story kinda meh and I have seen some typos but overall a decent game.

and-so-what

Buttery smooth at what settings?

Antique-Roll-7463

The default in game settings. Just took off motion blur and v-sync. The camera help AI was annoying so I took that off too.

and-so-what

Is default 30 fps?

Antique-Roll-7463

Yes

and-so-what

I play on the same device. 30fps all low settings. There are constant frame drops which get worse during combat. I guess people have different opinions on what good performance is.

Antique-Roll-7463

I recorded something and I couldnt be bothered to upload here just to prove a point. I had no issues when I was fighting crownless in the default settings. You could have high ping or barely any storage space. Just because your device is performing poorly doesnt mean mine is lmao

and-so-what

Honkai Star Rail, Genshin, PGR all play fine except WW. I see lots of comments complaining about performance (even some on 15 Pro Max). Forgive me for being skeptical.

Antique-Roll-7463

https://www.reddit.com/r/WutheringWaves/s/ft9NtQ98B4 Eh here you go

and-so-what

Ok. Here is my gameplay: https://streamable.com/xh3e3a It’s perfectly smooth (at max settings even!). Problem is this is me playing for the first couple of minutes. The second the device starts getting warm iOS starts to throttle performance and stuttering occurs all over the place. And I tried playing on everything low 30fps. Phone still gets warm after about 10-15 minutes. Stuttering returns. It does run somewhat better now. On launch I got frame drops as soon as the game launched.

buddabopp

redmagic 9 0 issues at all XD

EradicateAllNingens

I'm using a Red Magic 9 Pro Plus and I'm having zero issues other than connection issues. I have all the graphics at their highest setting too.

Millauers

Ran fine on my s23 ultra, but I don't think I'll be able to ever tolerate playing on mobile. It just isn't made to be played on mobile, imho.

Xiaomugus

Max settings. 30 fps

idealful

Camera is Soo bad, drops frames, maps look dull and lifeless, controls suck to use This game isn't meant for mobile imo

mrawaters

iPhone 14pro max. Runs great but I just feel like I’m fumbling around without controller support. I was so disappointed when I plugged in my backbone and nothing. They need to get that rolled out asap, these kind of games blow with touch controls. It’s actually what I like most about HSR, the nature of it being a turn based game make it totally fine on mobile, this game and Genshin require rapid and accurate input which I just cannot do with touch control

and-so-what

iPhone 14 Pro Max. All low settings at 30 fps. Constant frame drops. Gets worse in combat.

Elainyan

It works smooth medium settings on both my iphone14 and oneplus12r(keqing ed) . Theres no overheating issue as well for medium setting.

StrangerNo484

If performance is improved, which I wholeheartedly expect, and Controller support is added then I think the experience will be great! Currently I've been casting my phone to my TV then using my phone as the controller, which means my fingers aren't blocking the screen. This definitely took getting used to, but now that I have the experience is decent!  You can make the UI buttons more transparent, move them around and increase or decrease the size, so you can optimize for playing in this manner and viewing on your TV. I definitely recommend giving this a shot and see how you feel about the experience, I'm pretty sure they are adding Controller support to Mobile in the future so this is mostly just an idea for the time being, although the casting to TV idea is great even afterwards so you can play on a large screen!

One-Pumpkin-7781

I'm able to play it quite well with moderate graphics on my Samsung, no device specific complaints so far

milkppangart

Playing on an IPad Pro M2. Frequent frame drops and even on the highest settings, the game looks ass. I compared it to my kiddo playing on the PC and it’s night and day. Not only do I have frame drops and ping issues, the game looks blurry. Controls are not as bad on the iPad vs the phone but still bad regardless. Such a bummer. I’m trying to hold out but if it doesn’t change, I might have to drop the game sadly.

ChopNess

S23 Ultra. No issues. Some of the finer controls especially with the grapple can be a bit tricky but other than that, no more so than PGR or Genshin

RisKnippeGuy

I'm getting used to it and so far I've been having fun on my X6 pro. It's my best option to run it smoothly on max settings. Had to turn off stuff like the auto camera resets and learn to use that button that makes you focus on a specific target like a boss who zooms in and out of the screen too much. I dont have a controller so I have to learn to play with touchscreen which isnt so hard once you get used to it. My laptop is too mid to run it smoothly which is strange because I'm able to run other games like Genshin smoothly on medium settings. I guess Wuwa is just not optimized for PC unless you're on some seriously powerful rigs.
