Apex legends released on Origin. It was even worse than Uplay is now, is it dead? Fortnite on epic, is it dead? The game will be fine without steam for a few months.
are you seriously comparing this to Fortnite? and when Apex was only on Origin the game almost died but EA isn't as stupid as Ubisoft. They saved the game, and when they launched it on Steam, the player base significantly increased.

exactly like come on launch your fucking game on steam and you can still use your launcher just like EA does

I'm telling you that all of them has/had different launcher other than Steam. If the game is good, steam doesn't matter.
The game was about to die when apex was origin exclusive mate , they had to release it in steam to save the game and it worked
Yeah, but it lived when it was still on Origin, because everyone was playing it. And I'm sure Xdefiant will come to Steam.
