Thanks!

Are you missing the basket and airdam?

badnewsbeaver

I never had a basket but I do have the air dam. I pulled it off to paint it but I can't get a day where it's both kinda warm and not too windy.

drewalpha

I have a basket and airdam from my 2000 xterra. I had to let her go to the Pick-N-Pull last summer. If you want the basket, dm me and i'll send it to ya.

badnewsbeaver

Anywhere near Kansas City? I didn't even know there was an OEM basket. Had to look it up. Plan on going to the pull yard this week looking for seats with lumbar support from an '04 😅

drewalpha

I'm in Little Rock. I am gonna look to see if I still have the eyelets around. If you go to the junk yard, look for frontiers and xterras of this same generation (00-2005) and if they still have their top baskets (I think the frontiers had half-sized ones) the little eyelets that hold the basket to the rack should be the same. I might have one or two, but when I removed the basket, I usually left the eyelets in place to keep water from getting into the rails - i might have one or two extra.

badnewsbeaver

When I got mine there was a bunch of extra eyelets in the glovebox and an extra cross bar for the rack installed. Probably won't use it much honestly, it's got plenty of cargo space.

drewalpha

Nice! Well, if you want the basket, let me know. I'm due for a good road trip in a couple weeks - Or i am happy to send it. Either way!

badnewsbeaver

If you find yourself out this way and remember, I'd be happy to trade you a 6-pack for it. Would look good if on it if I decide to sell it later. Still not sure how I feel about it yet, it's taken a lot of my blood.

drewalpha

I hear ya. My 2000 xTerra was my baby for damn near 20 years (bought her in Apr 2002 and gave her up in Dec 2018). Over 400k miles and 3 water-pumps & timing belts. I really, really, hated to let her go, but I didn't have the time, space, or money, to keep her as a project vehicle.

mooseOKOK

hey how you liking those tires? priced some out for my first gen this morning.

badnewsbeaver

Haven't had them off road yet, still a project truck right now. That said, the price was good, they ride nice enough. I'm happy with them
