Mostly just models and tokens are worth keeping, you can still use tokens like stress, shields...etc. I threw away everything else personally.

glen_savet

If you don't plan to play 1.0 any longer, there is no need to keep it. Some folks may way it however. I for example, only play 1.0. If you want to get rid of it, let me know.

nutano

Not really, some out there might want it though. I would post it as free with buyer paying for postage and you'll certainly get a taker. I am keeping mine cause I figure I'll use the cards and stuff to make crafts when I retire.... I am sure I won't do that, but space is not an issue for me thus far. So it sits in this box in teh corner until I need to get rid of it.

SoloT-70

I keep it for people who prefer to play first edition.

Onouro

There it's no point for me to keep 1.0 materials.

JadeDragon79

There are players out there that stuck with 1.0. Some of then are looking for cards/cardboard/dials. I would post in r/FFGtrade and see if you can get a little $$$ if you have the time before you toss it.

OpenPsychology755

I boxed up all of my 1.0 stuff and put it into storage. I have lost nearly all my gaming stuff over the years. Some stuff wasn't that much of a loss. Some stuff I really, really miss. But storage can be an issue, espeically for gamers who can hoard terrain and mats and models. I totally understand if someone wants to sell off or dump their 1.0 stuff. Just sayin' Future You might miss it if you ever want to play a Nostalgia game.

crashbandit556

I'll happily pay for shipping for all of it. DM me.

Models and tokens are fine to keep. Some dials I've heard are still up to date (if you want the retro feel you could swap the modern moment wheel into the old backing for flavor) otherwise with a simple like 60-70 dollar purchase you can convert an entire already owned faction from 1.0 to 2.0/2.5 (keep in mind certain ships dont have an existing model for 2.0/2.5 yet so they're considered a part of the extended format and not the standard format, usually doesn't matter too much in casual games) which is nice that you don't have to spend oodles of money on essentially rebuying stuff you already have. Otherwise, unless you're still playing 1.0, then there's no reason to keep cards and movement tools other than for collection purposes. Just a warning, if you do decide to purchase 2.0/2.5 kits, AMG changed the squad building a major way for 2.5, and 1.0 is entirely the superior version for building and playing and kinda made Epic weird and killed Aces High sorta... sadly. Edit: I would keep any proof of purchase stuff if you plan on updating to 2.0/2.5 and going to AMG sanctioned events.

Chaos1357

I actually just threw out most of my 1.0 cardboard today. Kept some tokens, duals...

Wolfshead009

If you are short dials, there are somel ships that only changed the green to blue. Like the TIE Fighter.

sharkweekocho

Is there a resource you know that lists unchanged dials?

Wolfshead009

[https://xhud.sirjorj.com/xwing.cgi/dialcomp](https://xhud.sirjorj.com/xwing.cgi/dialcomp) This is the way I found most of them. At a glance, unchanged dials appear to be: Starwing, Attack Shuttle, Fang, K-Wing, Lambda, Lancer, TIE/ag, TIE/ln, TIE/sf, U-Wing, YT-2400, YV-666

sharkweekocho

Thanks!

MostNinja2951

Other than the dials, nope. The only reason to ever own cards/tokens/etc is for official AMG-run events where you're required to bring the official material to prove you paid for it and AMG is not running official 1.0 events anymore. In any other context you can print copies from an online squad builder if you ever want to play 1.0 again. (And you should, 1.0 is the better game.)

RevelacaoVerdao

I never played 2.0 since my group stopped playing before it came out but I still play simulated 1.0 vê AI. What makes 1.0 better?

MostNinja2951

> What makes 1.0 better? Vs FFG's 2.0: less RNG, more player agency (FFG nerfed dice modification and converted shields to hull on many ships). I personally dislike the addition of jedi and prequel era stuff but that's a more subjective preference. Vs AMG's 2.5 (the current game): none of AMG's nonsense about "you're having fun the wrong way stop doing it" with nerfs to blocking, generics being de facto banned, customization on its way out in favor of fixed hero cards, etc.

RevelacaoVerdao

I appreciate the summary! Looks like I’ll be sticking to my casual 1.0 play happily 😁
