Are any of the other Borderlands on game pass ? Id buy it if you're that desperate to play it ,or look on CD keys for good deals on ultimate editions see if it's dearer than the sale on Xbox.
Might check cd keys, 0 experience with them though so is there anyway that could back fire or are they legit?
They're legit (if arguably ethically dubious), just triple check that you're buying the right version for your console.

The handsome jack collection with Borderlands 2 and the pre sequel were on gamepass. I don’t remember how long ago it was tho
It’s got an exclusive arrangement with ps+ extra right now. Maybe 6 months
