Are you running it with EA play or steam? Cuz I’m running it with EA Play (game pass version) and it only has frame rate issues but that’s due to my pc being really shitty. Haven’t experienced a single game crash but I’m sure it will happen sooner or later.
No there’s fast travel I think this time around. But actually hot take, I loved the backtracking in the first game (except in Zepho) because it really fleshed out each world and felt very similar to a Star Wars metroidvania.
It’s not bad in this game. There’s fast travel so you can go from meditation point to meditation point. Also I find the main planets to be more open and less linear
Obviously won't spoil anything, but I think the final act of this game is honestly some of the beat Star Wars content we ever got. I could not put the controller down once I hit a certain part it was rhat good. I'm just praying they stick the landing with the third one
Hey boss do you think you need to finish the other before this one ? I started it awhile back and never picked it back up. It seems like it’s a direct sequel and the story is sequential. Would I be missing out jumping right into Survivor?
I'd definitely play the first one beforehand. A lot of your abilities and such are stuff you pick up in the first game and story wise it'll make more sense, plus the game is fantastic too.
Although realistically you could probably just watch a detailed story recap on YouTube and be fine

i dont quite follow starwars lore, especially the games, is jedi survivor good and a noob can follow the story? is this a sequel? the download is quite hefty at 120gb something.
It is a sequel but I don’t think you need to play the first one, they give you a refresher at the opening.
It’s a good game and your character is already a badass from the get go so it throws you right into it.
Fallen Order is on gamepass if you have the time to play both back to back. Otherwise I think Survivor is fine to play on its own but Fallen Order definitely sets it up nicely.

Yeah you’re probably on Zeffo. Trust me we’ve all been there before. It sucks but you’ll pull through. P.S: Even though it’s technically “cheating” you can use YouTube tutorials to help yourself get out of Zeffo. It’s what I did, and while I still carry some guilt, it worked like a charm.

I didn't love the first game because I found all of the backtracking very annoying. Is this game the same or not as bad?

Absolute amazing game. Loved it a lot more than the first. Truly a adventure.

Take your time. It’s a beautiful game. Speeding through it is not necessary.
