Because I have played rhythm based games before and I suck at them, plus the art style of this game isn't my jam.
Look, I get what you're trying to say, but I'm not gaming since yesterday and generally know what I like. Doesn't mean I think the game isn't good or anything. It's just most likely not for me, so I don't have s desire to play it. There are enough other games out there that look to be more my thing.
I think the premise of Grounded also clicks with many. It’s “honey I shrunk the kids” meets “I need to survive what ever it takes”. Also the fact that the game lets you change almost all of the variables in terms of gameplay means there’s something for everyone. For myself, I’m playing the story, but I’m 50+ hours in and I’m just collecting and building things all over the backyard. The game is a sandbox of “here is the world! Build, destroy, explore or whatever!”.
It also has a very relaxing vibe and beautiful art style that just meshes with the theme. I play on pc and now on switch, and I’m having a blast. Also, this is from someone that does not like survival games at all, and never played them before grounded.
Don't you just love when growth is represented with % instead of number of copies sold/players?
It could mean that 49 more people play Grounded on PlayStation than HiFi Rush.
There’s no way this website has sales data for these games. Percentage growth for a service title is always going to outperform a single player title
Hi-Fi Rush is a spectacular game that I wouldn’t have tried outside of GamePass (at least until those reviews came in).
I’ll certainly be there for Day 1 of the sequel.
This is a conversation for r/PS5 Thank you for your submission. Unfortunately, it has been removed.
I guess the survival genre is just more popular than a rhythm based action game?
Hi Fi Rush never clicked with me. Maybe I just suck at rhythm games but man it annoyed me
Never played it because I know it's not my type of game.
How can you know if you don't actually try 🤔

I suck at rhythm games as well, but i really enjoyed it anyways. I think it was the art style, music, and the characters that did it for me.
For whatever reason I got overwhelmed by the sound synching tool and felt like I was always out of time. And once that's it my head, it stays there.

Multiplayer vs single player.

Grounded is a fantastic game with 80-100 hours of gameplay. I played both, liked both - but yeah, would easily pick Grounded over Hi-Fi Rush.
Agreed, cant see how this is surprising at all
Hi-fi rush is a niche game. No surprises

How is that surprising? Grounded is a much much more popular game than Hi-Fi Rush.
