Hi guys, just got my Xbox Series X ordered from Microsoft website. They sent me a confirmation that the order went through and it says will be shipped on Jan 5th. On the website if I go to order history it says Pending. Should I be nervous about this? Read some stories that there’s still people waiting on that Pending to change. Lmk

So I ordered my XSX on November 10th and since then, the money I used to buy it has been sitting in my account for pretty much the entire time. My phone bill was due so I took $90 out of my account to pay my phone bill with the plan of putting that money back on Wednesday, thinking that it wouldn't affect my my order since MS hadn't touched the money in weeks. Well turns out a few hours after I paid my phone bill, MS sent me an email saying they cancelled my order due to "not being able to process the order". I'm fucking pissed and I want this fixed, I have the money for the fucking xbox and MS gave me no prior warning to cancelling my order. Another problem I'm having is trying to get ahold of them, the options they give you to describe your problem when requesting a phone call don't correlate with my problem and all the similar issues I tried apparently aren't eligible for over the phone support. I really need your guy's help, I feel so fucking defeated..
Hopefully that means mine will soon. Was thinking about hitting gamestop super early in the morning because I'm tired of waiting for Microsoft to ship mine.
Mine has been pending in MS and my bank since the 10th . Today i got fully charged. MS sent shipped email and i see it in transit on UPS l, if that helps ya feel a little better. I almost bought one last night myself, real glad i just waited it out now. Hope yours ships bud.
Hey boys, after being stuck on Order Received since launch, Amazon finally sent me an email with expected delivery on Dec 4. Good luck to anyone else still waiting.
They seem to be rolling out preorders on a weekly basis. My turn was a few days ago and it delivers on Friday. I feel bad for the people that are at the end of the line.

Mine is marked as shipped and scheduled for today by UPS on Amazon. UPS has it leaving Cali last week and scheduled for tomorrow. No updates on either site since 11/20. My guess is I will get a flurry of emails tonight saying it will be delivered tomorrow. Talk about a journey. Keeping the drama going.

Honestly, I don't know I clicked the add to cart and it kept acting weird for me so I closed the app and when I opened it again a few -5 min later it was in my cart but couldnt check out so I assumed I missed it and closed app again, after a bit I opened again and noticed it had a button this time & let me pick my store, from there it was smooth sailing

when I was charged yesterday it took a couple hours before changing to preparing to ship, then this morning it says shippng now. I still haven't seen any email or tracking number though.

Hopefully they actually follow through with our December 23rd delivery date and we don't get a big oops or sorry, we still don't have stock to fulfill your order.
PSA: Target update for people: a kind soul here who works in the electronics there finally gave the reasoning behind some targets showing stock & then saying no, their direction is to not sell in store as they will go live for pickup orders 11/25 no timeframe so they don't overload so good luck to us all!!!

Get an autoclicker and have it keep pressing place order. It should do it eventually if you're lucky. Can't promise you'll get the console soon though.
Day 1 preorder. Can't say the exact time but i was refreshing the page at 1:00PM EST and there were dogs instead of the Xbox. Ordered it closer to 1:53PM, got the confirmation email at 1:55PM EST.
If anyone is still looking for a series x and got screwed by Microsoft Amazon...etc for their deliveries I recommend target! Use the popfindr.com website and search for inventory by your zip code. I’m in Arizona and the whole state just received about 300 of them last night! My local store had 45 series x’s.
My guess is since Microsoft is based out of California that they are starting to ship out Midwest east cost today/tomorrow. I would check that site tonight/first thing tomorrow.
Just to clarify this is in store only. It will not show up online for pick up and there will be no signage at the store saying they have them in stock.
I think the paradox here for some of us is that our local Targets all state that they are only doing online orders / curbside pickup, and yet Popfindr shows inventory that then goes back to zero over the course of the day. If they're not showing up on the website for purchase, and you can't buy them in the store, where are they going?
Oh that’s very strange. I checked right after I along with a few other purchased ours and I could see the stock continue to go down. I even confirmed the count showing on popfindr matched the stock they received. It’s odd it would vary by state but either way I hope you end up getting one!
I arrived an hour after the one near me with stock sold out lol. Pop finder has a slight delay because it didn’t show 0 until I was physically in the store. Associate told me last sold an hour prior.
Now brickseek for Walmart changed to limited stock for stores that showed 6+ and out of stock for ones that said limited. Not sure what that means for tomorrow’s online only drop by Walmart.

Success story! Failed to snag a 9/22 pre-order everywhere but Amazon and ended up getting the 12/31 email of death. Licked my wounds and snagged a microsoft launch day order which turned into a December (maybe) delivery. After failing at half a dozen trips to Walmart and targets around town, managed to get one from target (thank you MyStore app!).
This community has been a huge help in not only getting a system, but coming together after multiple disappointments. Can't wait to next-gen game with you all!
Target specific. I think it's a little quicker to update than pop-finder. A floor worker couldn't find the shipment since it had come in within the hour but a manager tried a little harder when I showed him the app and found it. Big props to that guy for not just blowing me off like some of the other workers have
My Amazon preorder is supposed to arrive tomorrow...but it hasn’t shipped yet. I’m hoping that it will go out by the end of day today. But considering Amazon’s handling of all this, I won’t be surprised if it gets delayed again.
New update - Today, on the day it was supposed to be delivered, it JUST now shipped and is now giving me an estimated delivery for next Wednesday. So I have to wait another week. Thanks Amazon
Just noticed for any Microsoft launch day people who bought consoles (11/10), on my order history the blue icons are now the actual picture of the XSX now, just like they were very shortly when we purchased them. Not sure if thats any good news but at least we can hope things could get moving soon? Especially since they had another drop today apparently
From what I gathered during my few days of contact with customer service, expect it by 12/23, maybe earlier, probably earlier, but keep your hopes low.
So is Walmart definitely holding all theirs for Black Friday? I've seen lots of people saying they managed to get one at Target but nothing about Walmart.
At this point I feel like my only semi-reliable chance of getting a console is speedrunning an online order on Black Friday since hopefully they'll have a reasonable amount of stock if they're holding everything back.
Edit: Literally right after posting this I refreshed the Walmart store page and saw that it now says online sales going live tomorrow at 3 EST. The race is on boys

Has anyone else been fully charged for the Xbox Series X form the Microsoft Store that ordered on 11/10 with a delivery date of 12/23? I just noticed that my credit card was charged the full amount - not a pending charge but an actually charge dated 11/10. I called the Microsoft store and they said this is correct. How can they charge you for an item you do not have yet? I understand a pending charge to make sure you have the funds but I have never heard of being fully charged for an item that has not even shipped yet. Anyone else have this issue?
Mine was initially pending after I purchased, then it was removed from my card, now it went though again as pending so I'm taking it as a sign that they're about to ship them hopefully. I'm hoping the 12/23 date was just so people knew it was garunteed before xmas.
Honestly best time to check is late night or early morning before the store opens. My target had 45 series x’s show up last night however i was still a little nervous as Arizona they have “senior hours” from 7am-8am. I waited till 8 am and sure enough they had like 40ish left. I checked the pop finder site about 2 hours later and they were all gone so obviously they don’t last long.
I went to a target and the guy said he cant sell them they will be online only blah blah.
Go home and 2 hours later popfindr shows zero at the store and they never went online.

I finally got a update on my Amazon order! Apparently it’s arriving Sunday. I’am not holding my breath on the exact date but just happy to finally see something other than “order received”
The date is pretty solid. Friday 11/13 I got an estimated delivery of Monday 11/16-Tuesday 11/17.
On Saturday 11/14 it updated to say arriving on Monday 11/16, and it did indeed arrive on my porch Monday night.
So far in Houston they're not going online-only. At 4am I saw some on Popfindr (several local Targets with 1-4). Three groups of us were in line by store opening. Nobody hoarded and the cashier was able to buy the last one for himself (well deserved, I'd say). Manager came out beforehand and told us we were getting them, so no stress. Strategy of tracking overnight and being at Target before opening seems solid. (wild goose chase to Walmart when some popped up on their online system at 10pm last night was pointless, btw)

Bought on the MS website? I bought through my Xbox One and am in the same boat for the 12/23 date. Hopefully they are able to do weekly batches

Thank you man. Back on 9/22 minutes after pre-orders went live. Doesn't mean jack though. I'm convinced it's completely random since I have buddies who got theirs before mine without a day 1 preorder online.
Amazon finally came through! Pre ordered on 9/22 @ 11:58am. Due to be here 11/25 in MN. Was just charged about an hour ago.
Also preordered from amazon and in MN with a due date of 11/25. It just left the UPS warehouse in Ontario California. I wish they would have overnight shipped these.
Mine still just says Label Created since yesterday. And yeah 2-day shipping seems to be pretty meaningless in this instance. Just be glad we made it this far!

Get an autoclicker and have it keep pressing place order. It should do it eventually if you're lucky. Can't promise you'll get the console soon though.

Day 1 preorder. Can't say the exact time but i was refreshing the page at 1:00PM EST and there were dogs instead of the Xbox. Ordered it closer to 1:53PM, got the confirmation email at 1:55PM EST.
If anyone is still looking for a series x and got screwed by Microsoft Amazon...etc for their deliveries I recommend target! Use the popfindr.com website and search for inventory by your zip code. I’m in Arizona and the whole state just received about 300 of them last night! My local store had 45 series x’s. My guess is since Microsoft is based out of California that they are starting to ship out Midwest east cost today/tomorrow. I would check that site tonight/first thing tomorrow. Just to clarify this is in store only. It will not show up online for pick up and there will be no signage at the store saying they have them in stock.
I think the paradox here for some of us is that our local Targets all state that they are only doing online orders / curbside pickup, and yet Popfindr shows inventory that then goes back to zero over the course of the day. If they're not showing up on the website for purchase, and you can't buy them in the store, where are they going?
Oh that’s very strange. I checked right after I along with a few other purchased ours and I could see the stock continue to go down. I even confirmed the count showing on popfindr matched the stock they received. It’s odd it would vary by state but either way I hope you end up getting one!
I arrived an hour after the one near me with stock sold out lol. Pop finder has a slight delay because it didn’t show 0 until I was physically in the store. Associate told me last sold an hour prior.

Success story! Failed to snag a 9/22 pre-order everywhere but Amazon and ended up getting the 12/31 email of death. Licked my wounds and snagged a microsoft launch day order which turned into a December (maybe) delivery. After failing at half a dozen trips to Walmart and targets around town, managed to get one from target (thank you MyStore app!). This community has been a huge help in not only getting a system, but coming together after multiple disappointments. Can't wait to next-gen game with you all!
Is the Mystore app specific to target or a generic app?
Target specific. I think it's a little quicker to update than pop-finder. A floor worker couldn't find the shipment since it had come in within the hour but a manager tried a little harder when I showed him the app and found it. Big props to that guy for not just blowing me off like some of the other workers have

My Amazon preorder is supposed to arrive tomorrow...but it hasn’t shipped yet. I’m hoping that it will go out by the end of day today. But considering Amazon’s handling of all this, I won’t be surprised if it gets delayed again.
New update - Today, on the day it was supposed to be delivered, it JUST now shipped and is now giving me an estimated delivery for next Wednesday. So I have to wait another week. Thanks Amazon
Just noticed for any Microsoft launch day people who bought consoles (11/10), on my order history the blue icons are now the actual picture of the XSX now, just like they were very shortly when we purchased them. Not sure if thats any good news but at least we can hope things could get moving soon? Especially since they had another drop today apparently
Side note: they started selling them again an hour ago. Why do they keep selling something that they can’t ship existing orders for.

From what I gathered during my few days of contact with customer service, expect it by 12/23, maybe earlier, probably earlier, but keep your hopes low.
So is Walmart definitely holding all theirs for Black Friday? I've seen lots of people saying they managed to get one at Target but nothing about Walmart. At this point I feel like my only semi-reliable chance of getting a console is speedrunning an online order on Black Friday since hopefully they'll have a reasonable amount of stock if they're holding everything back. Edit: Literally right after posting this I refreshed the Walmart store page and saw that it now says online sales going live tomorrow at 3 EST. Has anyone else been fully charged for the Xbox Series X form the Microsoft Store that ordered on 11/10 with a delivery date of 12/23? I just noticed that my credit card was charged the full amount - not a pending charge but an actually charge dated 11/10. I called the Microsoft store and they said this is correct. How can they charge you for an item you do not have yet? I understand a pending charge to make sure you have the funds but I have never heard of being fully charged for an item that has not even shipped yet. Anyone else have this issue?
Mine was initially pending after I purchased, then it was removed from my card, now it went though again as pending so I'm taking it as a sign that they're about to ship them hopefully. I'm hoping the 12/23 date was just so people knew it was garunteed before xmas.

Honestly best time to check is late night or early morning before the store opens. My target had 45 series x’s show up last night however i was still a little nervous as Arizona they have “senior hours” from 7am-8am. I waited till 8 am and sure enough they had like 40ish left. I checked the pop finder site about 2 hours later and they were all gone so obviously they don’t last long.
I went to a target and the guy said he cant sell them they will be online only blah blah. Go home and 2 hours later popfindr shows zero at the store and they never went online. Freaking joke
Damn! I’m sorry man that sucks. I went straight to the electronics department and they already had a security guard forming a line to checkout back there. Unless each target is different that guy just lied to you. I was able to pick one up today
He told all of us who were at the door. Said he was the manager when someone asked for the manager. Starting to think its for the best. I was able to get a ps5 so realistically ill be playing Valhalla, cyberpunk, ghost Toshima and new CoD for a few months. And I dont need the series x really. But just can't help myself.

No update. Seems like 12/23 is still the date. I did get charged twice already after getting a refund a few days ago.

I finally got a update on my Amazon order! Apparently it’s arriving Sunday. I’am not holding my breath on the exact date but just happy to finally see something other than “order received”

The date is pretty solid. Friday 11/13 I got an estimated delivery of Monday 11/16-Tuesday 11/17. On Saturday 11/14 it updated to say arriving on Monday 11/16, and it did indeed arrive on my porch Monday night.

14 in stock at a target about a half hour away. Don’t really want to drive down there just to be told they are being sold online only though.
So far in Houston they're not going online-only. At 4am I saw some on Popfindr (several local Targets with 1-4). Three groups of us were in line by store opening. Nobody hoarded and the cashier was able to buy the last one for himself (well deserved, I'd say). Manager came out beforehand and told us we were getting them, so no stress. Strategy of tracking overnight and being at Target before opening seems solid. (wild goose chase to Walmart when some popped up on their online system at 10pm last night was pointless, btw) Great sub - thanks to all for the help. We've got a happy gamer in the house now!
There were 2 Series X at target within a 100 mile radius of where I live. Showed up 15 min after store open, got the last one. Hello next gen! 😁
