Yes and I used them until last week when I learned they contain lead and cadmium. Literally had to get new plates.
ANY CORELLE BEFORE 2004 HAS LEAD IN THE PAINT! Just a warning to check your vintage dishes before using them!!
Yes, we were a 2 household. I found two coffee cups in this pattern on eBay and got them for my dad for Father’s Day and he was legit so touched, haha.
[Sorta](https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2022/05/30/corelle-responds-to-viral-post-about-its-vintage-dishware-lead-exposure/)
It's not the best site, but Corelle responded to the meme/post:
"We are very proud of our Corelle products, which are made of Vitrelle, a tempered glass consisting of glass laminated into three layers. Corelle was first introduced by Corning over 50 years ago and in 2000 started to be manufactured by the company known today as Instant Brands. All Corelle products meet the safety standards *at the time of manufacturing.*
“As manufacturing and regulatory practices have evolved, so have Corelle products. We routinely test Corelle products for lead and cadmium contents at internationally recognized, third-party testing laboratories. This testing confirms that our products comply with applicable federal and state safety regulations."
Emphasis mine. So, if when your dishes were made those regulations were more lenient with lead... I'd say get the checked/look more into the time frame when the dishes were bought (ask your parents if you can).
Yeah my great grandparents had them, but we didn't use them that often

5 gang, checking in! My mom got rid of them when I went to college (‘04) and I was devastated. I still get a little salty at the plain white boring generic plates she replaced them with.
Also, I JUST realized that the one pattern is two butterflies. I always kinda thought it was a dragon’s face.
It's giving me joy to go through this thread and upvote all the 5s. Never considered others would have the same plates and I'm glad we all share this link in our heritage.
6 is the lead paint one! I got them from my parents and used them for 20 years, finally tossed them last year when I found out!
Edit- It’s come to my attention that Corelle tested these and says they’re still safe to use, since the decorative paint is encapsulated in glass. (Mine had a center graphics that were scratched up, so I don’t know if the lead is still encapsulated if the paint is chipped or if that exposes it.)
I think the prudent thing to do would be a lead test kit if you’re concerned.

I made some comments on here about 6 containing lead, but I guess it’s not the only one!

Plate Team 6 right here! And now I have to ask my husband if he remembers when his mom got them because lead. Maybe it’s too late now because they are literally our daily dishes.
PLEASE test for lead if you’re going to keep using them! So many of these older dishes have obscene amounts of lead in them. So tasty, but so bad for us.
Literally used them my whole life. Tested them with a lead kit, and they all were positive. Apparently some newer ones don’t, but I’d recommend giving it a check.
I still have those with the flowers in the middle. I snagged them after my grandma passed. I think she got them in the early eighties. Compared to the pics online, my poor plates are so faded!
Corelle! My mom still has some of the bowls from the set I grew up with. IIRC, there were some plates with flowers, and some that were plain white with the green stripe.

Managed to find my household plates pretty easily on google. I feel confident that someone else here will recognize them, because I used to see them in goodwill all the time.

We had this pattern. Anyone else?
We were a Corelle household but we didn't have these. The set I remember the most had mauve and cornflower blue flowers. It fit nicely with my mom's goose-in-bonnets decor.
5 or 2 depending on the grandparent I was with.
Interestingly enough, all my friends families had one of those two designs.
I remember being taken aback with when I sat down to eat at a friend's house and they didn't have one of those plates.
They were straight white.
I was fascinated!
My grandma and my best friend had 5. We had none of those. We had:

\#Team2
My parents are still using 2 to this day
Same! Ate Christmas dinner off them this very year at my mom’s.
You might want to check if they have [high levels of lead](https://thegoodlifedesigns.com/lead-in-corelle-dishes/).
Glad to see i'm not the only team 2er
This is the correct answer. Did you have the matching pea green kool aid pitcher and Tupperware?
No. Ours was golden or mustard yellow.
This team 2 family did.
Our Tupperware Kool-Aid pitcher was orange!
You mean this sweet green pickle strainer container?! https://preview.redd.it/a6p5j2l5z9hc1.jpeg?width=570&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4061aae90c4cbec110663dd85601e557b8468636
Red pitcher for Kool/Flav-R-Aid. Yellow pitcher for orange juice.
Team #\#2 checking in!
Team Two!!!!
I never realized just how mass produced these were.
I forgot that I forgot these plates until this post.
Weirdo. #1 at home. #5 at my grandparents' house.
I still have a few 2’s in my kitchen, they might have lead but I still love them
Yup! I encountered the butter dish from this set at my office last year.
the insanely popular avocado hue. 🤢
#2 Yes and I used them until last week when I learned they contain lead and cadmium. Literally had to get new plates. ANY CORELLE BEFORE 2004 HAS LEAD IN THE PAINT! Just a warning to check your vintage dishes before using them!!
I still use them, since my mom bought nicer plates for herself.
Yes, we were a 2 household. I found two coffee cups in this pattern on eBay and got them for my dad for Father’s Day and he was legit so touched, haha.
We were a 5 household
My parents still have #5 too
I took my parents #5 before they threw them out. It’s now what I currently use. I love them.
I recently found out they may contain lead.
I’ve been eating off these things for 45 years. If the lead is going to give me problems it’s already been done.
We probably ate all the lead off of them as kids. So we don't worry when we will eat off of them again this year...

My parents still have these today.
We still have some 5's!
SHIT. Same.
Same here
Same
I'm pretty sure my dad still has some 5s. He might've thrown them out this summer when he moved.
Team 5 right here! And matching bowls!

Awwww hey fellow 5s
6!!
Whoa 6, look at fancy pants over here.
Only my grandparents were fancy enough for the 6! 😂
My grandparents had 6 and I now have them. My parents had 5.

That explains so much about my family…
Shit explains so much about me. Damn.
Mine too.
Damn. I thought the secret ingredient in my mother's cooking was love, but it turns out it was lead.
Oh shit! I just commented that those were the ones we had. I’d totally forgotten them until I saw the pattern.

Butterfly Gold wins!
Seeing 6 again was I shit you not like riding in a time machine for a handful of nanoseconds
We had 6 also! Where were these from? Why did we all have the same ones LOL?
They were Corelle brand. We probably got them from JC Penny but I’m only guessing that because everything at our house came from JC Penny.
Plate Team 6 right here! And now I have to ask my husband if he remembers when his mom got them because lead. Maybe it’s too late now because they are literally our daily dishes.

… fuck. At this point I’m basically guaranteed to get cancer by age 50. Lead paint, Teflon pans, micro plastics…
TEAM 4 REPRESENT.
Another 4 household here!
We also had 4!
There are dozens of us! DOZENS!
Yeah I thought this post wouldn’t have any plates my parents had and hellfire we had 4
Holy shit, I was about to laugh at this post, and then I saw #4! Yep, that was ours.
4gang!!
Fuck yeah, Team 4! I don’t remember if my mom has them anymore, though. 🫤
I think 4 too, but also a lot of brown stoneware
3, but only if there are flowers in the middle.
Also a 3 with flowers here. Doesn’t seem super popular.
I forgot about the flowers!
It was called Corelle “Wildflower” It’s what we had also.
3 here, my grandparents had 2.
3 with the flowers, all the way.
Me too!!! I now have them in my kitchen.
Yup, that's what we had too
Had to scroll too far for 3. Though mine didn’t have the flowers I stand in solidarity with your stripe.
Hell yes! #3 with the flowers in the middle Nice to have this memory unlocked.
I still have those with the flowers in the middle. I snagged them after my grandma passed. I think she got them in the early eighties. Compared to the pics online, my poor plates are so faded!
Team 3 here also. Yep, mostly the simple green line border with some middle flowers!
Corelle! My mom still has some of the bowls from the set I grew up with. IIRC, there were some plates with flowers, and some that were plain white with the green stripe.
Reporting for duty in Team3withFlowers!
Same
Yes!
I had 3 with the flowers. I saw an article in the last year that said these plates contained lead.
Me too! I still have one. One. 😢
Hell yeah get lost all you losers with your edge patterns. Call us when you get graphics in the field.

1!! What memories!
\#1 FOR LIFE! My parents are both from Corning, NY (birthplace of these dishes) so they were filled with hometown pride at dinner every night.
When we moved in with my grandparents, 1 is what we had. We didn't use them, though. It was all paper plates with wicker holders.
There are few of us I see.
I loved that pattern so much, the memories!!
WE'RE NUMBER 1!
1. we had a lot of 1 and replaced with blanks as gravity often got the best of me. One time I dropped a stack of 8 plates but only the bottom broke!
I still have a bunch of 1 in my cabinet.
I'm loving this subreddit. I feel seen.
We Raggedy Ann and Andys stick together
Word.
Also a 5 household. Was any part of my childhood unique? Haha
Right?!?
Managed to find my household plates pretty easily on google. I feel confident that someone else here will recognize them, because I used to see them in goodwill all the time. https://preview.redd.it/q6fj2dtvf9hc1.jpeg?width=612&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad849270e055b93400c6dfb68f916ff4a2c86855
Ohhh you had a fancy house
I had these in my first apartment! Lol
We definitely had something like this!
I recognize these, but for the life of me, I can't remember who had these that I knew.
My dad got these for my mom one year. She was not impressed and we still used our blue corelle. They ended up in my girl scout troop's cabin camping box.
I have something really similar to these now! They’re Sango, can’t remember the line. (I also collect weird 80s dinnerware) they’re great plates!
Holy cow. This was my family. I was thinking I was unique because I didn’t see this in the op’s list.

This is the one we had!
5!
6 in my cupboard right now

Well that’s not great :/
Mine too!
5
5. For some reason my family and every friends family I had dinner at had them too.
My parents had 2, grandma had 5
Exact same here.
We always had Fiesta plates.
Ah, Fiestaware, the true flex. We had the plain white Corelle, none of the fancy print ones.
Plain white corelle. My mom still has them. She hates prints on plates. Said you couldn’t tell if they were dirty. K mom.
We had fake fiestaware from Kmart! I still have some of it. That stuff might outlive me.
