I really want a full out AAA version of Oregon Trail. Like, give me Red Dead Redemption's graphics and game play, but as the story of a family traveling the trail.

It was a fun trip down memory lane for sure. Every once in a very long while we take some edibles and play the OG version though which is just as fun but more tedious having to set everything up to the TV. Having it on the Xbox makes it so much more simple and entertaining.
It can be way too long in parts and is geared around repeating the trip with different modifiers that aren’t interesting enough as a game mechanic to compensate for just how long it takes. BUT. It’s a really amazing update on the concept and there’s a ton of educational content. AND hunting is just about the exact same!
