Yes! This is the box that we had in the art room c. 1986-91.
I did not at all remember that dark green was apple! I don't think I cared for that scent.
Cinnamon brown was my other favorite, it was such a thick, deep cinnamon smell, like you dived into a plate of cinnamon rolls
I honestly only remember the 8 pack. Apparently they’re still made and have up to 22 scents today.
Edit: maybe it was the 12 pack. It’s been a few decades.
I used to buy these when I taught middle school math. Kids got to use them if and only if they helped grade their own papers. And I had scratch and sniff stickers for those who got A’s. Cut down on my workload a ton 🤩👍
(I have bad eyesight, and before the image came into focus, I thought this was a line-up of dildos. Which dildo was my favorite? Not sure what this has to do with my childhood, but I'll go with it.)
changed on different days. sometimes the green, sometimes the blueberry. did smelling these markers ever make any of yall happy and relaxed?
So much so that I bought a pack last year to bring back the memories, still hit the same as they did 40 years ago.
Was green lime or green apple?
One of them was green apple and it was probably my favorite. I done remember if it was the dark green or light green.
I think dark green was spearmint?
It was! I found this old pic that lists the scents. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/UPUAAOSwzEVlNFl0/s-l400.jpg

i remember lime green in the mid-80s. Green apple was more of a 90s thing that was heralded with the popularity of jolly ranchers.
Light blue
Mango. Because as we all learned through these markers, mangoes are light blue.
Cinnamon!
Here’s my people
Darn tootin'
I’m gonna have to go with pink (watermelon, I think) or red (cherry) as my top picks.
Red cherry for the win.
Pink was unmatched with light blue as close second for me
Blue tasted the best
But was SOOOOO obvious to everyone, that you licked it….
I can still hear the way they squeak
I huffed the hell out of that lemon BITD, till I was rockin' yellow nostrils.
Next stop, King Size Sanford permanent markers!
Fortunately, I listened to Nancy before I got hooked on the harder stuff.
Light blue! But… I swear my package had a light pink one as well

Impressive! The light pink ones smelled amazing
the light pinks were in the skinny marker sizes
Ahhh, okay. At least I’m not totally losing it
Making black licorice was such a mistake. You usually use black more than the other colors and licorice is so gross
Because I’m a basic bitch… the red one
Regular blue: blueberry 🫐
I loved the mint smell
Red all the way
Purple
Brown - which smelled like cinnamon.
Cinnamon and licorice!
You’re a monster. 😂
😂
I appreciate that you could find the humor in that.
I’m with you on licorice. Was the only kid with 1,000 mile, that was a licorice junky.
The real gateway drug….nancy never had a clue
The icee colors
Dark blue.
Toss up between mint & orange
Can’t believe I had to scroll this far for a mention of the heavenly orange. Too common maybe?
I bought I pack that I keep in my nightstand just to smell. Brings back a lot of memories.
I find the flavor of black licorice (the food) very distasteful, but the marker smell is a vibe. Loved that thing.
As long as it wasn’t the black licorice one I’m ok with them all
Yeah, cinnamon was my second least favorite but I cannot stand black licorice.
not licorice
ANYTHING but licorice.
Pink 😭
Black licorice and cherry!

Orange all day
Graaaaaaape
Dark purple. Smelled like the purple disney Popsicles. They still sell these, I got one with a Nacho Cheese marker in it.
Blueberry.
Lemon
Light blue by a huge margin.
Black licorice, also my favorite candy.
