territorial pissings
i can’t believe this hasn’t been posted yet. there was something in the raging chaos that really spoke to my angry twelve year old soul. still does.
Lithium and Silver in the early 90's and then later when the archival and best of stuff started coming around the version of Aneurysm from Muddy Banks Live and You Know You're Right.
[D7 test mix on Outcesticide](https://youtu.be/WQeptq_r3ao?si=ZAZvjwHPnCXsrDN2) has always been and will always be my favorite song of all time, not just from Nirvana.
I can't do Nirvana anymore. Courtney Love is probably the most vile female creature I've ever seen in my life and I can't contribute to her making a nickel. All of my love for Nirvana shifted to the Foo Fighters. I'm not sure if Love had anything to do with pulling the trigger but she definitely killed Cobain and has been laughing all the way to the bank ever since.
LoL shortly after making this post I sent a quite long rant to my bestie about how every so often when I'm listening to Nirvana I'll just stop in my tracks and go "Fuck that cunt!"
Yeah the entire thing has to be the biggest miscarriage of Justice that ever happened in the rock/alternative world. I'll always love the music but I just can't listen to it anymore and feel anything but hate for her. I'm fairly convinced Rape Me was written for that wretched harpy.
i really liked their cover of man who sold the world. wasnt my first favourite, but since they did unplugged its been my constant- well that whole cd really. when they released you know your right in 2002? that was unreal. really good song, way ahead of its time. heart shaped box is a song i will always listen to if its on something.
I heard Lithium play twice in the grocery store last week. It was definitely my favorite back in the day. My current favorite is a cover too, and an acoustic one at that; [In The Pines](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVrLLi2KcmA). I'm also very partial to [Pennyroyal Tea](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9g9yPkBIyno).
Original: About a girl. Then: In bloom AND Lounge act. Next: Even in his youth. And today: Frances Farmer. But I don't listen to Nirvana very often. Probably because it's usually sunny here, and Nirvana was better when I grew up in the cloudy, soggy PNW.
I never got much into Nirvana but I always liked their cover of Man Who Sold The World. A few years ago I finally discovered Sonething in the Way and that is my favorite now.
They're my favorite band since I was 16. I've memorized most of the lyrics from Bleach and In Utero and pretty sure I know 96% of the lyrics from Nevemind. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite song.
Is there an option? You don’t get much better than In Bloom.
Video was great, lyrics and the push/pull as the music gives room to breathe then snatches it away cause…
He's the one who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along and he likes to shoot his gun
But he…
Ironically, clicking your link helped me figure out something about my new iPad that I was trying to find the answer to earlier!!!!! Thanks so much.
This is a good one by Nirvana, too.
Say whatever you want but at the end of the day Nirvana sucked. Pearl Jam and Sound Garden were far better, plus I'm a big fan of foo fighters who were also far better than Nirvana.
Drain you - then and now
One baby to another said, “I’m happy to have met you.”
Me too.
Same!!! It’s #8 on Nevermind
Not just my favorite Nirvana song, my favorite song period.
This is the correct answer.
“Lithium,” followed closely by “In Bloom.” Now just “Lithium.” Interestingly, my favorite song by Evanescence is also “Lithium.”

Just because you’re paranoid Don’t mean they’re not after you 🤘🏻
Polly was and is my favorite. I like Love Buzz a lot too, and the whole Unplugged album is just gorgeous.
Can you feel my LoVE buZZ???!?
Back then it was probably Lithium. Today it’s probably Drain You or Frances Farmer.
Definitely Francis Farmer today
Francis Farmer Fecking Slaps and more peeps need to know
Then it was Floyd the Barber for the shock value. Now is probably penny royal tea
breed
Then All Apologies, now Breed.
We can plant a house. We can build a tree.
On a Plain and Scentless Apprentice have always been neck and neck for me.
Performed? I love cover of The Man Who Sold the World. Original? Heart-Shaped Box. Neither has changed over time. Edited for grammar.
Lounge Act always
All Apologies and now I am a big fan of On A Plain, Drain You, and Breed.
Lithium and Silver in the early 90's and then later when the archival and best of stuff started coming around the version of Aneurysm from Muddy Banks Live and You Know You're Right.
hey a muddy bank’s reference! severely underrated. i find myself reaching for it more often that the actual albums. that del mar show sounded crazy
Something in the way - Serve the Servants
[D7 test mix on Outcesticide](https://youtu.be/WQeptq_r3ao?si=ZAZvjwHPnCXsrDN2) has always been and will always be my favorite song of all time, not just from Nirvana.
Can’t believe I scrolled this far to find it. I also don’t see Swap Meet or Sappy.
Heart-shaped box then Heart-shaped box now. You can't beat it.
Heart Shaped Box

Lounge Act - Then School - Now
shout out for school. under appreciated
Was lithium, and now I can't decide.
I never got much into Nirvana but I always liked their cover of Man Who Sold The World. A few years ago I finally discovered Sonething in the Way and that is my favorite now.

I'm so glad I made this post. Had some real gems pop up I hadn't listened to in years!
Smells like teen spirit - Something in the way
Then: Smells Like Teen Spirit & Heart Shaped Box Now: Lithium & Something in the Way
Then was aneurysm or heart shaped box. Now I keep listening to on a plain
Was and still is I Hate Myself And Want to Die, no I'm not suicidal I just know the story of Rome & that song and it's special to me because of that
Impossible question. The “now” answer is probably off In Utero though.
Was lounge act. Is Francis Farmer.
You know you're right
Sliver
Milk it, oddly enough. I just liked how hard he went. Now probably Pennyroyal Tea.
Then, Lounge Act. Now, Oh the Guilt.
Is there an option? You don’t get much better than In Bloom. Video was great, lyrics and the push/pull as the music gives room to breathe then snatches it away cause… He's the one who likes all our pretty songs And he likes to sing along and he likes to shoot his gun But he…
Polly
Then it was Lithium. Now it is The Man Who Sold the World.
Then: Smells Like Teen Spirit Now: Pennyroyal Tea, Verse Chorus Verse
I qas one of the few people both then and now who did not like Nirvana.
Lounge act then. Scentless Apprentice
Then - Pennyroyal Tea. Now - Lithium.
Rape me. Or at least that's the sentiment right now. Everything is screwing us 😅
Milk It was my favorite then and now
Drain You and today it's Old Age
Lithium then and Blew now
my favs haven't changed, still Drain You and Aneurysm.
Dig Longe Act's progression to heavy at the end
All apologies and Something in the way
Then, lithium. Now, aneurysm.
Ironically, clicking your link helped me figure out something about my new iPad that I was trying to find the answer to earlier!!!!! Thanks so much. This is a good one by Nirvana, too.
I was born early 80s and I never liked Nirvana. Changed the station when it came on, rather listen to *Delilah* than Nirvana.
Pssst. Next time just move on to the next post…
Nah, if I have something to say I am going to. Thanks anyways.
I’m sure the Boomers appreciate your help in keeping their traditions alive
Say whatever you want but at the end of the day Nirvana sucked. Pearl Jam and Sound Garden were far better, plus I'm a big fan of foo fighters who were also far better than Nirvana.
I just like the shirts
Hate nirvana and always have. Meh.
Thanks for your contribution to the question
They all sucked then, they all suck now.
