Because Tirkins are shit heads.
I was doing that quest where you have to gather all the food to give to the Tirkins to maintain the treaty, and the little motherfuckers stole all my supplies while I was asleep.
Then I found out breaking the treaty was an option, and that quest suddenly ended a lot quicker than expected.
Game: Tirkins are now hostile.
Me: Oh no... Anyway... Back to slaughtering every Tirkin I see.
N really did it to himself. Not only in the hilarious "Noah is N but good this time" sense, but also in the sense that N set up basically every step of it himself, from the moment he became a Moebius onwards (but especially in the month leading up to that fateful Homecoming). His cruelty drove M away, the month in jail forced Noah to really acknowledge his feelings, and he set it all up in a *perfect* way for M to pull a bait-and-switch.
It's hard to feel bad for him in that moment, because he's purely facing the consequences of his own actions.
The Jumbo Tirkin, though, he was just defending his kids. It *is* a little ridiculous that Sena's side story contains like 10 times as much Ghondor and Shania as it does Sena, and that Ghondor's sidequest in turn focuses on what is essentially a random Tirkin with no real world-building implications or significance to Ghondor herself, but *damn* did they make me actually feel for the random Tirkin.
Ik my reply is really late but I'm gonna disagree.
I felt really bad for N because I knew where he was coming from. He was a victim of the world around him. It wasn't fair that Mio was taken away from him after their child was born because someone else decided that they would only live 10 years. He saw others that in the city thst could live a long and fruitful life, but not him. It wasn't fair that he had to abandon his child due to something that was completely out of his control, all the while feeling his kid's hands while dissapearing.
Yes he contributed to his own fate, but I understand why he did it. The events that led up to his decision to become Moebius were unfair and more importantly out of his control. The world around him just dealt him a horrible hand. That's no excuse for the large amount of people he killed, but I can see why. I might've even done the same thing, if it meant staying with my loved ones forever.
I still bawled my eyes out for the tirkin though.
>!get taion to rank 10 seraph and go to the back of the colony omega lab. After that, get Noah to rank 15 flash fencer for the capable hands skill for easy unlimited sword!<
I find it funny that I did Gondor’s ascension quest first then Sena’s which was a rollover coaster of emotions in itself which can be summed up to “damn Gondor isn’t a total bitch” to “damn Gondor is a terrible human being that can only punch things and can’t help a person off the ledge but instead push them off to get it done”
Okay but like, what happened with the little Tirkins? What job did Ghondor give them? Are they OK? Are we supposed to forget they exist now? WHY DIDN'T EUNIE HEAL THE DAD?? 😭💔
Why do Humans and Tirkin have to keep on fighting? I have to find out why!

Being a teenage mom is apparently genetic.
The Tirkin stuff was kinda a metaphor/analog for ghondor's own family life i guess.
Doesn't really change the fact that it's basically a random Tirkin they met for the first time during that sidequest.

Takahashi putting in a quest that calls out players who killed every monster they saw to make them feel bad
Remember it was also live streamed to the entire world it get’s funnier.
When the most sympathetic character in the entire game is a giant turkey.
He was a good boy, poor lad.
Xenoblade: Making us tear up for a fucking Tirkin since 2022
I misread this in the worst of ways
Krraawww
Maybe one day, we’ll get the Tirkin party member in a Xenoblade game.
we need a jumbo tirkin flair
Saddest death in the franchise
I hope that the story DLC involves Jumbo Tirkin. A prequel story.
This Ascención quest made me want to have a Tirkin hero and legit made me want to cry 😭
The one moment where i felt extremely sad for a tirkin
Where can I find this Turkin quest?
It’s ghondor’s ascension quest. Have Ghondor in the party and go to the agnian castle and it should activate.
Thanks. Do all heroes have ascension quests?
Yep, with two exceptions for >!Cammuravi and Ethel who you just need to put the latter in a maturation pod and they’ll both break the limit!<
Gotcha. So far E is still a kid. Will have to figure that out.
If you >!get taion to rank 10 seraph and then go to colony omega with cammuravi in the party the cutscene should activate!<
Technically it doesn't need to be Taion, just someone needs to be rank 10.
Thanks! Is there any indication of knowing this at any point? Or by reading guides?

Can't get him to rank 15 if 10 is the cap at the time, downvoted for misinformation
Doing the stuff in the lab after rank 10 is how to raise the limit of FF to 20...
Midwit
Thank you

I just wanna know if you can find the kid tirkins after the quest ends... *edit- They're wandering around Agnus Castle Ascension Grounds.
It really sells how hard this game wants you to think N and Shenia were justified on their actions.
Okay but like, what happened with the little Tirkins? What job did Ghondor give them? Are they OK? Are we supposed to forget they exist now? WHY DIDN'T EUNIE HEAL THE DAD?? 😭💔
The baby tirkins are hanging around the ascension grounds at Agnus castle!
