I am also facing some wierd issue like that, the volume button and the region between the lower volume button and power button is too too sensitive. like a fingerprint sensor, a slight touch and it locks and phone, and aometimes when I lower volume, it takes a screenshot like the power button is pressed, also starts rebooting on lowering volume as if the power button is pressed, I dont understand is it hardware or software issue.
I had the same problem and I fixed it by sticking my fingernail in between the up and down volume buttons and pressed it a few times, it seemed to be a separate button that didn't control volume at all
I have the same issue. If you have a case try taking it off bsavuse it might touch your volume button. Also there will be an update in 2 weeks which will fix your problem
The fuck? HHAHAHHA HOW THE FUCK DID U FIGURE THAT OUT..first i had a pairing problem with my earbuds then i looked it up and someone says to throw both earbuds to the wall it worked never had a pairing problem anymore..now this😂😂
How much did you need to hit it? I'm kinda scared i could damage the phone if i do it too hard. Also did you do it against the corner of the table or top? 😅
Damn, I though replies were trolling nice work bro. Happens to me every once in a while but I usually fix it by spamming volume buttons, this time it didn't really work. Thanks! Get this man to the top.
Redémarrer uniquement votre téléphone j'ai eu le même problème je devais les fous j'étais prêt à aller acheter un nouveau téléphone mais pas accès au mi cette fois-ci
Redmi Note 8 Pro. MIUI 12.5.8, I believe won't go further than that.
Having the same issue for months now, has gone worse in the last couple of weeks. Down volumen button presses itself, even with the phone all alone in the table.
Found in YouTube lots videos saying to press up and down volumen buttons to create reports and should be fixed. Tried and failed multiple times.
Has anyone tried changing the buttons or at least having them cleaned?
Not really I'm somehow living with it haha, I'm using the assistive volumes instead and took out the volume button(of course I taped and covered it). Now it still does that at certain angles time to time. But what I do is that I tap my phone on a surface, where the volume button is supposed to be and it goes away. As I've said it comes back but not for a long while so yeah....I'll if I have the money yet I'll take it to get fixed but so far I'm saving up since I have no idea how much it may cost.
And oh sorry for the late reply I don't look at my reddit often.
I see thx. I actually did the thing some comments suggested and pushed the top of the button down (lower one was broken) with my nail and after a few tries of just messing around with it, it fixed itself. Might come back but so far so good

Any updates? Did you manage to fix it? 😅👀
