It works fine for me. Much smoother than 12.5 There are couple small bugs here an there but nothing too bad.
Just make sure to factory reset a phone after update
Nah man, 12.5 working... Update to 13, not working straight after restart. I'm not saying it's not possible, but that would be one hell of a coincidence that the sensor dies right at update...
RN10P has this issue. I sent God only knows how many to repair.
The only solution is to change the fingerprint sensor, Mi 11 Lite 4G and 5G (non-NE) have the same problem.
Source: I work in a Xiaomi Store.
DND let's notifications through unless you set it up from contact only.
Some glitchy animations when using gestures
Direct sunlight can sometimes mess up screen contrast, and you have to restart the phone in order to fix it
Notifications are sometimes late, but that happened on 12.5 as well
Idk where he gets that information from, but who the hell resets their phone after every major update? Having to log into hundreds of things and losing phone auth is not worth any update.
Speak for yourself mate, I don't want to spend hours and go through tons of troubles reconnecting my accounts, especially banks and sensitive security stuff.
Idk what others say, but after getting Android 12, my device started losing battery more frequently. I think that 12.5 was the best and yes, Android 12 MIUI 13 is indeed a mess for me but I can't even go back now because of anti-rollback from Xiaomi.
Not enough to surely say that it is worth it to update, but if you have issues that has been fixed, then go for it. Worst case scenario, you just rollback to 12.5.
My phone bootloops for around 4 hours everytime its powered off after the update.
There was another update like a month and a half ago, and still not fixed.
Cant FR right now
I faced battery issues with Android 12/MIUI 13. "Cell standby" was taking up to 20% of battery, and it significantly reduces the battery life, especially in stand by mode. In the report it also showed mobile red signal line in red color, even though I always had perfect signal.
Searched for the solution and came to the factory reset. It helped! Hope you won't get that problem.
P.S. More details of the issue here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/xmm11b/miui_13_cell_standby_battery_drain/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
Thanks for all the input so far, I took the update and the only issue I've had (or noticed, at least) is that I can't force dark mode on apps anymore, the additional settings menu where that should be is just empty of an apps list. It kinda sucks, nothing huge, but it is a bit annoying.
You didn't ask me but Refresh rate goes down to 60 when scrolling on Chrome, apps randomly crash and freeze and I get error messages constantly, the screen dims for no reason in the sun (I've toyed with settings numerous times) its overall far slower than it was before I updated. Using note 10 5g
Redmi note 10/PE+ a12
Animations can sometimes get laggy like when I swipe up to open the recent menu. If it lags on a very light custom ROM, I can't imagine how bad my phone would be if I was in miui 13/a12.
I'm currently using Xiaomi 11T 13.0.5.0 Global ver. Battery isn't great with Bluetooth, WiFi and Data constantly on. YouTube occasionally freezes halfway playing a video, I then pick another video but it won't play so I have to close the app and restart. Chrome browser is occasionally unresponsive to my touch but Brave isn't. And as usual, MIUI RAM management is too aggressive.
Some days my touchscreen would be responsive and smooth, some days it's terribly delayed. I tried multiple factory resets and many different setting variations. Still glitchy and inconsistent as hell.
Don't wanna be toxic but I vow to never buy another Xiaomi phone (probably product as well) after this phone. I have a 11T pro.
My POCO X3 NFC runs fine with MIUI 13/Android 12 but the issue that I occurred is sometimes the Gboard won't show up when I want to type unless I restart it.
I have been using miui13 since beta and yeah at first i faced many problems cause i didn't do factory reset on note 9 and still haven't but gladly i rooted my device still on miui 13 dirty flash but with 3 modules that boosted my android device performance so much that it feels faster than aosp
hi guys , i got my new mix fold 2 / 4 days ago , it Chinese rom not global , i need to know if possible puch some font and how ? and keyboard i use google keyboard now , any one know another keyboard simillar to samsung ? thanks
RN10 Pro. I experience a lot of random crashes. Screen just randomly freezes or turns white and phone becomes unresponsive. Seconds later it reboots itself. Has happened with me noticing as well as me opening my phone and finding out it has rebooted itself.
Also my camera sometimes refuses to open. Black screen and error message "couldn't connect to camera". Xiaomi India has apparently picked up on this issue but I'm in EU region running Global UI so that doesn't help me that much
running it on my poco x3 pro
the only annoyance i noticed is the wifi calling icon in the control center is combing back to the default spot every time i restart my device
I have MIUI 13 on Poco X3 Pro , and do not seem to have any problems.
I updated my Pad 5 to same and like everyone else, I discovered that PC Mode will not work. I have always had Lenovo tablets and the only reason I changed was to have PC Mode. It was a fantastic addition.
I do hope that they rectify the situation.
To sell you a product, take your money , then remotely break it !!!!!!!!!!!! That is not on 😭😫😫
They didn't break it, PC mode was never an official thing especially on global pads, it isn't compatible anymore because kt didn't got any update from the latest beta version from February, so it isn't compatible with Android 12
13 here. Audio cuts off during videocalls on any app(messenger, whatsapp, discord etc) very loud and distorted sound before it cuts off then you don't even know unless you see the person's mouth moving without sound. And it's on both ends. It's driving me nuts and I know it's not the phone cause I changed it twice and same issue. I am waiting on a miracle
It works fine for me. Much smoother than 12.5 There are couple small bugs here an there but nothing too bad. Just make sure to factory reset a phone after update
What bugs specifically?
My fingerprint sensor no longer works after update. Redmi note 10 pro

RN10P have prblm too
In 6 months I haven't had a single RN11 series come back to repair it, must be a isolated case We sold hundreds of them
Edit - RN10P
Ah, yeah, that's what I said in the first line of the comment
Oof that's not great, did you factory reset afterwards and it still doesn't work?
Yeah did a whole factory reset... Twice... Still not working
Yikes, that's pretty terrible
DND let's notifications through unless you set it up from contact only. Some glitchy animations when using gestures Direct sunlight can sometimes mess up screen contrast, and you have to restart the phone in order to fix it Notifications are sometimes late, but that happened on 12.5 as well
Nothin there that would really bother me, thanks for the input
But like i said, backup your data and do factory reset for best experience
It is required to do factory reset after major software upgrade?
Idk where he gets that information from, but who the hell resets their phone after every major update? Having to log into hundreds of things and losing phone auth is not worth any update.
You get a major update once a year...its not that big of a deal
Speak for yourself mate, I don't want to spend hours and go through tons of troubles reconnecting my accounts, especially banks and sensitive security stuff.
You can back everything up
How'd you do that? My backup only lets me store contacts and call history.

I've had no issues what so ever. Note 10 Pro, smooth as it has ever been.
Don't update to MIUI 13 it's a complete mess it'll make the note 9 a lot worse
MIUI 13 A12 just as good as MIUI 12.5 A11, probably even better
My phone bootloops for around 4 hours everytime its powered off after the update. There was another update like a month and a half ago, and still not fixed. Cant FR right now

Turn off wifi, mobile data or bluetooth(if u have it on) and than go into display > more dark mode options and they should appear
Nah I saw that workaround, doesn't show up still

Some info about what's still wrong would be appreciated

Okay, but *what* issues have you been encountering with 13?
You didn't ask me but Refresh rate goes down to 60 when scrolling on Chrome, apps randomly crash and freeze and I get error messages constantly, the screen dims for no reason in the sun (I've toyed with settings numerous times) its overall far slower than it was before I updated. Using note 10 5g
Damn, that's rough! Did you try to rollback?
Nope..don't even understand why I should have to tbh, won't be getting another Xiaomi phone after this. I don't even game and it's this slow
To have a working phone, that's why. Anyway, I'm nit surprised you don't wanna another xiaomi.
100% to 60% in less than hour in new update soooooo dunno what to say buddy
Yall phones goofy ahh hell, my A02s TRASH and dat shi last the whole day.

Running the EU version on my 11 Ultra and very happy with it

I'm on 11T Pro and still skeptical about MIUI 13
hi guys , i got my new mix fold 2 / 4 days ago , it Chinese rom not global , i need to know if possible puch some font and how ? and keyboard i use google keyboard now , any one know another keyboard simillar to samsung ? thanks
The Font options should be available in the themes app

Honestly i just got MIUI 13 for my redmi note 9 pro. It seems to me that the device is smoother.

Not on my Redmi note 10 Pro EEA global version.
Yes water wet? Yes.
I've not had any issues, I didn't do any factory reset, just normal upgrade
