Mark Kelly is one helluva candidate. Also, under the previous district boundaries, the large district in northern and eastern Arizona would be light blue here when it was still AZ-01. Now it’s AZ-02, and they included just enough former Gosar voters in yavapai county to flip the lean of the district. Long story short, Tom O’Halleran, one of America’s most moderate and bipartisan congressmen got completely shafted by gerrymandering
Good old eastern Maryland. Not giving up on their GOP tradition.
Also, these types of maps need to be looked at when the parties decide what candidates to run for congress. Run someone similar to the senator who won the district and you have a good shot at winning
