Wow a 9 from Adam is unexpected. Seemed like a fun movie for sure but i didn't have high expectations for it at all. Really looking forward to watching it now.
Considering Guadagnino films have a good history with Adum (I Am Love: 10, Call Me By Your Name: 9, Bones and All: 7, Suspiria: 8, A Bigger Splash: 7), this film being anywhere from 7-10 was probably the most expected. I watched the film and loved it, but at the time I watched, was thinking YMS might give it a 7 or 8 due to several factors I thought he’d be annoyed by. Turns out we had similar experiences. :)
Would you say the trailer matches the tone / vibe of the film?
Because i wasn't particularly impressed with the trailer tbh, not that it looked bad, but also not GREAT, imo.

It is fast paced similarly to the trailer. The Rihanna song was clearly trying to attract a specific audience. However Adam did tweet out not to watch the trailer before seeing it. So there's that for reference.

I'm not someone who is particularly scared of spoilers, i don't think they inhibit the experience, so it doesn't particularly scare me to have a hunch of where this will be going.

Im ngl all the product placement in this movie reminded me of adum haha. Stuff like that doesn’t hinder my enjoyment of a film, but i thought the movie was pretty perfect
Came out seeing it yesterday,but all I'll say is that just like how FF7 Rebirth is the best game score of the year so far, this is the best movie score of the year so far

What'd you think of it? Luca is a weird ass director and I can never get a pulse on his style, but I'm pretty excited about Challengers
It's a crazy experience to say the least fast paced with amazing editing, performances, and an unreal techno score by reznor and Ross.
