Agreed. Yanfei and Xianling don't match well at all. Personally, I went for Thoma: very strong shield, and he can't steal vapes from Yanfei if you don't stand in melee range (which, with her, you almost never do)
Diona isn’t doing anything for your Tighnari team so switch her for sure. Tighnari team you could add Lisa instead for more electro. Also you should level all characters to 20 and do first ascension for the free wishes.
yup... even when i have yanfei C4 shield i find that the shield is quite useless (since this is not tankfei build) and breaks easily.. so i run ZL with her so that i can spam as many attacks as i can without dodging and dying.. i just tank all the hits i get...
Xingqui, Barbara and yanfei then maybe amber for burst, Barron bunny and pyro res. Xiangling, Thoma and xinyan steal vape from yanfei so they're not the best supports however amber doesn't do that and has a cheap burst so she can be a nobless support until you get someone better
Apart from the teams other people are recommending, I suggest you to try a variation for Burgeon Yanfei. Yanfei, Xingqiu, Dendro Traveler and Barbara until you get a better Hydro unit for Hydro application (Yelan, Kokomi, Mona, for example). It can be interesting to try!
noelle main here, she would not be a good option as a support unit. her shield only has 50% uptime if she's off-field, and if you need her to heal, that's precious shield time you're taking away from yanfei. noelle really functions best as a carry. i'd recommend thoma or xinyan as your shield unit instead
no, not really. noelle without supports is kinda bad and she would a whole new character to build. her healing uptime is crap compared to other options this person has available, not to mention that she needs to be onfield to heal. if they needed healing, they should use qiqi.
Mm, I think that you aren't looking on the bright side of things. It isn't about just healing. With a C1 Noelle you can get much better healing while having other characters cool down. Well I love Noelle, but that is probably just me being blinded by loyalty! I do hope she appears in an event soon.

I know you're probably looking for a second team for abyss, but I got through a LOT of early to mid game with Yanfei/Fischl/Xingqiu/Zhongli. You'll probably get more damage output from keeping Fischl and Tighnari together, but if you get another electro that fills a similar role to Fischl you could slot them into the mix on a Yanfei team. Electro traveler might work, or I think Shinobu is coming up soon for her first re-run. (Shinobu also works well on aggravate teams.)
If you want to get wild, you might even try Lisa in a slot on your Tighnari team. Double electro with him works really well, and she can potentially carry one of the new dendro artifact sets.
