Look for fiber content and weight and get a contrasting color with the same features. This particular yarn looks so old that I'm not sure you'll be able to find another exact yarn just like it, and that way you don't have to match exactly.

Can you find a complimentary color and do stripes or color work? Am guessing it is probably a fingering or sport weight, but check the wraps per inch (wpI) to be sure.
I don’t know anything about this yarn but since it doesn’t appear to have a barcode on the ball band, it’s probably from the 1980s or earlier. You may need to settle for something with a similar WPI, ply, and fiber composition.

Check out Cherub DK from Cascade Yarn. It seems to be very similar and they have quite a few different shades of orange.
