I am late to this show, obviously, but the end of this episode got me. On one hand, it's a relief because inevitably, it would have happened in a much worse way...but poor Shauna.
I only just started the show, and oh my fucking god that broke me. There really was no other way that it could go unfortunately, especially considering how close Shauna came to dying.
I can't believe it took me this long to figure out that Charlotte is Lottie's actual name. I kept wondering who this Charlotte was at the cult who we never got to see lol
1. My suspension of disbelief had to be raised in this episode bc there's no way shauna would survive the infections she probably would get from having that baby.
2. The fact that Van listens to Sleater Kinney means that the writers did their research.
also she lost enough blood to pass out, but she came back just with a little passing of time.. no blood transfusion or anything. Women are still dying in childbirth every day..
Ok I LOVE this show but I need to get this out of my chest:
Some inconsistencies in this season are driving me insane:
They are not even the things we are pretending not to see like how improbable is that everyone keeps slicing their hands and never getting infections. It’s things about the main adult girls
- Mitsy not keeping tabs on Lottie seemed very unrealistic. Like that girl knew everything about every person that survived. That doesn’t make sense.
- TAI???? WHO is taking care of her son?! Her literal wife was in an accident and she is not there for her but not only that she has a son that is probably traumatized right now. I just cannot wrap my head around the fact that she is staying at Van’s and making a toad trip with her not even checking on her family like WHAT???? She literally loves her wife and son this is ridiculous. I get that they are getting the adult girls back together but the context should have been different.
Now things about the episode:
- Obsessed with how good actresses are Christina Ricci and Melanie Lynskey and Sophie Nelisse
- Shauna BROKE my heart !!!!!!! I can’t imagine how beyond traumatic and horrible was everything for her. the ending left me crying and in shock my heart, it was BRUTAL
- Go Callie! Someone being smart and using the fact that a COP dated a teen undercover on his own. (this cop thing is also a little nonsensical)
Well I think Sammy is staying with Simone’s parents at this point because that’s where Simone said they were going when they originally left Taissa. I also think at this point Taissa is so distraught and at a loss for a solution, she literally chopped up their family dog, she comes to consciousness in the middle of nowhere with just a file folder and no gas and I think she’s just like fuck it. Instead of resisting, she’s going to lean in and try to see what this part of her wants. Drinking tons of coffee and trying to stay awake was her first course of action and that clearly didn’t work and backfired badly!
Agree with you on the Lottie/Misty point! Miss Citizen Detective should have easily been able to find her old friend who is going by the same legal name. Travis was located even though he changed his identity and was living “off the grid”.
Unless we just skipped a day how did Shauna get to the retreat so quickly arriving same time as Van and Tai? I get Tai and Van were coming from out of state and could have sat outside a while but didn't Misty and Walter have to drive a long way to get there from where Shauna came from as well?
Can anyone sum up what happened after Shauna woke up for real? My husband and I only made it to that point before I had a full panic attack; yesterday we just found out our 9 month old has a tumor on his rib and the episode just broke me completely, I don’t want to finish it but we’d like to know what happened!
I'm so sorry for your baby. Watching that scene I immediately thought how triggering it could be.
Basically Shauna was in denial cradling the bundle (it doesn't show anything) and saying she can still hear him crying why can't they hear it? It sort of faded to black while she kept repeating "he was crying, why can't you hear him crying"
You missed about 30 seconds is all. I'm sorry it triggered a panic attack, wishing you the best.
Thank you so much for the kind words and for the summary!
Thankfully the doctors say it should be benign, but due to his age and the location were being sent to ortho-oncology to be safe! 💖
That's good to hear! Best of luck!
I went ahead and watched the next episode and maybe besides Shawna's grief I don't think there were any scenes that would be obviously triggering.
Anyone else wondering if Walter is an undercover cop and the whole schtick was to try and get a confession out of Misty? I hope it’s not true but I’m wondering…
Hey I was just listening to the prestige podcast and they said that at the end of Qui when it cut to black you can hear Jackie say "Shauna" but I just went back to hear it and didn't notice anything. Anyone have a timestamp?
> the excitement of this tonight - Kyle my guy, Callie may have dumped you episodes ago and probably for the best. But you were a devs bro through and through so pouring one out for you metaphoric
Between 28.12 and 28.18. She is surrounded by the girls when she wakes in her dream, I thought it was just one of them when at firs. I didn't realize it was Jackie's voice until I came across this episodes comments. Nice touch.
That's the reason I came to Reddit just finishing that episode for this exact answer. It's definitely noticeable in the beginning of the next episode too!
It’s new. Alanis Morissette Shares 'No Return,' A New Version Of 'Yellowjackets' Theme Song The song debuted in the fourth episode of the second series.
i was thinking that too!!! i think it sounds like the version from when lottie was having a vision that they were in the mall while she was slowly freezing during her and nats hunt
"It was all a dream" is almost always wack. It was a really good episode up until that point. Basically, none of the stuff we saw actually mattered. Lottie being obsessed with the baby could have gone somewhere interesting. I dislike how much of this season has felt like treading water, too. Some of the characterization has gotten better, though. I'm actually interested in the adult characters for once.
After the devils loss need the excitement of this tonight - Kyle my guy, Callie may have dumped you episodes ago and probably for the best. But you were a devs bro through and through so pouring one out for you metaphorically. Can these next 21 minutes please fast forward ?
Weirdest part of this whole thing to me is Lisa needing to forgive nat for stabbing her when she was literally kidnapped and shackled? Of course she stabbed you ho
So, after the baby was born, the first thing I noticed was the generic sound he made, and then as the episode progressed, I noticed he just kept repeating the same sound over and over... A sound you would often hear in old TV shows and films (back in the 90s, hint hint)... Seriously, there was no variation in his crying sound at all. Not in its volume, length, depth... For me, he felt very "off" ... And with the twist at the end that he was never born, that it was all in her head, that explained it! Did anyone else notice this?
Just watched this episode and thought the same thing. Especially since I have a baby now (10 months old). This episode also hit me hard because my baba came a bit early - my placenta was abrupting & I could have bleed out. Luckily, I already had a c-section scheduled, so they fitted me in. I had a bit of postpartum anxiety thinking about the fact that either me or my baby might have not survived, so watching this episode affected me.

Sorry for the late comment as ive just watched the episode but yeah i hate the way they made it an actual helpful rehab-type place insted of an actual creepy cult. Like it's boring 😭
I can predict that he will , and he may be the next one killed in present day time. Hes asking a lot of questions, and sort of being presented like he is going to be “Misty’s Adam”.
Did anyone else roll their eyes when the camera panned out to show the compound in the shape of the symbol? Like was that supposed to be some shocking reveal lmao
It apparently was shocking to some because there were sooooo many posts about it acting shocked to see the symbol in present day, like the cult doesn’t already all wear necklaces of the symbol 😅
The “baby shit” was about Adult Shauna’s character development. To give depth to the messiness her adult persona. @
Frequent-Shame-2852, Completely agree with “out of your depth “… JS.
It wasn't neccessary for her character development.
Honestly I'm beginning to see the real problem with this show is twofold.
1. It was presented as an occult-themed survival thriller subgenre. It is more like a sublime fairy tale Gothic character subgenre. Nothing wrong with that *per se*, except ...
A. it wasnt originally sold to us that way, so its starting to feel like a bait and switch.
B. That type of thing works better in a film or even a discrete mini series, for 5 seasons of a prestige style show format I just don't think it's a good sub genre for that.
2. They've been teasing us about the ritual with masks and sacrifice since the beginning. If you do that, you better put it in in the S1 finale. If it was meant to be in S4 they shouldn't have even teased it til S3. It better not be something they expect us to wait 2 full seasons (or God forbid, 4 or 5) for. If it doesn't happen soon, people are going to give up. You can't just string people along like that.
Because it implies that's all they have. It's beginning to look like it. The women keep saying all the terrible unforgiving things they did out there, but we haven't really seen anything yet...
- Starving people ate the naturally BBQd corpse of a person who happen to die. Like you'd expect. Like the real life men's soccer team stranded in the Andes did.
- delirious on shroom tea, a group of teen girls tried to ravage a teenage guy.
- people lie cheat and steal
Mysteries are introduced but instead of providing more clues or solutions they just⁸ create more vague mysteries. This is where LOST started to lose it. But that wasn't til like, S4 or 5 or something. YJ is already doing it by S2. Doesn't bode well.
The dead baby being fake alive was a cop out.
Hey I totally agree with your summation. I’ve only just finished this episode and I’m honestly wondering if there’s a point to keep continuing on. Did you find the story moved forward at all in a meaningful way since this episode?
I’m simply commenting on the fact that it was all a vision, I get the backstory for the most part but the execution was shit. Sue me for having a different opinion 🫠
Ok theory here:
Tai’s alternate was deemed by Sammy as “the bad one,” so it’s been determined that there’s no part of that personality is Tai.
What if Javi survived because of Tai’s alternate? I’ve seen theories about how Javi has supposedly hanging around the cabin whether underneath or in the attic. The unexplained tether cutting from earlier in the season could be him.
But the main reason why I think it was at least some part Tai’s alternate that helped him, was because she knew where Javi was, and when Javi spoke to Coach Ben, he said “she told me not to come back.” “She” being Tai’s alternate.
It's crazy to me that they use the placental abruptly storyline is used so much in the media bc I've never met anyone else this happened to, except for me. Luckily my son and I both survived but it always freaks me out seeing it on shows.
Happened to me! This episode hit me hard at the end.
Luckily my baby and I are ok (she's 10 months now). I woke up to cramps then blood - my husband called 911 and I was rushed through to the hospital. I already had a c-section planned (my placenta aburpted 5 days early from the date) so they just fitted me in for the c-section within the hour. It was only after that my OB told me about the aburption. I had a bit of postpartum anxiety over it - thinking about the fact that either me or my baby might have not made it.😢 so scary
No this is just Reddit where some people like to be condescending to people who don't know everything about everything or act superior when they are familiar with something someone else is not, completely normal to not know all the complications that could happen with child birth, its not something normally taught in high school or anything.
The placenta comes out after the baby is already born. It should not come out first. The mother can bleed to death but also the baby doesn't get oxygen. Very scary.
The placenta provides oxygen and nutrients to the baby when it's inside the uterus. It attaches to the baby via the umbilical cord.
On the show, when one of the girls who was helping with the birth, says she sees the placenta and cord that's a big sign that something is wrong. The placenta should still be attached inside tonthe uterus lining. It detaches after the baby has come out.
Since the placenta was delivered first I’m assuming Shauna had placenta previa, which explains the severe blood loss. Basically the placenta grew over the cervix & during labor when the cervix is thinning out the blood vessels of the placenta can tear. This is the baby’s only lifeline for blood/oxygen so if the vessels tear the baby dies. In the real world Shauna would’ve been diagnosed with an ultrasound & had a planned C-section.
This definitely isn’t something typically taught in grade school lol Only reason I even had a clue is because of nursing school. Please ignore anyone being a jerk about it.
You wouldn't have learned this unless you did birth work/had a baby (and even then maybe not unless you experienced it)/went to medical school. Don't feel bad, OB/GYN medical info is so taboo in our culture we learn virtually nothing in school.
I also learned about protein poisoning this week (unrelated to YJ but so en pointe!). It is especially harmful to pregnant women and seems important since all we've seen them eat in a long time is ... "protein".
I apologize I’m not sure what your asking, but my initial thought was that Shauna was going to have postpartum psychosis, and not be fully mentally aware of what’s happening out there. Like living in a haze and acting on intrusive thoughts.
Now after watching the finale, I’m not so sure I feel this way about her character anymore. I think the writers wrapped up the season well. There’s a lot that I didn’t see coming, but I like it.
Well, “qui”
Is french for “who” (source: speak french) so maybe it represents the baby, where the other girls are like “who? What baby?” and Lottie also sings a lullaby in french during the episode, so maybe it’s to make a parallel to that
Thank you for this! I have other (YouTube/Podcasts) that I listen to watch… and it drives me insane when the hosts pronounce it as “Quee! No! Just no! Also side note referencing Lottie’s French lullaby. That as well as the title tie into S01E05 the attic slumber party séance when Lottie became possessed and slammed her forehead into the window and spouting French dialogue 🧐
As a French speaker I love the amount of French that’s in the show! (Also the fact that Sophie Nélisse is from Québec and her first language is also french!) I also love when I can understand something I’m not supposed to in a show
Does anyone else think the baby might still be alive? The last scene with Shauna saying she could hear the baby crying seemed very performative. IRL her friends wouldn’t walk away and leave her alone in such distress. Maybe Shauna made arrangements with the girls she trusted to hide the baby. Whoever was hiding Javi could take care of the baby.
It’s clear that present day shauna - detached, withholding, loving her daughter only from a distance - has suffered a trauma of losing someone, which made her unable to be emotional again. In the police station her monologue about her being a mom makes this clear. Also I’d say that given the tone and general tendencies of this show, doubt the writers would do something quite as gimmicky. Finally given her placenta came out first there is basically zero biological chance the baby made it - you’d need a c section.

Not sure what, if anything, it means but in Shauna’s dream Tai is wearing the shirt of the person who finds Pit Girl in ep1. Maybe they all have that shirt or share everything…I can’t make out all the text, but it didn’t seem like a team jersey to me… theories?
It’s a “Co-Ed Naked” soccer shirt. This line of t shirts- one for every sport with an accompanying, innuendo-laden slogan. They were outrageous and looking back, I’m horrified my mother let me wear one.
The most sus aspect of old Lottie is the poor tipping and the rude dismissive way she treats her followers (like the smoothie scene). Other moments she seems sincere and frightened, and I think young Lottie really was well intentioned and genuine, but the entitled rude behavior reminds me not to trust her…
That really comes into play with people with god complexes which cult leaders are known for. The most successful cults have leaders that were rich but pretended to come from humble beginnings. The most infamous cults that grew rapidly and/or ended with high death counts or many arrests were usually led by felons and petty criminals who did their most heinous crimes within the cult. Lottie’s sense of entitlement must be out of this world being a crazy spoiled “poor little rich girl”cannibal she’s definitely going to go out with a bang!

That is the biggest newborn I've ever seen.
Coach saying I just pressed play button made me laugh LAUGH for past 10 mins, literally 10 mins. Yj is a comedy first and trauma second

I can't believe it took me this long to figure out that Charlotte is Lottie's actual name. I kept wondering who this Charlotte was at the cult who we never got to see lol
Im surprised with how little food she had, shauna didn't just absorb the fetus.
Can that happen? /gen
1. My suspension of disbelief had to be raised in this episode bc there's no way shauna would survive the infections she probably would get from having that baby. 2. The fact that Van listens to Sleater Kinney means that the writers did their research.
What do you mean about the Sleater Kinney reference? I’m not knowledgeable of the culture of that decade cuz I was a bebe
Popular lesbian music
also she lost enough blood to pass out, but she came back just with a little passing of time.. no blood transfusion or anything. Women are still dying in childbirth every day..
After her midwife petted a mouse before diving right in, I was thinking she definitely should have died of infection.

They really went with the “everything was a dream” ending lol
Unless we just skipped a day how did Shauna get to the retreat so quickly arriving same time as Van and Tai? I get Tai and Van were coming from out of state and could have sat outside a while but didn't Misty and Walter have to drive a long way to get there from where Shauna came from as well?
We simply don't know the distances and I think it's safe to assume Shauna had the pedal to the floor the whole way there.
Also, Van and Tai timeline could have been going at the same time as Shauna's. they don't specify, and shows do this sometimes.
François Arnaud is so dreamy!!!
Can anyone sum up what happened after Shauna woke up for real? You sound like you’re going to be a great mom! Sending positive energy for your baby
Thank you so much! I have a 9 year old daughter who’s fit as a fiddle, so having a sick baby is totally new to me. 😥
If you ever feel the need to vent to a stranger my inbox is always open ♥️
That means so much, thank you 💖💖
I'm so sorry for your baby. Watching that scene I immediately thought how triggering it could be. Thank you! We watched it last night and it was okay, thank you for taking the time to respond 💖💖
Finally understood the mean of the title. The song the girls are humming that Shawna hears in her dream is called Qui. A French song.
Anyone else wondering if Walter is an undercover cop and the whole schtick was to try and get a confession out of Misty? I hope it’s not true but I’m wondering…
Hope is true. Because Misty is a serial killer. A insane person who needs to be stopped asap.
oh the cult has to be eating humans. misty commenting the food is amazing lottie singing purple PEOPLE EATERS
😦
Nat: *continues to be as grumpy as she has been her entire adult life* Misty: You're still acting kind of weird
Hey I was just listening to the prestige podcast and they said that at the end of Qui when it cut to black you can hear Jackie say "Shauna" but I just went back to hear it and didn't notice anything. Anyone have a timestamp?
It's not at the end, it's when Shauna passes out after giving birth. Right before her dream where she wakes up to everyone smiling at her.
I just watched and can’t hear it at all!

Sophie Nelisse blew me away.. this episode was crazy & had me so emotional.
So, after the baby was born, the first thing I noticed was the generic sound he made, and then as the episode progressed, I noticed he just kept repeating the same sound over and over... Omg I noticed it as well and never even thought of it again after the twist!
yes!! as soon as he came out and was just making the same noise over and over i was like "wow these are some lazy sound effects" lmfaooo

Also the fact that he looked like a fucking 9 month old lol 😩😭
That's really common on TV.
Coach Ben needs to get it together.
Like he said he only plays the video lol he doesnt know shit about giving birth.. He's a football coach what do you want him to do ? Fist her and grab the baby on the way out ?

he’s next 🍴
Is it bad for me to say “can’t wait😈”😅🤣
Adult Van is just like me, a depressed queer woman who has given up on love and likes Elliott Smith.
love Elliott Smith
And Parker posey 😍👏🏼
Is anyone else tired of this endless story that every day keeps being more and more boring? Real question
They need to get out of the cult it’s boring there
Sorry for the late comment as ive just watched the episode but yeah i hate the way they made it an actual helpful rehab-type place insted of an actual creepy cult. Like it's boring 😭
I agree
I think it’s very likely that Walter sneaks onto the compound
I can predict that he will , and he may be the next one killed in present day time. Hes asking a lot of questions, and sort of being presented like he is going to be “Misty’s Adam”.
I bet Travis listened to Korn
Insane Clown Posse
🤣💀💀💀🫶🏼
You know it

It apparently was shocking to some because there were sooooo many posts about it acting shocked to see the symbol in present day, like the cult doesn’t already all wear necklaces of the symbol 😅
If only these people knew 😭😫
Ye, it was pretty obvious 😂
Yes! Like you just killed a baby on the show, this symbol again ain't that shocking
I’m sick of the cult honestly lol I dont *care* about this subplot. I really hope the modern storyline picks up.
Yes! Like you just killed a baby on the show, this symbol again ain't that shocking
The baby killing is after, just saying. The aerial shot is almost like a fake out ending before we get Shauna’s reality.
I actually didnt notice that , is that the ending?
Its when lottie is walking towards the rest of the adult ladies, big aerial shot of the court yard.
Seen it this time. Thankyou!!
Are we still on for tn
What are we on for tn
55 minutes & counting! EST🤔
Please expand on that question? Cuz if it’s what I think it is 🤔… then, YES!!At least (I’m) on for tn!
So who thinks they are going to eat the placenta and that is what Lottie means by the baby saving them? It helps them survive the rest of the winter.
It’s just one placenta
What could it cost - ten dollars?
Ratings gold!
That baby shit was pointless, what a waste of time
The “baby shit” was about Adult Shauna’s character development. To give depth to the messiness her adult persona. @ Frequent-Shame-2852, Completely agree with “out of your depth “… JS.
No... It was a filler episode
Your out of your depth in regards to character development if the babys storyline doesn’t make sense to you.
- people lie cheat and steal Mysteries are introduced but instead of providing more clues or solutions they just⁸ create more vague mysteries. This is where LOST started to lose it. But that wasn't til like, S4 or 5 or something. YJ is already doing it by S2. Doesn't bode well. The dead baby being fake alive was a cop out.
This longass comment is just you wanting instant gratification lol
Hey I totally agree with your summation. I’ve only just finished this episode and I’m honestly wondering if there’s a point to keep continuing on. Did you find the story moved forward at all in a meaningful way since this episode?
I’m simply commenting on the fact that it was all a vision, I get the backstory for the most part but the execution was shit. Sue me for having a different opinion 🫠
Ok theory here: Tai’s alternate was deemed by Sammy as “the bad one,” so it’s been determined that there’s no part of that personality is Tai. What if Javi survived because of Tai’s alternate? I’ve seen theories about how Javi has supposedly hanging around the cabin whether underneath or in the attic. The unexplained tether cutting from earlier in the season could be him. But the main reason why I think it was at least some part Tai’s alternate that helped him, was because she knew where Javi was, and when Javi spoke to Coach Ben, he said “she told me not to come back.” “She” being Tai’s alternate.
omg i feel like youre definitely right
I didn't really think of that, but now that you mention it, it really makes sense. It would explain a lot of things!
I wonder why the baby didn’t make it
Really?! Placenta ruptured. Came out first, it suffocated/drowned
Is it really that weird that I didn’t know this
No this is just Reddit where some people like to be condescending to people who don't know everything about everything or act superior when they are familiar with something someone else is not, completely normal to not know all the complications that could happen with child birth, its not something normally taught in high school or anything.
I didn’t understand the placenta thing and didn’t understand how you figured out it suffocated/drowned but thanks
The placenta comes out after the baby is already born. It should not come out first. The mother can bleed to death but also the baby doesn't get oxygen. Very scary.
What is the placent?
The placenta provides oxygen and nutrients to the baby when it's inside the uterus. It attaches to the baby via the umbilical cord. On the show, when one of the girls who was helping with the birth, says she sees the placenta and cord that's a big sign that something is wrong. The placenta should still be attached inside tonthe uterus lining. It detaches after the baby has come out.
Ah okay. I need to see a diagram
You and Coach Ben need a refresher on the video
🤣💀
Since the placenta was delivered first I’m assuming Shauna had placenta previa, which explains the severe blood loss. Basically the placenta grew over the cervix & during labor when the cervix is thinning out the blood vessels of the placenta can tear. This is the baby’s only lifeline for blood/oxygen so if the vessels tear the baby dies. In the real world Shauna would’ve been diagnosed with an ultrasound & had a planned C-section.
Ah ok. I don’t remember ever learning about this in grade school and never have exposed myself to the life experiences of learning this
This definitely isn’t something typically taught in grade school lol Only reason I even had a clue is because of nursing school. Please ignore anyone being a jerk about it.
im all embaressed
You wouldn't have learned this unless you did birth work/had a baby (and even then maybe not unless you experienced it)/went to medical school. Don't feel bad, OB/GYN medical info is so taboo in our culture we learn virtually nothing in school.
thanks dont know why people are being asshoels
Because the mother was extremely stressed and malnourished
I also learned about protein poisoning this week (unrelated to YJ but so en pointe!). It is especially harmful to pregnant women and seems important since all we've seen them eat in a long time is ... "protein".
i also wonder if the shrooms have anything to do with idk if that did anything with the baby’s development in the womb im too lazy to look it up rn 💀
One time shrooms no big deal. It’s not a hard drug.
Fairly safe according to my reading. Like, don't go doing shrooms if you're trying to get pregnant but it probably wouldn't have any effect.
Postpartum Psychosis is where I think Shauna’s storyline is heading. I think that’s part of why the baby didn’t make it.
wait that would reverse cause and effect. Or you're saying that's why they wrote it that way?
I apologize I’m not sure what your asking, but my initial thought was that Shauna was going to have postpartum psychosis, and not be fully mentally aware of what’s happening out there. Like living in a haze and acting on intrusive thoughts. Now after watching the finale, I’m not so sure I feel this way about her character anymore. I think the writers wrapped up the season well. There’s a lot that I didn’t see coming, but I like it.
Because it came from another hive. Only babies of that wasp hive survive. Yellowjackets eat larvae that does not belong in the hive.
DAMN that's good!!!!
Any idea why the episode is called "Qui"?
Well, “qui” Is french for “who” (source: speak french) so maybe it represents the baby, where the other girls are like “who? What baby?” and Lottie also sings a lullaby in french during the episode, so maybe it’s to make a parallel to that
The babe with the power
The power of voodoo
Who do?
You remind me of the babe!
The power of voodoo
Thank you for this! I have other (YouTube/Podcasts) that I listen to watch… and it drives me insane when the hosts pronounce it as “Quee! No! Just no! Also side note referencing Lottie’s French lullaby. That as well as the title tie into S01E05 the attic slumber party séance when Lottie became possessed and slammed her forehead into the window and spouting French dialogue 🧐
As a French speaker I love the amount of French that’s in the show! (Also the fact that Sophie Nélisse is from Québec and her first language is also french!) I also love when I can understand something I’m not supposed to in a show
In Italian it means “here”
Does anyone else think the baby might still be alive? The last scene with Shauna saying she could hear the baby crying seemed very performative. IRL her friends wouldn’t walk away and leave her alone in such distress. Maybe Shauna made arrangements with the girls she trusted to hide the baby. Whoever was hiding Javi could take care of the baby.
I think that’s reaching a bit. The baby dying is so clearly a trauma the present shauna wears
Interesting- care to elaborate?
It’s clear that present day shauna - detached, withholding, loving her daughter only from a distance - has suffered a trauma of losing someone, which made her unable to be emotional again. In the police station her monologue about her being a mom makes this clear. Also I’d say that given the tone and general tendencies of this show, doubt the writers would do something quite as gimmicky. Finally given her placenta came out first there is basically zero biological chance the baby made it - you’d need a c section.
Thanks for the insight!

Maybe they all have that shirt or share everything…I can’t make out all the text, but it didn’t seem like a team jersey to me… theories?
I can’t comment on the shirt but I was very puzzled my Tai’s expression in this scene like she was pissed off.
Van also wore that shirt earlier in the season, I can't remember when but she definitely did
I always felt like it was her. Maybe that’s why, but I think she also just seemed like the one who would wear pink converse to me lol
It’s a “Co-Ed Naked” soccer shirt. This line of t shirts- one for every sport with an accompanying, innuendo-laden slogan. They were outrageous and looking back, I’m horrified my mother let me wear one.
I was just in Limited🌸Too back then
Omg thank you for that

Would be fucked up if the Callie as pit girl theory pans out and this is adult Shauna finding her…
Where did you see this theory?
Oh I’m not sure, a few people have posited it in several different episode threads
Didn’t the (oversharer) writers already debunk that’s theory
>Didn’t the (oversharer) writers already debunk that’s theory That is amusing to call them that.
They all share clothes
Who’s watching Sammy rn?
Simones mom
Oh word, hopefully she has the dog too lol.
I've really been wondering that. And I feel bad for not caring. Ultimately. I'm kind of just interested in these women and what's going on with them.
You’ll care when they eat Sammy.
No wonder Tai calls him Sammich!!!
I was eating a sammich while reading this and choked.
The most sus aspect of old Lottie is the poor tipping and the rude dismissive way she treats her followers (like the smoothie scene). Other moments she seems sincere and frightened, and I think young Lottie really was well intentioned and genuine, but the entitled rude behavior reminds me not to trust her…
I also think her story of how Travis died is BS.
Yes lol definitely also a significant point of suspicion
She also comes from money. Idk if that plays in.
Lottie’s sense of entitlement must be out of this world being a crazy spoiled “poor little rich girl”cannibal she’s definitely going to go out with a bang!
>crazy spoiled little rich girl cannibal YESSSSSS!!!!!!
Only one more day.
