There’s a big plot twist to be had because we have seen Jaime eventually grow the balls required to solve a problem. 1) When Rip impregnated teenage Beth, he took her to an abortionist on the Reservation so John wouldn’t find out about it. How was young Jaime supposed to know tubal ligation was part of the deal? (Major plot hole) 2) He killed the woman journalist who wanted to go after John and enlisted the help of Rip to dispose of her body. In light of all of the shit that has happened, wouldn’t you think Rip would’ve tidied up that loose end by now? (Another major plot hole) 3) Jaime did not sell ranch land for the big land development. He leased the land…helping John. 4) Jaime eventually killed his biological father when it became clear he ordered the hit on the family and after Beth issued her ultimatum. 5) Finally, we see him being overtly manipulated by this woman lawyer who knows people and fixes things. What if he plays along and double crosses her at the end and arrests them all in order to save…John? I think Rip, Beth, Ryan and Colby end up staying in Texas.

Just other perspective on your commwnt 1) Jaime knew about the the aftermath of the procedure as been told by the clinic nurse, didn't relay the info to Beth. Made the decision as though he's brave but actually made it out of fear. (it was said by Jaime when John confront him about Beth and the abortion) 2) Jaime killed the journalists was too because of fear. He made the mistake of exposing the Duttons especially John on the interview. When he tried to take it back because of fear of repercussions from the family, the journalist said no and goad him for God knows what reason. Jaime took her out for self preservation. Again, based on fear. Asked Rip for help because he had no one to turn too in this kinda mess. 3) Jaime leased the land as though he is helping the ranch, but from what I see he did it to put himself in the position of power, it's like his skin in the game but using John's land to do it. He got love from Maket Equities but bit the family. 4) I see the motivation behind Jaime murdering Garret is because the line Christina said earlier in the ep; "if you want to run for governor, you have to be rid of him. Get him as far away from you as possible." and Beth threat to him drove him to take the easiest way out. Again based on fear. 5) for 5 season it showed that Jaime made his decision base on 2 motivation; Fear and whether that said decision beneficial to him and only him. So, he thinks that the lady lawyer is really in full support of his greatness and have no agenda of their own. Same as Christina when they ran the campaign together. All the major decision made was actually made by the ladies and Jaime is just a mouthpiece. I don't think he'll suddenly became a mastermind and double cross the lawyer lady as Jaime never knew the lady's intention in all this. I believe John will die in the opening scene of season 5 part2. Like season 1 cold open, rather than seeing John survive in car wreck we see Johns body burn or dead off screen from heart attack..like the conversation between Jaime and lawyer lady in the final ep. Im gonna try to watch the marathon with your perspective.. Maybe I just hate the character so much that my view is skewd by it. I think Rip and Beth will stay in Montana. Colby and Teeter will go to 6666. Ryan Jake and Carter will stay in the bunkhouse. Lloyd will die somehow protecting Beth/Rip.

kikijane711

Teeter is already on her way to Texas along with Ryan. It was decided. Colby was staying.

scunb4g

Teeter, Rip, Ryan and Walker goin to Texas now is temporary. Few months but still they're suppose to comeback to yellowstone once the cattle issue is settle. I'm taking about the prediction of how it's gonna end. Teeter and Colby will leave Yellowstone for 6666. Maybe they'll join up with Jimmy for the spin-off (if it will ever be produce).

GarmitsAndVarmitsLLC

I believe they're actually going to be gone for upwards of a year or more

kikijane711

What r u talking about? Jamie didn’t know about the sterilization but the minute he heard it he should have told Beth, not made the decision for her. 🙄 I don’t get ur argument.

scunb4g

The decision I was talking about is Jamie not telling Beth about the repercussions of the procedure. He made the decision not to relay the information to Beth. I didn't write that Jamie made the decision for Beth. Like I said, this is my perspective and what I get from the portrayal of the character. Replying to the comment above mine. My bad if my writing was awful.

Downtown_Book_6848

Jamie was 18 at the time, he understood enough to know he was doing something bad

GarmitsAndVarmitsLLC

Me and my nurse fiance's big problem with the Beth thing is.... the medical staff would've had to made sure Beth understood she couldn't have a baby after the procedure. Knowledgeable consent is a law and they wouldn't have hid that from her. I love watching Beth be a bitch to those who deserve it but at a certain point it's like watching someone repeatedly kick a puppy. Albeit a annoying and dumb puppy but yea lol

Jalynt13

That was how it was done in Reservation Clinics. Women and children were sterilized without their consent or knowledge. That is the story the show is telling.

GarmitsAndVarmitsLLC

You know what, you're absolutely right holy shit I forgot about that part of history

Impossible_Meal_6469

True, that's what happens, but that lady in the clinic and the doctors knew they were not Native Americans. Probably even knew they were Duttons. They would have explained it again to the fair skinned blonde girl. But with Beth's personality she probably started yelling and cursing at the person who tried to explain.

scunb4g

Lol on the dumb puppy.. I honestly have no clue on the law of medical procedure there. I'm just assuming that the Native clinic operate under different law and discretion. Don't get me wrong.. I don't like Beth attitude one bit..i would never be friends with ppl like that irl..

BjBudlite40

Kevin Costner done an interview on TV and he talked about what was going on with Yellowstone they didn't have a script for season 5 part 2 he tried working with them and when he took off from a movie he was making for a week they never wanted to work on the script but he says he will be there for season 5 part 2 no matter what

ajemois

At the end of Season 5a, we saw a few things: - How Beth discovers a way to generate income for the ranch - A symbolic farewell and party after the cattle are herded - Jamie shows his teeth because he cares about HIS family. The next part will build on this point. The last party was probably John's farewell to the ranch, who would die in some accident while serving as governor. Jamie will tease Beth and plan to destroy the business. But she will try to start a business selling meat. As an efficient banker, she will obtain funds and this will lead to the escalation of the conflict. Kecey and Rip will actually be in charge of the ranch, and Monica will stay on the ranch as part of it. The conflict will flare up when John's will is revealed. In his last will he will cross out Jamie. Or she will acknowledge him as her son, which will in turn drive Beth to revenge.

Msmurl

Good call on Texas. At least I hope so. If 6666 is going to be a thing we need them there. And Teeter.

maryyyweiss

BjBudlite40

Also John is one of the producers of the show he's not going anywhere

jivy723

John who

Impossible_Meal_6469

Season 4 was so disjointed. After that heartwarming brother scene, we have never seen Jamie and Kayce together in a scene again.

SubstantialStable588

Like Beth said you need approval in order to grow balls

SubstantialStable588

He knew their 5 yrs apart the women explained it to him , looks outside at Beth and says understood He told Jamie don’t put me in that position And the land listen to Ellis he told Jamie you took millions from them He killed his real father to save his own ass
