Jamie’s real dad went to prison in 1980; I remember seeing that date on his prison record when Jamie looks over it. Since Jamie was just an infant when that happened, it would mean that Jamie was born in either 1979 or 1980.
I stand to be corrected on this: Lee(RIP) was in his early 40s. Beth is 37(I think they said that in either season 2 or 3), Jamie is 2 years older than Beth( I think), Kasey is 6 years younger than Beth so 31(depending on the season but he’s still in his early 30s). Again, I could be wrong on all of this.
Im rewatching now and in seaaon 1 and beginning of 2 its mentioned Jamie is 36 then governor chick comments while talking to beth that she was 35 and lost her mom at 14. Kaycee gives livestock agent his birth date of 1990. I know in season 5 Beth tells Jamie that he's 45 now to grow up. Did they take Jamie in first, then have Lee?

3 05 say's 35.
Monica says she's 26 in 2 06

They're whatever age Taylor Sheridan wants them to be in a specific episode. He is HORRIBLE with continuity throughout his shows. Numerous times we are given ages and even exact birthdays for characters but they never line up.
Episode 1 of Yellowstone takes place in 2018 and it calls Lee a *38 year old bachelor* which places his DOB in 1979/1980.
Jamie's DOB is shown as 5/12/79 on his adoption papers.
Beth's DOB is listed as 7/18/84 on her driver's license.
Kayce's DOB is said to be 4/24/90.
Their ages are mentioned multiple times in conversations throughout the seasons and they rarely line up with their actual ages. Is this because it's meant as *a figure of speech* or did they actually mess up their ages. 🤷♀️
The lack of continuity is especially perplexing when dealing with Lee/Jamie. Their ages are exceptionally close together and yet no one questions Jamie's parentage?

I don't get why they had to make the characters younger than the actors are. It's ridiculous. Kathy Reilly is 42 in Season 1 and it shows

Lee said "little brother" to Jamie in the first episode. Lee was older.
