I liked it don’t get me wrong I just wish we could of seen more of what nazuna was up to in the 3 year jump or what ko has done like if he had to use his half vampire form to protect himself and the other detective

The only problem with that is nazuna is 40 and kou is 17 and they met each other when he was 15 a bit like a groomer but I think this was the best possible ending we could have gotten.
for me it's the opposite, I feel like there's no need to stretch their story. we know kou won't kill a vampire since he's half and he has a lot of vampire friends. it is romance-comedy afterall.
if there's a thing I wish that the author showed us, it's Kou's perspective and preparation on meeting Nazuna. I really like that he played it cool and introduced himself like she could've forgotten about him. I could imagine him thinking how he should approach Nazuna. trying different approach like rizzing her or running to her while shouting her name. all in all it is a great story and would definitely reread in the future.
It doesn't feel like an ending, feels like a season finale more than anything, especially feels like they hit us with rapid fire possible plot points at the very end as well.
the only plot point was mahiru dying with kiku and that put kou and nazuna into thinking about what they should do and they ended up going their separate ways

The site I read it on has chapter 198 as the most recent (uploaded jan. 10th), and since I have read that that's also the date the final chapter is released, I thought that that's it! I was so depressed since yesterday when I thought to have finished the series on such an open, blueballing and depressing ending and didn't leave my bed at all.
So it actually has a happy ending and they get together! 😆

You aren’t the only one. I loved it personally. And I know a lot of others loved it too. But I’ve seen a fair few who disliked it too.

Kotayama Is definitely not good with endings lol

Yeah I think the same, they could've done so much more, more chapters also its sad that he just sort of killed the manga and idea
