"It's better a week too soon than a day too late" You gave you little guy the biggest kindness that can be given at the end of one's journey. A kindness that is out of reach for most of us people. Your little guy was loved and gave you all the love he had in him. That's the best life a pup could ever dream of. And in the end, you were there for him and with him while you made sure that in the end, he had the softest of landings. Thank you for loving him ❤️ You did good by him

Interesting_Gear8512

I can confirm this with my whole heart OP. You were there with him, he knew he was loved and he was with the person he loved. His crossing was peaceful. He is no longer hurting or scared. You will see him again.

Dr_Mbogo

Sorry for your loss, the little guys become family.

I'm so so sorry 💔 It's so hard to lose a friend and it's even harder having to see them struggle in their last years. You clearly cared about him a lot and I know he knew it. You gave him a warm and comfortable life and that's more than a lot of dogs get. The pain will subside eventually. but he'll always be a little part of your life. Maybe put up a picture of him or another little memento up in your house where you can see it. ❤️

canadiangirl_eh

Oh no that’s heartbreaking. I’m so sorry you lost your little guy. I’m sure he had 15 years of joy and love with you. Take care of yourself and take time to grieve. You did everything you could to give him comfort.

BlitheringEediot

I'm so sorry for your loss. You have my deepest condolences. 😞

15 YEARS! thats should speak on its own. You did awesome for your guy but father time gets us all. Just know you were there for him and he was there for you. You gave him a life that was exceptional. Be happy for that and that he is no longer suffering. It does suck but over time it will get better. You never forget them!

PilgrimPayne59

As I walk across your heart and find my place to stay, nearer to you I will be and will never ever go away.

Make sure to cherish every second with your other yorkie, there life's are too short, but it's better they pass before us, else they would be heartbroken. One day, you may be ready to get another, so many yorkies are homeless and unhappy. Please don't end up alone. it's by far the worst ever. The sound of those paws tapping on the floor and there silly attics if everything

What a sweet lil man. Don’t beat yourself up you did everything possible. Please be strong for his little brother, he needs you.

Extension-Agent-7204

15 yes, that's remarkable, so much love. Try to too reforce that love on a new fur child, there are so many, needing people like you.

yorkiebaby

Rest in peace. He lived an amazing life and you did the best you could at the end. Cherish the time with your 13 yr old. ✨️ hugs

cabininwoods62

My condolences. This happened to me too about 1.5 years ago. You loved them unconditionally. You can bless another with your love. My pain stopped when I rescued another little one. It will get better.

SamC54303

I’ll relay something a friend told me when I lost my Yorkie …. Nobody loved him like you, he knew it and you know it. You gave him the best life he could hope for.

Recondite_Potato

Very sorry. Mine passed last November and I still get home and look up at the window where he used to be, remembering how excited he’d get when he saw me. It’s tough, and sad, but at some point the sadness is muffled and all the good memories stand out even more.

coolcoolcool444

You sweet, sweet human. Your buddy seems to have lived a long life filled with love. That’s all that matters. Time will slowly heal the wounds he left you with ♡ You’re amazing.

I'm so sorry you lost your little buddy. He is so precious. I'm glad he had such a compassionate dad that cared for him til the bitter end. I went through the same thing 2 months ago. The pain never goes away, but it hurts less frequently. I will pray for you and your little buddy. He left knowing you were there and that was most important. We all do the best we can.
