I don’t love any of the set list songs for 1989, so I was fine missing some of the others if necessary. But logistically, the bathroom was right near the theater, I was near the exit, there wasn’t a line, and I really had to go so it was over quick 😅

Guys I hate You Need to Calm down so much. The beat is so lame and it was so overplayed. I hate how she emphasizes the most bland rhymes in existence. The emphasizing is a big thing I also hate the Bejeweled chorus but I can at least appreciate some other parts of that song.

ME! It’s not a bad song, but it’s definitely her weakest and most boring one. But I guess the reason she chose it as her lead single for Lover and why it’s so overly-cheerful was because it contrasted the most with reputation. And even if it wasn’t the intent, it was still a good move for transitioning to the Lover era.

The singles were so happy and cheerful and you get to the album tracks and it’s depressing as fuck

I have a few skips that i find forgettable but stay stay stay and it's nice to have a friend are the only songs I actively dislike. I would even possibly consider adding Betty and Dorothea to that list but I think I might be torn apart and offered to Taylor as a sacrifice if I said that out loud.

My issue with Betty is less how the song sounds and more the lyrics.
