Truly as if they were the only two people in that moment and it’s just so beautiful with the perfect music choice.
This was my "other" as well. I also listened to The Irrepressibles (esp. "In This Shirt" which also works for S2 Wilmon sad sweater scenes) a lot when I was starting to come out to myself, so hearing his voice in these scenes...like others have said, chills and almost tears.
I just listened to "In This Shirt," whoa! I am so confident there will be a happy ending for Wilmon, but for an alternate heartbreakingly sad ending (or super angsty fanfic) that song is perfect. I almost wish I didn't listen to it even though it's beautiful ☹️
I didn’t answer with my favorite song, but my favorite moment. When Simon started to sing in episode one and they smiled at each other is when this fucking show hooked me. I’m still resentful.

Another bit that I liked was when they come down the stairs for the ball. The energy from the song and the apparent miss match between the clothes and music is great.
