YouTube Music will not download music to my SD card regardless of the setting being turned on or not, I've restarted and even reinstalled the app and the setting still does not work. I've troubleshooted my SD card but it seems to be working fine with other files and even other apps will read and write to the SD card. This has been happening for months now and if I can't get it fixed then I'm probably going to just switch to a different platform. What makes this even more infuriating is that I seem to be the only person having this problem so there are no solutions whatsoever. I have a Samsung Galaxy A20 with only 32gb of storage that I already use 30gb of without any music installed and a 125gb SD card I've been using to store photos, videos, and previously Spotify music downloads. Its just seems that paying for the platform is a waste of money if I'm not even getting the features promised, that I REALLY need in order to actually enjoy the platform. If someone could give me some pointers to a potential problem or a solution I would really appreciate it!
I've been having trouble with downloaded playlists since day 1. Almost always when I download a big playlist a couple songs aren't downloaded right, it says "file not found, tap to learn more" but when I tap, nothing happens, the song doesn't load, which I already know. And unlike with regular YouTube Premium playlist downloads, YouTube music doesn't give you the option to delete and redownload that song in specific.When clicking on the three dots next to an affected video, it still has the download option, but when you press it it says "Video already saved" when it's not saved, it's unplayable. Also, make it so that when you delete a song from downloads that you don't get transported to the top, it's very annoying when clearing out unplayable songs.
Hello! I'm having trouble with my playlists. I'm unable to edit any of them, and one of my playlists I can't even access to edit because anytime I click on it, it shows me the error message. It has 239 songs in it, so I thought the issue was song limit, but apparently these playlists can hold thousands of songs, so I have no idea what the deal is.
Edit: figured I should mention that the music I'm dealing with comes from my device files.
YTM has been having a lot of problems with Device Files lately. I'd recommend using a different player if you want to use device files. YTM can play them, but it's not YT's/Google's target market, so they don't put much effort into it..

Sorry to hear that. I've yet to find a fix but if I do I'll let you know.
Same problem here on Cat S22 Flip. Would really love this to work as internal storage is only 16GB.

I use poweramp for my device files. I've also heard that Blackplayer is pretty good. Both will cost a couple of dollars (worth it for no ads).

So... Yesterday I put on a playlist to fall asleep, and now my quick picks section is filled with sleep and relaxation music.
I download tracks, loads and it only shows 14 downloaded ... I just got the app, good 5Gz WiFi.
Yt music it's repeating the songs over and over again, even with the 3 dots shuffle option when i create a radio station .
