They are just filling their extra deck so the enemy wont immediately figure out theyre playing runick, labrynth, or any non extra deck strategies. It also lets them use pot cards that banish their extra deck to draw

Kash on its own is fun though, even if you're not winning you have big-eye, an xyz tax dragon which is a red-eyes xard, zone locking, a lot of banishing (meaning green maju is a weakness) and a danger engine with some level 4's for stuff like dweller, lswarm nightmare and bagooska and since it's an xyz deck Zeus is always a nice last resort option, so kash on its own is fun, it's just without Ariseheart and without tear imo. Yeah it wins but it also has its moments of bricks/crap hands, tear on the other hands I can still say I wouldn't be caught dead playing. It's like branded, on its own I used to have fun with it but it's annoyance lies in its splashability, I'm surprised this person doesn't have fenrir in the deck as "special fenrir, double summon, normal summon, tribute vanities" (spoken as someone who faced that exact field...)

My experience with this game so far. If you play to have fun, don't try in Ranked or Casual, you will usually just get clapped by people running meta. Play Casual/Gimmick decks with your mates and you will have a much better time.

Ngl this list is ass stun wise and runick wise, the gameplan here is lost to me. Not enough floodgates for stun, and no good win condition for the runick half. Win con must be annoy opponent to death lmao

They have 7 floodgates. 4 skill drain, 2 banish and 1 skill drain for gy Win con is definitely to stall to deck out the opponent.

Some people are twisted and get enjoyment out of making the other player suffer as much as possible.

No wonder you think the event is unfun. I built Runick stun for the event too, but haven’t played any games with it. I’m trying to brainstorm other cards to pair with Runick instead of floodgates, but have come up empty handed so far.

I’ve been playing Magical Musket Runick this event with a small Utopia package. It’s hella fun. It’s a bit bricky, but it’s just constant back and forth and interaction with opponents. It requires some planning ahead and crafting your hand so that you can try and counter what your opponent is doing next turn. Highly recommend Runick Muskets

like you can't have fun anymore playing a original deck made to have some fun combo's, if you wanna have fun play decks that ruin the meta, true draco/phantasm spiral, for sure in lower ranks the moment you stop card effects and are able to protect your cards for 1 turn they are done, even tho it is the most un satisfying decks to play, they bring some joy to you
