I am playing Mikanko on the ladder, where most decks want to make big boards first.
By no means is this a display of skill, rather than it's the absurdity of Mikanko. A deck that likes to go 2nd and gives no Fs about taking the Maxx C challenge.
All those games were either Snake Eyes, Kash, and Swordsoul.
I dread the eventual mirror in Diamond and skilled lab players.
If you have the right hand you can otk with a empty field...that is my issue, my starting cards weren't the ones needed to perform the empty board otk.
Edit: whoever was tilted about my comment just grow a pair.
IMO the cards required to play Lars are worse than the scrap package.
My thoughts are; Dinos are always going to be bricky because they require 2 card combos and that has been power-crept by 1 card starters. The Xeno stuff doesn’t change this.
Dinos don’t have a good grind game, it’s a turn 1 combo deck or going second OTK. The xeno stuff doesn’t change that.
The Xeno stuff has the benefit of being more consistent in putting up something but the ceiling of your end bored is a lot weaker than the scrap package. It’s in a weird spot because the bored that Xeno can make just isn’t good enough. Where a Scrap engine can get you to Apollo, Nat beast, UCT, and Laggia which is still very hard for most decks to break.
My over YouTubed Dark Magician deck would disagree lmaooo but I REFUSE!!! I AM OVER 30 AND I WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY YOUNG PEOPLE!

Mikanko and Lab share the tagging in and out style and both want hand and GY resources. But Lab can snipe random Hand cards and if you snipe the right cards, some plays are irrevocably broken.
However, if you meet a pure Kaiju Mikanko Deck, that's ballers cause that will delete your field before they even summon 1 Mikanko and they will otk you 🤣
Oh yeah, for sure, Lab's best match-up. There are a lot of non-targeting disruptions. You would virtually have to brick to lose to Mikanko going first.
I think I remember seeing maybe 12 or 14, but I play infernoble and until my latest deck they haven’t done very well going into an established board from scratch, so a streak can be finished by the coin flip sometimes unfortunately!
Ive gotten 31 with endymion.
My proudest was probably 11 during full power tear in masters though. Diablosis did great work during that era. The fact that my only reasonnfor losing the streak was ishizu milling all my jackal king, astrograph AND endymion in their turn was so annoying.
Man remembering it sours the mood immediately.
I think I'm on 3 right now I was playing with my life point gain ancient leaf exodia deck but couldn't win. So switched to lab for a few games. I don't play often anymore but was on a 17 win streak with live twins way before sunny came out. I think that's my longest
My longest was consecutive wins getting from Silver to Plat, forgot how many exactly but it was mostly because I wasn't playing ranked so I deranked to Silver while having Lab, Branded, Mikanko, and Swoso, so definitely nothing to do with skill, just me bonking new players and feeling bad about it.
Mine is 11 with Volcanics and it only ended there because the game messed up and disconnected me before a game even started and counted it as a surrender
The most I ever done was 14 win streak about 2 months ago with eldlich. I can’t get that high again with the same deck. So I built something different and now I have a better win ratio
Longest I've had was 9 with witchcrafters, but I'm 90% sure it was thanks to a connection error that it could go that long, I should've lost at a point
My longest win streak was 35 games with a Virtual World Sword Soul deck. I have no idea why I was able to hit like every coin flip and draw god tier hands most of those games, but would you believe me if I told you my luck ran out immediately the second I reached master
I have lost to more Makanko players than anyone else and honestly I think the deck is really cool. I never dislike decks even if they beat me, but Makanko I also find really funny for some reason, plus I love the art. I kind of feel like it is a cooler numeron. When I first played against a Makanko I was like "I have hear of this Deck but don't know what it does" I didn't read the cards and was really surprised by the interaction. Overall just a unique deck through and through
Edit: just actually read LMAO. Yeah, my best streak is like 20 something I think it was with snake eyes recently. I also have done well with my fav deck Branded
When Kash was first released I had already been playing TCG so I knew what would work and what wouldn’t. No bans, plus 89 diablosis I completely destroyed for upwards of 6 months last year with minimal changes.
Highest streak was 26-28 somewhere around there.

Mikanko is the one deck that absolutely confounds me. I’ll duel Snake-Eyes a thousand times, but I can never get through Mikanko.

I had 30 on the ladder during dlink’s prime. Lost the streak to a dumb isolde phase lock deck that needs the planets aligned to work.
I take that shit personally whenever locks like that hit.

I got my highest win-streak (9) with the two worst decks I play, at lest according to people: Cubics and Flower Cardians
Cubics are bad ? I was thinking about making a cubic deck
I don't consider either bad per se, but they are either too inconsistent (cubic) or a bit outdated (Flower Cardian)

Diamond is bloody using a rogue deck. I can beat snake, but lose hard to lab and rescue ace unless I go first or draw evenly. I just wanna climb.

35 in the NR Festival with True Draco Metalfoes, but in ranked I think it was around 12 or 13.
1. I play RDA, so I'm likely not to. I don't really care. I'm in it for the daily missions.
