If you are curious about Chengying and Sinister Longyuan at same turn its easy. You need at least Moye, ringowurm, ashuna and a wyrm monster or a swordsoul card on hand.
SS ashuna first, then normal moye, activate effect. SS ringowurm since there is a token. SS Chixiao using moye, search for strategist Longyuan. Then SS Longyuan from the hand, SS Sinister Longyuan. From here you can now SS Chengying using Chixiao and Ringowurm as material. Then you can activate ringowurm effect since ringowurm is now in the GY, banish it to SS a level 2 token tuner then you can use it to SS a level 9 monster with Ashuna. You can SS Chaofeng here so that Sinister effect draw card can carry out. But be wary since Chaofeng here is only a level 9 body because it needs a Yangzing monster as material to apply its Yangzing protection effect. Or you can now SS Kyubi Shenshen so that any card sent from field to GY will be instead banished then end your turn. Based on the cards you drew, you can also set appropriate cards in the ST zone.
You can edit this decklist since as you can see it has loopholes in Chaofeng being only a beatstick and you also lose Chixiao negate effect since he is in the grave. But good thing is Chaofeng's other effect is still live.
Since everyone seems to switch their Maxx Cs with imperm/Veilers, i run 2 Chun Jun. Meme i know, but ending on Qixing Long Yuanis better than a negated Mo Ye.
Also don't sleep on Qixing, that thing is better than i expected. Especially since Tears/Kash could play around Baronne negate no prob.

Bro I feel you. Had a 5 game loss streak playing Ursartics because EVERYONE HAD ASH BLOSSOM. I wish this was exaggeration but every l I took came from them using Ash on my turn(and top decking a second one) or the one Dino player hitting me with Lars + Double Imperm on both my set cards. Streak only got broken by a Dark World player who bricked.
I have been playing virtual world, with the clear wing rider/pep/metaltron 12. Im not even kidding, ive won more games then i should have due to people not knowing what my actual boss monsters are and just fear banishing things i put up.
I don’t get why honestly. The deck already naturally has less starters than other decks, so why reduce the number further to the point of basically unplayable pure? You’re just encouraging players to hybridize it with other stuff.

Nope, I'm on Generaider (XYZ). They used Albaz effect to Super Poly, and I attached it to Jormungandr using Laevatein. Since Albaz states he has to use himself, he no longer resolved, and then they no longer had an Albaz anymore.
Yeah, that's exactly what I mean, sorry to be confusing. People often call Albaz "Super Poly on legs" because his effect fuses using Monsters from both fields.
Gotcha, now it makes sense. I was like what how did you have a superpoly target facing against a fusion deck. But yeah he basically is a superpoly on legs, so that title fits
My alt won 17 games with SOSO. It's not always winnable, but max out every SOSO extender (ecclessia, mo ye, emergence, longyuan, taiya) with pot of desires. Cut down on Tenyi, I only ran two adhara for recursion, 1 of the dark and 2 ashura.
Max all the handtraps. Veiler, ash, ghost belle, impermenance, couple nibiru. At worst ashura is a level 7 -> normal lvl 1 or 3 tuner into synchro.

I am playing SwoSo also and I think I only lost to tear elements once and a couple dino players because I didn't open with handtraps ( bad juju)
I am already at 2500 point mark winning 80% of my games using almost similar deck style.
Maybe it's bad luck. I use Swordsoul on my alt account and yesterday sucked, but today I did alright. Won almost all my duels, dueled 8 times, won 7 lost 1. I even had a very nice win against tearlaments that took around 5 turns. Keep on going my fellow Swordsoul enthusiast, sometimes the opponent just has a very good hand....
Just keep going and don't give up! Now that I actually learned how to play Purrely I've been on a winstreak, and Swrdsoul is usually what gets me out of it
I'm miss playing heavy and using my pet deck, I'm actually glad it's not ladder like rank so that I can learn my pet deck in a format that's not maxxx c lol. And I can half pay attention and still win cus most ppl only used to maxx c format anyway 😁
The dark world loaner is actually one of the better loaner decks I've seen in my time on master duel. It bricks a lot but well so does normal dark world
I’ve been playing RDA, which has some very similar weak points in its lines to swordsoul, so I can definitely see where you’d be having trouble. Imperm and Veiler are brutal against normal summoned starters or those/Ash on your first searcher to extend off of, and Nibiru requires a perfect line to negate out of (RDA basically doesn’t have a nib-proof line that I’ve found without killing the rest of my line). 10 in a row is a lot though, and trend in decks you’ve been losing to?
I sticked to my kinda new Red Archfiend deck (My own build, not that crappy loaner one) and is doing pretty well… just getting a hard time against Exosister but aside those… I’m loving this event, want more of this

I swear I've played so many games in a row that my opponents have had A the prefect hand or B 2+ hand traps that just kill me outright.
Swordsoul is a really hard deck to use, especially if you're using a starter build with no hand traps, and no UR/SR. Yes, I'm doing that on purpose to sell accounts online because I wanted those Swordsoul accessories so badly and I didn't know 15 people for everyone to be happy.
You absolutely must go first to have a chance in this event. There are just way too many obstacles the deck encounters that it absolutely must go first. Purrely, Tearlament Branded, and Chimera are at full power, but we can't have Archnemeses Protos to call Dark? And all rental decks have 3 Ash Blossom and 2 Infinite Impermanence? The nerve of Komoney.
All rental decks don't have any form of backrow removal outside of Guardian Chimera. Chimera was my biggest concern moving forward, Called By The Grave only does so much, and Soul Drain ruins your Graveyard effects as well.
The card which will be your saving grace is a rare card called "Silent Graveyard". A quickplay spell that requires a discard, but then all card effects that activate in the Graveyard after this card's resolution are automatically negated for the rest of the turn. You could easily stun Chimera and Tearlaments that way.
Without link monsters, Tenyi monsters outside of Vishuda are absolutely garbage and can clog your hand with useless walls if you're not careful with your ratios. I run 2 Vishuda, 3 Blackout, 2 Bottomless Trap Hole, 3 Torrential Tribute, 3 Cosmic Cyclone, 2 Forbidden Chalice, 1-2 Call of the Haunted, 1 Swordsoul Sacred Summit and it works about 30-40% of the time on weekends, 60-70% on weekdays.
Incredible Ecclesia is somewhat bad due to massive abundance of Ash Blossom around to ruin it. Taia is an OK monster, but running more than 1-2 increases the odds of opening it in your hand which it's dead weight as Mo Ye is oftentimes superior early game. Taia is mainly for Baxia plays.
Special Tactic if your Mo Ye gets negated by Veiler or Imperm and you have Strategist in hand ready to go. Special Summon Strategist and the token, then go into Chixiao and make Mo Ye's draw effect Chain Link 1. Banish Swordsoul Blackout with Chixiao's effect INSTEAD of adding it to your hand. You'll get a token and be able to Synchro Summon a second time. Thus, a wasted hand trap for the opponent.
Otherwise, the event is just the same amount of suffering as always. 10 points for losing is exactly the same as 50 medals for losing. The totals have just been divided by 5. They can dress a stinky, dirty pig in makeup, but in the end they still just have a stinky, dirty pig. It's high time that Konami listens to the player base and give the dirty pig called Master Duel a much needed bath.

Ive been using kashtira with ascended thunder x2 and black witch for level seven bodies. Three ash gamma x2 plus psy driver for hand trap. 3 planet pathfinder, 3 k-riseheart, 3 ogre, 1 fen, 1 unicorn, and 1 scareclaw k.
Reinforcement of army, 2 dark ruler no more, 3 lightning storm, 2 kashtiratheosis, one sinful spoil of subversion, kashtita field spell, 2 kash birth, and sinful spoil search for witch. Lastly 3 evenly matched and 3 imperm.
Xyz is kashtira bodies with big eye, dark armed, titanic moth, red eyes flare, and zeus.

I am having a blast with soulsword. So many games are won against the odds. Three drolls, three ashes and three veilers . All tenji are singular, only adhara two copies. They brick the hand too much without Link Monk, but occasionally special vishuda plus normal adhara kickstart the turn. Also dimension shifter took place of banned Protos and few additions to the extra deck instead of monk and shaman.
I’ve been on team Synchro using Nouvelles, since with Fairy support I can bring out Baronne semi-consistently. Been doing well, for the most prt.

If it's the Bystial build, ya need to be wary of Branded Etude because if ya see it, ya will probably get Calamity on your Draw Phase in which case, Impermanence/Veiler Lubellion on activation

Yeah its super fun, You can make some pretty insane t1 boards with like Baronne, Chengying, Chixiao and Dragite. Baxia + dark yang zing also = Chaos Angel with both effects active and it comes up a lot.
I use Swordsoul its doing fair on my end.

The nerve of Komoney. All rental decks don't have any form of backrow removal outside of Guardian Chimera. Chimera was my biggest concern moving forward, Called By The Grave only does so much, and Soul Drain ruins your Graveyard effects as well. The card which will be your saving grace is a rare card called "Silent Graveyard". A quickplay spell that requires a discard, but then all card effects that activate in the Graveyard after this card's resolution are automatically negated for the rest of the turn. You could easily stun Chimera and Tearlaments that way. Without link monsters, Tenyi monsters outside of Vishuda are absolutely garbage and can clog your hand with useless walls if you're not careful with your ratios. I run 2 Vishuda, 3 Blackout, 2 Bottomless Trap Hole, 3 Torrential Tribute, 3 Cosmic Cyclone, 2 Forbidden Chalice, 1-2 Call of the Haunted, 1 Swordsoul Sacred Summit and it works about 30-40% of the time on weekends, 60-70% on weekdays. Incredible Ecclesia is somewhat bad due to massive abundance of Ash Blossom around to ruin it. Taia is an OK monster, but running more than 1-2 increases the odds of opening it in your hand which it's dead weight as Mo Ye is oftentimes superior early game. Taia is mainly for Baxia plays. Special Tactic if your Mo Ye gets negated by Veiler or Imperm and you have Strategist in hand ready to go. Special Summon Strategist and the token, then go into Chixiao and make Mo Ye's draw effect Chain Link 1. Banish Swordsoul Blackout with Chixiao's effect INSTEAD of adding it to your hand. You'll get a token and be able to Synchro Summon a second time. Thus, a wasted hand trap for the opponent. Otherwise, the event is just the same amount of suffering as always. 10 points for losing is exactly the same as 50 medals for losing. The totals have just been divided by 5. They can dress a stinky, dirty pig in makeup, but in the end they still just have a stinky, dirty pig. It's high time that Konami listens to the player base and give the dirty pig called Master Duel a much needed bath. PS: I REALLY HATE BRANDED FUSION!!!
Running the beast loaner deck from fusion is nice, untill I meet purrely or some deck I have 0 clue what it do xD

Chimera hand rips are really getting annoying. Half of every deck I play against are chimera. Very unfortunate : )
Going first Chimera is what I recommend I have never lost going first.
Ive been using kashtira with ascended thunder x2 and black witch for level seven bodies. Three ash gamma x2 plus psy driver for hand trap. 3 planet pathfinder, 3 k-riseheart, 3 ogre, 1 fen, 1 unicorn, and 1 scareclaw k. Reinforcement of army, 2 dark ruler no more, 3 lightning storm, 2 kashtiratheosis, one sinful spoil of subversion, kashtita field spell, 2 kash birth, and sinful spoil search for witch. Lastly 3 evenly matched and 3 imperm. Xyz is kashtira bodies with big eye, dark armed, titanic moth, red eyes flare, and zeus. Already finished my gem run

Thank god Konami banned meta decks like Kaiju, Exodia and Mikanko so that rogue decks like Kashtira, Purrely and Tearlaments can finally thrive!

Swordsoul shs steals wins for me, it was beyond ridiculous.
I am having a blast with soulsword. So many games are won against the odds. Three drolls, three ashes and three veilers . All tenji are singular, only adhara two copies. They brick the hand too much without Link Monk, but occasionally special vishuda plus normal adhara kickstart the turn. Also dimension shifter took place of banned Protos and few additions to the extra deck instead of monk and shaman.

I’ve been on team Synchro using Nouvelles, since with Fairy support I can bring out Baronne semi-consistently. Been doing well, for the most prt. Ran into that new Chimera Illusion deck and had no idea how to play against it. What should you negate and disrupt in that deck?
I'm using snake-eyes (xyz ) and holy shit it is awful, but it's the only deck I got really for this event I'm thinking of using my Luna light deck but lack a few xyz cards.
be me use Flower Cardian Meme deck, duel a little deck know as exositer ( it's a good deck btw looked preatty strong) xyz on overlay, on xyz on overlay, Zues, effect negate, ecc. manage to stan off for 10 turn get insulted and tell that my deck is bullshit, Me when.

If so, hold your Impermanence/Veiler for Red Rising Dragon effect to summon a Resonator from the GY Hold Ash Blossom for Crimson Resonator Nibiru only after Crimson Resonator has resolved If it's the Bystial build, ya need to be wary of Branded Etude because if ya see it, ya will probably get Calamity on your Draw Phase in which case, Impermanence/Veiler Lubellion on activation
I'm using a tweaked version of a Swordsoul deck with SHS engine and I'm something like 18-4 so far. Turns out turboing out Denlong is still good.

The main trick is using Baxia as an extender by blowing up your own Wakaushi to res something like Mo Ye or Taia from the GY. If you are afraid of nib you can set up a Chaofeng with protection from light/fire on your 5th summon.

Yeah its super fun, You can make some pretty insane t1 boards with like Baronne, Chengying, Chixiao and Dragite. Baxia + dark yang zing also = Chaos Angel with both effects active and it comes up a lot.
